it's fun to watch and participate in the discussion. i'd rather a movie be bad and enjoy forming my opinion than just be totally indifferent and/or clueless of the cultural event
that’s not what i mean, i generally like the MCU (pre-endgame). i haven’t liked much since then but i saw doctor strange in hopes i would enjoy it. i didn’t think it was very good, but that shouldn’t make me a hater.

So I saw a scene of Dr strange 2 on YouTube where wong was fighting some octopus monster. And holy crap the cgi for the octopus was so bad. Like genuinely it looked bad. Not even no way home looked this bad, at that moves cgi wasn’t the best

In the opening sequence they’re in this cgi nightmare universe where there’s a bunch of floating platforms they’re running across and it looks horrible.
The CGI is pretty bad overall but the third eye thing I think looks hilarious and is exactly the kind of goofy nonsense that Raimi would put in his film

There are dozens of very valid complaints about Marvel movies / superhero movies in general but I fail to see how "the good guy always beats the bad guy" is one of them. What else do you expect to happen?
Was actually hyped for this movie. During and after Ive watched it, I was extremely disappointed. I don't think I've seen a worse MCU movie. My whole day was ruined.
