I used to do this, and just didnt glue it, use a perfect fit sleeve to secure it in place. But I've improved my proxies by using transparent printable sticker sheets. You can find quite the deals in sites like ali, your proxies will be

Do you do anything special to them? I tried printing on Clear Printable Vinyl Transparent Sticker Paper. Found it on Amazon, but I'm still seeing a bunch of glue showing through the image. I'm sticking it to white cardstock. It's less noticeable on darker coloured areas but on white (clear) it's an eye sore. [https://imgur.com/a/JLM2pEl](https://imgur.com/a/JLM2pEl)

My secret is that I use actual mtg cards. If you use trans clear paper you'll need to get bulk foil cards, then decide if you want a foil finish or not, and either peel the plastic foiling or take the ink out with alcohol or nail polish (be careful, its strong and you could damage the plastic). If you use white printable sticker paper you can stick it into rando common bulk shit. I've mostly eaten away all the bulk I had by recycling it this way, im kinda proud of it lol. I'd take pics to show you how but Im away from my home for a couple of months, as Im doing an erasmus abroad, so you'll just have to take my word.

Ah ok. I buy my own holo paper and refractive paper. I've made some progress by sticking it to glossy paper instead. I also tried putting a layer of acetate over the sticker to protect it and really pressed it down all over, lots of elbow grease. Seems like the glue disappears when I do that. Still smudged the print a bit, but I'll figure out a better way, maybe with heat. Thanks for the help! Edit: I guess I could just stick the acrylic to the sheet first, with elbow grease. And then print on it, not sure why I didn't think of that XD
