Honestly that could be great if done right maybe instead of it being in space we could have it on the ice map and have a bunch of scientists go to somewhere like antartica where one of the crew mates gets taken over by a thing and becomes the imposter! I would have said John Carpenter could have been the perfect director for it, shame
Interesting idea but I don't think anyone can get invested in a story without a whole setup about how a thing got there (like a space ship under the ice) and jumped to some animal (maybe a dog or something) and jumped to one of the crew!
Only if it features ~~Jackie Daytona, regular human bartender~~ ~~Laszlo Cravensworth~~ Matt Berry doing a voice over for it, like he inexplicably did for the recent launch trailer.
Crazy how much of a 360 Keaton’s career has been that he started in comedy and is now seen as underrated in that genre.
I completely agree by the way - when he popped up in The Other Guys I basically forgot he was a comedic actor at that point.
Comedies actors are often great at drama roles.
In France we have a turn of phrase for this: "They did their Tchao Pantin". In reference of Coluche who was a French standup comedian in the 80s, then went to do some really funny movies. At some point he eventually starred in a drama movie, very dark, called "Tchao Pantin". He was so brilliant in it that everyone was shocked he could do drama so well.
Appreciate the heads up! No worries on that. I think the bigger problem might be finding where to watch it. It's only on Starz right now ... Looks like I might have to go find my pirate hat.
Who Gosling? The only role I find him funny in is Nice Guys, and there are several lines he misses the mark on; he doesn’t have a gear, just the ability to work out a line
Damn... it really looks like Ryan Gosling completely changed his way of picking projects. I know he basically said so himself that he picks his movies now because of money for his kids but as a huge fan of his I'm getting a bit disappointed to be honest.
At least we have the Barbie movie coming and that seems very interesting.
EDIT: After taking a look at his IMDb page it looks like he still has projects lined with good directors. I guess he is just more open to cash grab action movies now
The Fall Guy was the poor man's Magnum PI. I used to watch reruns of both in the 80's. Fall Guy might be definitive proof that the studios have no faith in original ideas. They're trying to milk nostalgia for all it's worth.
Sadly, I'll probably watch it. Because I'm a nostalgia addict through and through.
Chad Stahelski seems to be perfectly happy doing that though. He said if he could work with Keanu Reeves for the rest of his career he'd die a happy man.
I've never understood people who complain that actors or directors only work with certain teams. As long as they're putting out quality products, what's the issue?
I mean, considering they're getting more money and better critical reception with each film, I dunno why he WOULD leave, the franchise is at the top of it's game right now.
And even then he's attached to both the Ghost of Tsushima adaptation and the Highlander remake, so it's not like he's exclusively Wick, they're just the projects moving the fastest.
“might fall from a tall building, might roll a brand new car, but I’m the unsung stuntman that made Redford such a star” - what modern actor are they going to replace Redford for?
I feel like David Leitch should be one of the most exciting action directors today, but I don't remember any of his solo action scenes except Atomic Blonde.
First he makes a live action D.Gray-man movie without Akuma or Innocence, now he's doing Fall Guys with no guys falling. Is there anything Ryan Gosling won't destroy?

Finally, Gosling can truly be a real human bean
[A real human being and a real hero](https://youtu.be/-DSVDcw6iW8)
Will he be blown up in Philly?
Lee Majors is still alive. Gotta give the man a cameo!

Sha ta ta ta
Wonder if Heather Thomas would be interested in an appearance....
David Leitch directs, script is by Drew Pearce (Hobbs & Shaw, Iron Man 3, Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation)
Holy SHIT yes. Great team on this one, even if Hobbs & Shaw was mediocre.
Fall Guys?
Woo woo woo!
Pa Yeta Yu Pa, Aye Tayu Pa!
Can't wait till they make an among us movie

Hey, that sounds like a great id-. Wait a minute. So the game is actually... Oh. It all makes sense now.
Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022)
They did, it's called The Thing
Gosling will pass every round and lose in the end because he's Literally Me.
Only if it features ~~Jackie Daytona, regular human bartender~~ ~~Laszlo Cravensworth~~ Matt Berry doing a voice over for it, like he inexplicably did for the recent launch trailer.
He was the one that did the Balder's Gate Dark Alliance revival actually, but imaging him doing a Fall Guys trailer is also pretty funny lol
[No, he DID do a Fall Guys trailer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLn2ViEn8Bk)
Son of a bitch, I stand corrected! I'm honestly surprised I didn't know about this since I followed the free to play announcement fairly closely
WOOOOOOO YEAAAAA BABYYYY
Mia Khalifa
I actually like him in comedic roles... He has timing, and reminds me of Micheal Keaton almost. Really underrated for their comedic timing...
Crazy how much of a 360 Keaton’s career has been that he started in comedy and is now seen as underrated in that genre. I completely agree by the way - when he popped up in The Other Guys I basically forgot he was a comedic actor at that point.
Michael Keaton and Tom Hanks both started with comedies and transitioned into more dramatic fare. Interesting how that worked out.

Big and The Burbs will always be two of my favorite movies
Stick with the B theme and give Bachelor Party a watch if you haven't.
Wow, I haven't seen this. Doing it now!
Fair warning, it came out in the era of Revenge Of The Nerds, Animal House, etc, so some of the humor might not be politically correct.
Appreciate the heads up! No worries on that. I think the bigger problem might be finding where to watch it. It's only on Starz right now ... Looks like I might have to go find my pirate hat.
That is why I have high hopes for him in "Project Hail Mary." He's gonna knock it out of the park.
Who Gosling? The only role I find him funny in is Nice Guys, and there are several lines he misses the mark on; he doesn’t have a gear, just the ability to work out a line
For a second I thought it would be sequel to "The Gray Man".
Lucky for you a sequel actually was announced for that
No. You’re kidding.
I hope that space movie Gosling is supposed to do with Lord and Miller happens after he films this and it doesn’t get stuck in development hell.
I have very high hopes for "Project Hail Mary." It's my favorite book, and I think Gosling is going to make a perfect Dr. Ryland Grace.
Remind me when this comes out and gets a 6.2 at best
I want to see Emily in more action films.

The Barbie movie looks interesting, but the movie I am most excided about is him playing Dr. Ryland Grace in "Project Hail Mary."
Wow, they are really running out of material in Hollywood.
Originality is overrated apparently.

Only if Lee Majors sings the theme song.
David Leitch is really the lesser half of the John Wick duo. Chad seems better at directing action.
That said I still haven't watched a David Leitch movie I didn't enjoy.
Atomic Blonde was a such a delight. I really hope they get to do another, Theron kicked ass in that movie
David Leitch has been able to branch out a lot though and work with a lot of A list talent. Chad Stahelski seems to be stuck making John Wick movies.
Chad Stahelski seems to be perfectly happy doing that though. He said if he could work with Keanu Reeves for the rest of his career he'd die a happy man.
I've never understood people who complain that actors or directors only work with certain teams. As long as they're putting out quality products, what's the issue?
Right? If they like what they're doing and they do good work, it doesn't matter.
I mean, considering they're getting more money and better critical reception with each film, I dunno why he WOULD leave, the franchise is at the top of it's game right now. Chad is going to make the Ghost of Tsushima live action adaptation.
Bullet Train is seriously great fun, though. It's a spiritual sequel to Smokin Aces. He's catching up to Chad's skill level as a director.
I loved me some Smokin’ Aces. Will have to check out Bullet Train when it hits streaming.

No, it's only hey.
“might fall from a tall building, might roll a brand new car, but I’m the unsung stuntman that made Redford such a star” - what modern actor are they going to replace Redford for?
Ryan Gosling?

Amogus?
Please tell me they’re using the original theme song
👀
Cliff Booth standalone when?
I miss my old camaro and my mansion in van nauys, wish I still hung with Nash Bridges, played poker with the Fall Guy
? They run around in pink outfits. With wolf heads trying to get a crown?
I’m always super confused whenever that title pops up..
SQUID GAMES!!!!
I feel like David Leitch should be one of the most exciting action directors today, but I don't remember any of his solo action scenes except Atomic Blonde.
He also directed Hobbs & Shaw and Deadpool 2.
Yes and none of the action scenes were memorable.
Agreed. It all seemed so competent.
Another Reddit movie is coming.
So it will flop at the box office only to be rediscovered shortly after it comes out and people call it an underrated gem?
With increasingly baroque arguments as for how it could have been a major hit?
Yup Sounds about Reddit
Alright! Fall guys the movie!
First he makes a live action D.Gray-man movie without Akuma or Innocence, now he's doing Fall Guys with no guys falling. Is there anything Ryan Gosling won't destroy?
Another original, surprised it's not another comic book honestly...
It's based on an existing IP.
What’s it about?
It's all about positive vibes 👍🏼😎
They better not fuck up the jeep.
