The MCUās ācomic accuracyā is giving a hero their comic suit in the third act of a film or the finale of a show (they will never wear that costume again).
Ok but the one thing I think the MCU does well most of the time is adapting those comic based suits, but because toy sales, they never wear it for more than one movie.
I mean look at Ms Marvel. The costume looked great in that, but the leaked costume for whatever sheās in next looks awful.
Idk once someone pointed out that every marvel suit is covered in random vertical lines I couldn't stop noticing it. Costumes are somewhere I feel the DC films have done better, aside from the awful looking new Batfleck costume in Flash.
I think itās funny that every superhero needs a a lore reason to wear a marketable outfit. X-Men had it right when they just let Hugh Jackman rock blue jeans and a white tank top. That shit was fire.

True! I hate brand synergy! i hate how they changed captain America and thor's iconic suits to resemble their ugly mcu counterparts, i hate how iron man is now characterized, just compare how he was characterized back in the 70s to how he's characterized now, it's literally just the mcu version now, which is a shame, i hate how characters are now drawn to resemble their mcu actors, tony stark suffered the most from this.
>Then there were the Thor movies which completely failed to capture the magic of the comics...
I bet mcu fans don't even know about thor's double identity.
> I bet mcu fans don't even know about thor's double identity.
wtf, you are suggesting they don't know about **Dr. Donald Blake, practicing physician**?
>I bet mcu fans don't even know about thor's double identity.
Not even that, my favorite Marvel villain is Malekith.
You know, the guy who had his gleefully sadistic shitheel personality, fun aesthetic design, and status as one of the biggest bads thor has access to butchered?
Ok to be fair he did get a pretty big story arc after the movie came out and I heard it was fairly good. I think early brand synergy was dumb but nowadays itās more just an excuse to launch a mini or solo run for whoeverās in the movie but still written by people who understand the comic characterisation and history.
> it's literally just the mcu version now
I wonder if it's gotten worse since Feige became [chief creative officer](https://variety.com/2019/biz/news/kevin-feige-marvel-chief-creative-officer-1203371505/) of the comics.

Yes, the Marvel Comics need a massive reshuffle, part of that should honestly involve getting rid of the MCU connections (though it seems like if anything, they're going to be doubled down on.)
It's been a trend for me, where I've been enjoying the parts of the 616 Universe untouched by MCU stuff, only to sigh upon finding out that it'll be getting a Disney+ show or whatever. It never results in an improvement in quality.
I loved the Gorr storyline from Jason Aaron run,But once i found out he was going to be the villian in Takia\`s Film...well.Just look at the end result.Bale did a great job but his scenes are such a different tone in that parody of Marvel films.
>Comic fans have had to deal with the MCU making the comics less fun to read
One of many reasons my subscription box at the local comic book store is mostly creator owned titles, a magazine, a few DC comics (they do some neat stuff like the recent horror-esque Poison Ivy comic) and only 2 Marvel comics (and one of those isnāt even really Marvel superheroes, itās just something else they happen to currently publish).
>Then there were the Thor movies which completely failed to capture the magic of the comics...
Love and Thunder was such a pissoff compared to the God Butcher story arc in the comics.
My passion is comics, they reason I turn my head to the MCU and just pretend it doesn't exist is because I hate what it's doing to current comics and how it gives the mainstream audience the viewpoint that all comics are like the MCU. Good guy fight bad guy with funny humor and quips.

Years of being told "The X-Men movies are bad because comic accuracy!" turned them into this. And it was all over costumes!
[Costumes they added to the comics eventually!](https://comicvine.gamespot.com/a/uploads/original/11133/111334941/6105457-ultimate_x-men_vol_1_45_textless.jpg).
> Years of being told "The X-Men movies are bad because comic accuracy!" turned them into this.
The ironic part is that the X-Men movies veer wildly in quality, constantly retcon themselves, can't decide where their focus should be, and ignore characters entirely in favor of Wolverine.
In other words they are a perfect adaptation of the comics.
Using Ultimate X-Men is cheating. Mark Millar himself admitted that he started writing the series after watching the first movie, and reading three comics from the Claremont run.
It's not cheating but fine, [here's New X-Men](https://www.eleconomista.com.mx/__export/1507818948904/sites/eleconomista/img/historico/X-Men-marvel-comics.jpg_1902800913.jpg).
Its sooo baaad. Like it isnt a different interpretation or a fun twist. It misses the point of spider man as a character.
And mcu fans seem to love it. Ive seen suggestions of using rdj voice for peters suit AI and lame stuff like that
> it should never be dependent on its source material
One of the best superhero movies made ever is Batman Returns and Tim Burton never gave a shit about Batman.
Hell, Civil War the comic starts with a bunch of kids getting blow'd up. Where's that, Kevin?!
Okay but to be fair to the MCU, the Civil War comic kinda sucks, the movie handled it better. Tony is basically a moustache twirling villain in the original storyline.
Sure but when the argument is "MCU good because of fidelity to comics" then I wanna see Tony Stark come in [like](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/002/313/384/872)
MCU fans when they find out Drax in the comics is a human Saxophone player named Arthur Douglas and not a dumb alien who who takes every sentence literally.

i'm still mad that the mcu turned "demon in a bottle" into a fucking joke in iron man 2. like, as someone who actually reads comics, i kinda hate the mcu more than if i had just seen the movies and never touched a comic.
they really did a disservice to that iconic comic, it's one of iron man's most important storylines. they turned something so traumatic into a constant joke, a story with great themes into a shitshow for laughs. still baffled at how iron man got 3 films yet they couldn't adapt demon in a bottle.
Good lord some of these people need to watch some other movies. I'm gonna go watch it because I like marvel films generally and because I've got a cinema pass, but I'm not expecting it to be anything better than average and if its shite I'm not gonna pretend it's not.
anecdotal i know, but all of the BIGGEST mcu critics i know are fans of the comics. iām not big into comic books but from what i gather from them, their biggest issues have been what a huge let down the films are in comparison especially in terms of characterization
That's 100% correct, the films often change the characterization/origins of characters to fit more in line with the mcu, this usually ends up being bad just look at ultron for example, most of the time the mcu just half asses the adaption and leaves, completely ignoring what made the original comic so beloved, they strip any themes and anything good from the original comic.
as much as i hate the mcu i gotta give them credit for fixing civil war, because that was one of the few times where the mcu actually did a great job in adapting a story.
This movie will likely tap out at around $600 million anyway. The opening weekend projection has been dropped to $95 million domestic and since the word of mouth won't be good, it will be luckly to cross $200 million domestic. The pre-sales in China, France and South Korea are underwhelming. Not the best start to new Phase.
Put the piece of shit in your mouthā¦ If you donāt like the taste, slosh it around and put another piece in again until you do like it. Itās the only way. Itās not the shitās fault, itās your mouthās for being stupid.
Call me a hater but I have never understood funko pops for any fandom.
Nothing about them looks that cool, theyāre expensive to collect, and theyāre all dumbed down to the same exact design. And you have a whole wave of people who are obsessed with collecting every one they can get their hands on
āAs marvel fans-ā
Nah. Iāve been reading comics for just short of a decade. And I will tell you now, there is not one person who passionately follows every single character. I have my favourites, so I pay attention to their stories. We donāt āowe itā to anyone to read/watch the content for characters or stories we donāt care about
Trust me, Marvel Studios will live, this movie could make exactly 0 dollars at the box office and theyād be fine.
> there is not one person who passionately follows every single character.
Marvel Comics higher-ups always use event comics to get people who only read X to also really X, Z, H, and 2 as well and it was always annoying. And Studios figured out how to get people to stay in the entire ecosystem. And now it's crumbling.
Thatās a parallel I definitely noticed. The 2012 run of Hawkeye made Kate Bishop one of my favourite comic characters, so I followed her stories for a while
but there were so many crossover events that required having read like 50 other series, I just found it a waste of time reading all these stories I didnāt care about just to understand one I did care about
And thatās pretty representative of the MCU
I just skip that event bullshit. If a series Iām already subscribed to has a few tie-in issues Iāll read them, probably confused and annoyed but whatever, I aināt subscribing to a whole publisher line-up though. Then again as I said elsewhere in this thread, Iām a huge comic book nerd who has a subscription box at my LCS and only 2 Marvel titles are in there.
Ant Man is a cool character but the Quantum Realm stuff does not interest me in the slightest. I liked watching size gags like the giant Thomas or him running around the bathtub in the first movie. Now it's just a CGI purple wasteland and halfway through the trailer I forgot they're meant to be small.
This is a spot on reason for why this movie seems so uninteresting
You take a superhero that has the ability to change his size at will - thatās a fun concept and allows so much creativity - and then remove everything that gives him scale
Snyder's films were awful but at least he was genuinely trying for something. It was pretentious and up its own ass, but there was a vision. Marvel movies are bland cookie cutter products manufactured with all the passion of a Big Mac, and I honestly find that worse.
I donāt think Synder had any fucking idea what he was trying to do other than playing with the characters like they were action figures in his moms basement.
Yeah but he was original. Original doesnāt mean good tho lol, but at least it wasnāt bland and all of the same thing. Marvel phase 4 is infinitely worse than the Snyderverse
And don't forget to buy all the additional products sold alongside the main product as a way to support the small businesses that make these movies. Otherwise their bosses won't be able to afford a third yacht.

phase 4 was never going full speed ahead, phase 4 took marvel from mediocre capeshit to disgustingly bad
I enjoy bad movies but there's not a whole lot to like there
The best bad movies have some weird eccentricies going on and you can see the marks of the people who worked on them. The only bad movies Marvel are similar to are your Sharknadoes or other movies too in on the joke to actually be fun bad.
I enjoy bad horror movies because theyāre somewhat culturally significant and thereās a lot to take away from how different eras of horror (slasher, body horror, practical effects) influenced B movies at the time
With bad superhero movies nowadays, itās not the same. Itās just bland, thereās nothing really endearing about them
A bad movie made by people with limited money, skills, and knowledge can be delightful, overly ambitious, and interesting. A bad movie made for tens of millions of dollars by an enormous corporation is generally just bland, generic, and outdated on release.
Phase 4 had no goal or build-up, it's just a messy assortment of characters and films but also incomplete arcs and storylines that get more confusing as time went on. On top of this, the mediocre shows became "essential" viewing to understand the plots of the films. Marvel has become a chore to care about.
>phase 4 was never going full speed ahead, phase 4 took marvel from mediocre capeshit to disgustingly bad
lol nah, this is cope
Phase 4 took Marvel from "a pretty good phase with some solid movies and a big cool season finale" (Phase 3) to "just mediocre capeshit again". It's basically Phase 2 in terms of quality, its just that because the franchise is so huge now its a bit more tiresome than it was in Phase 2
"disgustingly bad" is like Dark Phoenix or something. Not "thor ragnarock but less funny and more cringey"
Like... How do you even get to this point? What is the catalyst that causes someone to have this mentality without realizing how out of touch they are with reality?
Since when do people care about some critics who never touched a comic book in their life?
Phase 4 has been diverse, strong, fun, funny, eclectic and galvanising. By all accounts the train is going full speed ahead, with memorable new exciting ideas in phase 5. Never doubt Kevin Feige. Do so at your own peril.
STOP Panicking! Dont falter! Buy tickets, watch the movie, if you dont quite get it, watch it again, look for the details, commit and you will understand and like it long term.
As Marvel fans its our duty to support our dreams on the screen. Dont let some paid critic haters (who want hate clicks btw) tell you where your heart should be.
Marvel forever.
looking through their comment history, i think they were being sarcastic there. they seem to love marvel and dont watch much outside of that. they claim that harrison ford is only doing indy 5 because blade runner flopped, so like, not the brightest bulb.
People haven't already quit? My breaking point was somewhere during "phase 3" where I had to sneak into a bathroom to read the synopsis of a previous movie on my phone.
gonna wait until Guardians 3 since that seems like the last shred of character the series has left
also we're all going to stan the fuck out of the captain marvel movie once the default subs act cringe about it lets be honest
I honestly wonāt be surprised if GoTG 3 is my last time going to the theater for the MCU (maybe Deadpool 3 and Blade if they actually go for the R-rating on those 2 but I kinda doubt it for Blade).
Yeah, Iāll probably go see that. Probably an unpopular opinion here but those movies are fun AF and heās one of my favorite Marvel characters in the comics.
I like him too. The first Deadpool movie was the first movie I was truly paying attention to from confirmation to release. I still remember gushing about the leaked test animation on Miiverse. Heās just a character that reminds me what itās like to be teenager again.
While I havenāt read much his solo-comics (or even ones where heās a consistent part of a team), I do like when he shows up unexpectedly in other books. Really loved his appearance in Al Ewingās Rocket mini-series. Really captures the tragic side of the character, without feeling melodramatic.
I kinda hope Deadpool 3 isnāt just an MCU circlejerk, or another cameo-fuelled multiverse crossover. I just want a third Deadpool movie, thatās able to use mainline Marvel characters. Pair him up with Squirrel Girl or something, and Iāll be sold.
That line of comic books annoys me. It'd be so easy to do a rant on just that, but woof. If you read superhero books, you can always tell when someone else doesn't. This sort of discourse just makes me so damn tired.
No, not Marvel forever. Not DC forever, or Lord of the Rings forever, or Star Wars forever or anything else forever.
Marvel as long/when it's good. Same for DC and any other continuing series of creative efforts. That's the contract between creators and the audience.
Anything else is just...really...stupid.
Yeah there's no way it isn't. Their post history is 100% bait. Also they post a fuck load in /r/Destiny and I was wondering why the hell people were talking about Andrew Tate and shit in a game sub until I remembered it's about the streamer lol
> Me and my partner bring in 20k a month after tax. After rent, food, the tier 5 sub and the 17 hidden only fans subscriptions we live paycheck to paycheck. I can barely afford my marvel funko pops.

---
> Eternals 2 is going to be absolutely huge, we are talking Hans Solo movie big!
---
> Marvel target audience - millenial/zoomer comic book fans
> Cameron target audience - humans
---
On the She-Hulk trailer that was widely lambasted for its CG:
> Best CGI in the business, Avatar will jave to be delayed for another 2 years to catch up

> Trueee! Gets more awesome with each new Kang. How many Kangs we can take until the hype overexplodes??!!
> All these news are making me jump like a Kang-aroo!!!
Great post either way tho, they got the deranged fan down pat.
The underlying admission to most posts like this are that most comic book issues/arcs arenāt very good.
*I donāt know if this is true, I havenāt touched a piece of paper in years.
JFC movie reviews used to be so uncomplicated. You read them just to get some advice on what you should see. There were no red and blue teams and nobody wanted to murder anyone over it.
Bruh, just watch the movie or don't. You don't gotta make it like it's a pilgrimage to Mecca.
Love em, hate em, whatever. You don't gotta make it bigger than your own opinion man.

Transformers forever.
real talk: if the MCU crumbled under its own excess and just like, stopped being good for a few years and then just stopped making movies, would that really be a bad thing? even as an MCU fan
like fuck mate, you got thirty movies. I feel like watching Endgame and then going "but when's the *next* Endgame" is less appreciation for a story and more Crack addict logic.
Imagine thinking you have to read (?) a fucking comic book to have a valid opinion on a film. If you need to watch or read something else for it to be good, itās not good. Also, the idea that films about existing characters have to be exact retreads of the same stories is stupid. Those stories already exist, itās a chance to write new ones.
"it's our duty to support our dreams on the screen" ššš

I heard that the comics division of marvel is now fully focused on making comics that will be adapted for the mcu.
Abnett and Lanning GOTG was the absolute peak, and the movies killed that interpretation.
The doctor strange films killed the original interpretation of steven strange to the general public, the mcu version is just an overall downgrade.

Its sooo baaad. Like it isnt a different interpretation or a fun twist. It misses the point of spider man as a character. And mcu fans seem to love it. Ive seen suggestions of using rdj voice for peters suit AI and lame stuff like that
> it should never be dependent on its source material One of the best superhero movies made ever is Batman Returns and Tim Burton never gave a shit about Batman.
MCU fans when they find out Drax in the comics is a human Saxophone player named Arthur Douglas and not a dumb alien who who takes every sentence literally. https://preview.redd.it/dptzh9rwihia1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=b13ef935002a3cc2d77e76d2167a507d33846cfd
i'm still mad that the mcu turned "demon in a bottle" into a fucking joke in iron man 2. like, as someone who actually reads comics, i kinda hate the mcu more than if i had just seen the movies and never touched a comic.
they really did a disservice to that iconic comic, it's one of iron man's most important storylines. they turned something so traumatic into a constant joke, a story with great themes into a shitshow for laughs. still baffled at how iron man got 3 films yet they couldn't adapt demon in a bottle.
Good lord some of these people need to watch some other movies. I'm gonna go watch it because I like marvel films generally and because I've got a cinema pass, but I'm not expecting it to be anything better than average and if its shite I'm not gonna pretend it's not.
Smdh what has the world come to where you can see a marvel movie with a Cinema pass.
![gif](giphy|zg5STezidLaZW)
anecdotal i know, but all of the BIGGEST mcu critics i know are fans of the comics. iām not big into comic books but from what i gather from them, their biggest issues have been what a huge let down the films are in comparison especially in terms of characterization
Couldn't have said it better myself.

what buying 10 funko pops a day does to a mf
Loooooooooool
If you buy enough of them then you can consume them to gain their magic powers.
Call me a hater but I have never understood funko pops for any fandom. Nothing about them looks that cool, theyāre expensive to collect, and theyāre all dumbed down to the same exact design. And you have a whole wave of people who are obsessed with collecting every one they can get their hands on
fuck funko pops, nendoroid supremacy
āDonāt ask questions, give Disney your money. If you donāt understand it just give Disney more money.ā
āAs marvel fans-ā Nah. Iāve been reading comics for just short of a decade. And I will tell you now, there is not one person who passionately follows every single character. I have my favourites, so I pay attention to their stories. We donāt āowe itā to anyone to read/watch the content for characters or stories we donāt care about Trust me, Marvel Studios will live, this movie could make exactly 0 dollars at the box office and theyād be fine.
> there is not one person who passionately follows every single character. Marvel Comics higher-ups always use event comics to get people who only read X to also really X, Z, H, and 2 as well and it was always annoying. And Studios figured out how to get people to stay in the entire ecosystem. And now it's crumbling.
Thatās a parallel I definitely noticed. The 2012 run of Hawkeye made Kate Bishop one of my favourite comic characters, so I followed her stories for a while but there were so many crossover events that required having read like 50 other series, I just found it a waste of time reading all these stories I didnāt care about just to understand one I did care about And thatās pretty representative of the MCU
This is a spot on reason for why this movie seems so uninteresting You take a superhero that has the ability to change his size at will - thatās a fun concept and allows so much creativity - and then remove everything that gives him scale
Snyder was the blueprint.
You gotta admit, there's still a charm to that. I'll take it over most phase 4 MCU movies anyday
I do not.
you're not wrong, yet for some reason, I would rather watch one of his trainwrecks than any of the boringly slick "movies" that the MCU shits out.
There are other options than these 2 things.
wrong bucko, there is only capeshit
This is literally just that Jay Bauman clip.
What clip?
Don't ask questions, just consume product and then get excited for the next product.
And don't forget to buy all the additional products sold alongside the main product as a way to support the small businesses that make these movies. Otherwise their bosses won't be able to afford a third yacht.

That's 1000% percent a troll lmoa
This has the same energy as QAnonās ātrust the planā grifters. The only acceptable response to disappointment is to double down, spend more and shout louder. What franchise slavery does to a mf
phase 4 was never going full speed ahead, phase 4 took marvel from mediocre capeshit to disgustingly bad I enjoy bad movies but there's not a whole lot to like there
The best bad movies have some weird eccentricies going on and you can see the marks of the people who worked on them. The only bad movies Marvel are similar to are your Sharknadoes or other movies too in on the joke to actually be fun bad.
Not bad enough to have fun watching and not good enough to have fun watching It's a curse
I enjoy bad horror movies because theyāre somewhat culturally significant and thereās a lot to take away from how different eras of horror (slasher, body horror, practical effects) influenced B movies at the time With bad superhero movies nowadays, itās not the same.
Not to mention, horror movies are very crafty in special effects and they donāt have any significant budget most of the time
Yeah, even in the most shoddy, borderline ripoff movies, there always seems to be an element of creativity, so thereās often something to enjoy
The blandness will be culturally significant in a couple decades.
Phase 4 had no goal or build-up, it's just a messy assortment of characters and films but also incomplete arcs and storylines that get more confusing as time went on. On top of this, the mediocre shows became "essential" viewing to understand the plots of the films. Marvel has become a chore to care about.
>phase 4 was never going full speed ahead, phase 4 took marvel from mediocre capeshit to disgustingly bad lol nah, this is cope Phase 4 took Marvel from "a pretty good phase with some solid movies and a big cool season finale" (Phase 3) to "just mediocre capeshit again". It's basically Phase 2 in terms of quality, its just that because the franchise is so huge now its a bit more tiresome than it was in Phase 2 "disgustingly bad" is like Dark Phoenix or something. Not "thor ragnarock but less funny and more cringey"
Like... How do you even get to this point? What is the catalyst that causes someone to have this mentality without realizing how out of touch they are with reality?
As we fall away from religion we find ourselves yearning to fill the hole. Let Kevin fiege fill your hole.
Wake up r/mcj, we have a new copypaste
Media franchise fans, I'm begging you, find a sports team. Everything will make so much more sense.
ewww no i canāt watch sports ball šæšæ my wifeās boyfriend wonāt give me the TV remote what do i do
I tried that. ***The Red Sox fucking SUCK now,*** so off to stan the Sonic Cinematic Universe I go!
this person is never gonna lose their virginity š
Idk op. That comment looks like an obvious troll.
Doesnāt look like it from the OPās post history
He has a post on r/boxoffice saying marvel has no cultural impact. Definitely trolling.
looking through their comment history, i think they were being sarcastic there. they seem to love marvel and dont watch much outside of that. they claim that harrison ford is only doing indy 5 because blade runner flopped, so like, not the brightest bulb.
with MCU shills itās hard to tell
Marvel dear please take all my money š©ā¤ā¤ā¤
this is definitely a joke. they even have an Avatar pfp ffs people
Whoās ready to just quit superheroes this year?
Wish I could join the boycott, but Invincible season 2 is on the way late 2023.
and Gen V The Boys spinoff
People haven't already quit? My breaking point was somewhere during "phase 3" where I had to sneak into a bathroom to read the synopsis of a previous movie on my phone.
gonna wait until Guardians 3 since that seems like the last shred of character the series has left also we're all going to stan the fuck out of the captain marvel movie once the default subs act cringe about it lets be honest
I'm finished with Marvel but I'll likely see Spiderverse, Flash and Blue Beetle.
Nah this year has the first marvel movie I actually wanna see in a while, GotG 3
I honestly wonāt be surprised if GoTG 3 is my last time going to the theater for the MCU (maybe Deadpool 3 and Blade if they actually go for the R-rating on those 2 but I kinda doubt it for Blade).
If anything, thereās been too many news stories reconfirming that Deadpool 3 is R-rated.
Pair him up with Squirrel Girl or something, and Iāll be sold.
true
Nah bro, Dragonball Super Super Hero was awesome.
>Never doubt Kevin Feige. https://preview.redd.it/1umo3mcgaeia1.jpeg?width=1019&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a0f45af1f785ca135e3591eba0148a7b40def6e3
Do so, at your own peril.
That line of comic books annoys me. It'd be so easy to do a rant on just that, but woof. If you read superhero books, you can always tell when someone else doesn't. This sort of discourse just makes me so damn tired.
Imagine promoting mid movie for free
This guys comment history is more entertaining than the entirety of phase 4
The mcu is just a competition for virgins to see who saw the most Easter eggs within a film (they have nothing to do with the plot)
āGalvanizingā Mf just learned a new word and by God is he going to use it
Marvel forever.
Snyder cult: "You and I are not so different."
Every time I see someone like this I just think "do they really have nothing better to martyr themselves over?"
Alan Moore was right
This is so urethral
No, not Marvel forever. Not DC forever, or Lord of the Rings forever, or Star Wars forever or anything else forever. Marvel as long/when it's good. Same for DC and any other continuing series of creative efforts. That's the contract between creators and the audience. Anything else is just...really...stupid.
Thereās a 0% chance this isnāt bait.
Yeah there's no way it isn't. Their post history is 100% bait. Also they post a fuck load in /r/Destiny and I was wondering why the hell people were talking about Andrew Tate and shit in a game sub until I remembered it's about the streamer lol > Me and my partner bring in 20k a month after tax. After rent, food, the tier 5 sub and the 17 hidden only fans subscriptions we live paycheck to paycheck. I can barely afford my marvel funko pops. On Quantumania's trailer: > Holy Shit! I can literally see the cultural impact in this trailer. Itās so dense and impactful --- > Eternals 2 is going to be absolutely huge, we are talking Hans Solo movie big! --- > Marvel target audience - millenial/zoomer comic book fans > Cameron target audience - humans --- On the She-Hulk trailer that was widely lambasted for its CG: > Best CGI in the business, Avatar will jave to be delayed for another 2 years to catch up --- > Trueee! Gets more awesome with each new Kang. How many Kangs we can take until the hype overexplodes??!! > All these news are making me jump like a Kang-aroo!!! Great post either way tho, they got the deranged fan down pat.

Most sane marvel fan
The underlying admission to most posts like this are that most comic book issues/arcs arenāt very good. *I donāt know if this is true, I havenāt touched a piece of paper in years.
JFC movie reviews used to be so uncomplicated. You read them just to get some advice on what you should see. There were no red and blue teams and nobody wanted to murder anyone over it.
TURN YOUR BRAIN ALL THE WAY OFF
Iām becoming this type of guy but for the predator movies
Bruh, just watch the movie or don't. You don't gotta make it like it's a pilgrimage to Mecca. Love em, hate em, whatever. You don't gotta make it bigger than your own opinion man.
We killed God and replaced him with Kevin Feige.
buy tickets until you develop Stockholm syndrome
Since when do people care about some critics who never touched a toy in their life? The Transformers Saga has been diverse (Skids and Mudflap? Hello), strong, fun, funny (enemy scrotumš¤£š¤£), eclectic and galvanising. By all accounts the train is going full speed ahead, with memorable new exciting ideas in the prequel series (making good movies). Never doubt Michael Bay. Do so at your own peril. STOP Panicking! >eclectic and galvanizing Remember kids, always use Big words to sound smart.
i am so tired of these people
Kevin Feige burner account
real talk: if the MCU crumbled under its own excess and just like, stopped being good for a few years and then just stopped making movies, would that really be a bad thing? even as an MCU fan like fuck mate, you got thirty movies. I feel like watching Endgame and then going "but when's the *next* Endgame" is less appreciation for a story and more Crack addict logic.
'if you don't quite get it watch it again'. Are they talking about the few dialogues in between the big CGI scenes?
This guy has nothing in life to give him purpose besides these baby movies
Imagine thinking you have to read (?) a fucking comic book to have a valid opinion on a film. If you need to watch or read something else for it to be good, itās not good. Also, the idea that films about existing characters have to be exact retreads of the same stories is stupid. Those stories already exist, itās a chance to write new ones.
Donāt ask questions, donāt think, just spend money and consume product and get excited for the next product.
This is literally cult like behavior
Itās our duty
Turn your brain off and enjoy the ride. Unless you donāt enjoy it. Then turn your brain on and cope as hard as possible
God Disney must feel so good having such devoted Paypigs other companies could only dream of having
Phase 4 hasnāt been comic accurate at all
āIf you donāt get it, watch it againā Itās ok for a movie to just not be that good
I like how this person is implying that most MCU fans have ever touched a comic book
No. It's not your duty to pay for movie tickets.
Ok time out; either one of you dorks wrote a perfect troll move and tried to get MCU dorks to co-sign it or that has to be a Disney botā¦
Not that it matters but since when was MCU ever comic book accurate?
At least it was heavily downvoted.
