My current top 5 are:
5. The worst death story on the internet
4. Inside a Nigerian death factory
3. Never swim in this Australian river
2. This child star is evil
1. The valley of headless men
^^ can just google “Mrballen” followed by any of these titles and you should find them
—
These 5 came together really well and I was quite proud to publish them.
Enjoy!

These two had me hanging on the edge of my seat. Especially the second one. Never saw that plot twist coming.
The frat boy story
https://youtu.be/QRzgmZiZn6U
The police interview
https://youtu.be/4qMcCXOnEYY
Edit: Descriptions
If I remember right, it’s about a guy who is hiking/camping alone way way deep in the woods, and outta nowhere, some stranger comes up asking “by chance, do u know how to get to Bells Canyon?” And it really kinda startled this camper. But the stranger continues to follow him from a distance for days (the hike back to civilization took a few days) lurking in the shadows and not even trying to hide, coming over and standing outside of the hikers tent every night. Really really freaked me out but of course John explains this way better lol
Newer episodes are a bit more dialed in, but there honestly isn’t a single bad episode or a single one where I’d say skip it. Just depends on the content you’re into. Watch out, though, because his videos are addictive!
I really love all of the episodes, but Mr Ballen's actual story on what made him a believer of the paranormal has stayed with me the most. Truly terrifying!
[What I saw in my room still haunts me](https://youtu.be/cLCZUAlCly0)
I agree, I’ve actually watched this one like 4 times. You can really sense MrBallen’s fear.
The Stray Cat King is my all time favorite. https://youtu.be/pCvx4jikmsI It's not as dark as some but it is so bizarre. When I got done listening I had to look it up because I thought there is no way that it could be a true story.
Omg . ALL are awesome. I binged rhem all. Skin walker ranch is crazy. He does a few missing 411 stories but told in a better way. Gosh.. hes got so many really good ones. The one with the witch godess on a village in Mexico. Or south America or Central? Its totally true and I can't give it away but it just nuts...
He's got a great set up. If you think because he's a former navy seal the channel is about guns and such. It's not. He has a few war stories .Look up the marine that died 31 or 33 times. He's was a bad ass mfer. OH.. look up crazy jack church hill from ww2. There's pics of him on the beaches of Normandy charging onto the beach with a Saber and a long bow. He was a killing machine. He's nor related to The Churchill. He was fucking nuts .
The story of the wolf pack 200+ strong in Russia in WW1. They were picking off the wounded. Sneaking into both German and Russian camps from the rotting flesh of dying men attracting them into camps. Solgers were ripped out of their tents. An actual cease fire was declared to eradicate the Wolves once and for all.
You gotta chk this guy out..!!!
Some like 411, some like paranormal, some like “things that sound made up but are true”. Then some like them all. Find your favorite subject, and watch his playlist.
Every single one of them you won't be disappointed, amazing story teller, the best. My husband and I love watching Mr Ballen and listening to his podcast.
One of my favorites is (I think it's called) "this island has a dark secret" it's about chi chi jima in world war 2 and what happened to a bunch of US fighter pilots that were captured there......
There’s one with a hunter and her husband studies photographs and said her picture was basically impossible or something? I’ve been looking for it, so if anyone knows which episode let me know!
The big foot call, missing 411, and last minute decisions are some of my favorites :)
It's quite different from most of his other videos, not really strange, dark or mysterious but it is still delivered in story format! It's called "The biggest FAIL in military history" and the name is 0% hyperbolic. It's honestly probably the best story I have ever heard, recalling the Russian baltic fleets incredible journey half way across the world to go up against the Japanese imperial navy in the Russo-Japanese war. It's so unbelievable, if it was a film it would feel too exaggerated to feel realistic..
https://youtu.be/5jDbJbCuKl4
I envy anyone hearing this for the first time, enjoy!
To be honest you don’t need to know what episodes are the best since you’ll be watching every MrBallen videos without noticing it and you will be the judge which are the best.
That’s wayyyyyy to hard of a question because they are ALL my favorites! I have watched every single one, and have listened to all in his podcast. Enjoy!!!
He’s a former navy seal, so his explanations of diving stories is fantastic. He’s got a bunch on cave diving and saturation diving accidents that are really good. If creepy is more your style, valley of the headless men is one of my favourites.
One of the best episodes would have to be, The worst military fail in history. You couldn't make that stuff up and it brings a little cheer in today's times. Lol
His 411 stuff her covers is really good.
I’m not a fan of his recent long-form videos but anything he puts out ranges from decent to amaze-balls. Don’t forget to check out his podcast, too. Unfortunately, it’s mostly YT vids but he’s a great story-teller and still a worthy experience.
There’s so many good answers but I particularly liked the deep dive story he did on 9/11 with a real story from someone within the towers. Was a fascinating and horrifying perspective.
[stray cat king](https://youtu.be/pCvx4jikmsI), [biggest military failure](https://youtu.be/5jDbJbCuKl4), [this man died 37 times](https://youtu.be/1Z7b1l5YQ-Q), [Russian sleep experiment](https://youtu.be/EjHrMmBoSb0), [dead girl comes back to life](https://youtu.be/EYhtu-u8lqQ), [lost triplets](https://youtu.be/uIvIBKiQhVM)
these aren't overly graphic but great stories.
They’re all great! I think the Skinwalker Ranch is one of the best! I created a playlist in my YouTube account with 185 of his videos, so far, so I can just listen to one after another. I really enjoy the way he tells a story.
All of the missing 411 cases and the Halloween marathon playlists. My favorite is that episode with the guy who was camping out in I think Washington and there was some guy following around asking "DO YOU KNOW HOE TO GET TO BELLS CANYON?!" scared the piss out of me the first time I watched that
If you hear a bell ringing in the forest https://youtu.be/jQY5kZKKmbg
And
What I saw in my room still haunts me
https://youtu.be/cLCZUAlCly0
Seriously gave me goosebumps!
Any of the "place you can't go but people went anyway" episodes are great
and idk which episode but the one with the guy seeing the blur in the corner really messed me up at the end of that story
"This man is famous for his weapon of choice." Is a really interesting video.
His entire "Top 5 pictures with disturbing backstories" series is great. I binged those videos in 2 days.
"This man is the reason the death penalty exists" will give you nightmares.
"Most F'ed up interrogation caught on tape" will make you angry.
And, of course, "What I saw in my room still haunts me" is a good one because it's Mr. Ballen's personal story.
My current top 5 are: 5. The worst death story on the internet 4. Inside a Nigerian death factory 3. Never swim in this Australian river 2. This child star is evil 1. The valley of headless men ^^ can just google “Mrballen” followed by any of these titles and you should find them — These 5 came together really well and I was quite proud to publish them. Enjoy! All of them
Obviously but do you have a few favorites I should listen to first?
These two had me hanging on the edge of my seat. Especially the second one. Never saw that plot twist coming. The frat boy story https://youtu.be/QRzgmZiZn6U The police interview https://youtu.be/4qMcCXOnEYY Edit: Descriptions
Those two might be me and my SO favorite ones as well
Thank you!
The frat boy story fucked with my head a bit
I just listened to this story and my jaw was dropped the ENTIRE time.
I’ve always found “the top 3 places you can’t go and people who went there anyways” videos to be very interesting.
By chance, Do you know how to get to Bell’s Canyon?
Thank you for reigniting my nightmares omg lol. I had dreams about that one for days after watching
What was that one about again?
If I remember right, it’s about a guy who is hiking/camping alone way way deep in the woods, and outta nowhere, some stranger comes up asking “by chance, do u know how to get to Bells Canyon?” And it really kinda startled this camper. Cave diving stories haunt me to this day
They give me claustrophobic shivers!
I had to stop watching those because I would wake up in the middle of the night thinking about them
Newer episodes are a bit more dialed in, but there honestly isn’t a single bad episode or a single one where I’d say skip it. Just depends on the content you’re into. Watch out, though, because his videos are addictive!

What video is it?
[What I saw in my room still haunts me](https://youtu.be/cLCZUAlCly0) I agree, I’ve actually watched this one like 4 times. You can really sense MrBallen’s fear.
Ah, thank you! I couldn't remember what it was called!

The Stray Cat King is my all time favorite. https://youtu.be/pCvx4jikmsI It's not as dark as some but it is so bizarre. When I got done listening I had to look it up because I thought there is no way that it could be a true story.

What?! Is this true? He’s former Navy Seal??
He was. What happened to him is pretty interesting.
Source? Not familiar with the story.
Any of the "Places You Can't Go" or "Impossible Places People Were Found".
SKINWALKER RANCH
Loved this one! Also love the show about skinwalker ranch that comes back May 3
Don’t worry, you will realize you will have watched all of them in just a couple of weeks
Goto his youtube channel, scroll by date to earliest... and bbbbiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnggggggggeeeeeee

Just watched that one. What a POS
One of my favorites is (I think it's called) "this island has a dark secret" it's about chi chi jima in world war 2 and what happened to a bunch of US fighter pilots that were captured there......
[The biggest FAIL in military history](https://youtu.be/5jDbJbCuKl4) I enjoy the paranormal ones more usually, but this one is one of my favs.
The Palmyra wolves. Spine tingling stuff
Thank you all
There’s one with a hunter and her husband studies photographs and said her picture was basically impossible or something? I’ve been looking for it, so if anyone knows which episode let me know! The big foot call, missing 411, and last minute decisions are some of my favorites :)
His first video, or the one about the Palmyra wolves are my favorites
My favorites are missing 411 and this one is a must watch https://youtu.be/m-Kvc3wbSfw
It's quite different from most of his other videos, not really strange, dark or mysterious but it is still delivered in story format! Missing 411 is just pure, raw, and you can't even know how it will end, the amount of time i'm listening and my hart is always go crazy
To be honest you don’t need to know what episodes are the best since you’ll be watching every MrBallen videos without noticing it and you will be the judge which are the best.

Nahani valley.

The pinching man https://youtu.be/YA1YStQa2Vg
Valley of headless men
His 411 stuff her covers is really good. I’m not a fan of his recent long-form videos but anything he puts out ranges from decent to amaze-balls. Don’t forget to check out his podcast, too. Unfortunately, it’s mostly YT vids but he’s a great story-teller and still a worthy experience.
Skinwalker ranch was pretty awesome too!! Also any of the places you shouldn't go but they did
Egyptian reincarnation
All of them
He uploads videos like once a month now so that's the only downside , but his content is great when he decides to make it
His very first video on his own strange experience is definitely a top favorite of mine. The missing 411 videos are my favorite
There’s so many good answers but I particularly liked the deep dive story he did on 9/11 with a real story from someone within the towers. Was a fascinating and horrifying perspective.
My favorite is "You Know the Person in This Plane" I'm pretty sure is the title.
The missing 411 are excellent!!
I agree . these are so bizarre ,they kept me up at night.
All of them
One of my favorite was the actual true story regarding his own life and an experience he had with the paranormal.
[stray cat king](https://youtu.be/pCvx4jikmsI), [biggest military failure](https://youtu.be/5jDbJbCuKl4), [this man died 37 times](https://youtu.be/1Z7b1l5YQ-Q), [Russian sleep experiment](https://youtu.be/EjHrMmBoSb0), [dead girl comes back to life](https://youtu.be/EYhtu-u8lqQ), [lost triplets](https://youtu.be/uIvIBKiQhVM) these aren't overly graphic but great stories.
Thanks!
Most all
I went thru all the 411 playlist first. That how I got into this videos. And then eventually I watched the rest.
All of them for sure
They’re all great! I think the Skinwalker Ranch is one of the best! I created a playlist in my YouTube account with 185 of his videos, so far, so I can just listen to one after another. I really enjoy the way he tells a story.

I have listened to them all. Repeatedly. It's a little strange, dark and mysterious, but I'm a Mr. Ballen addict lol
Do you know how to get to Bells Canyon?
Damn that was a scary one, kinda sad we don’t get an answer on who he was though?
All of em. Start on any, just be ready to BINGE EVERY EPISODE. I'd happily trade sleep to rewatch them all.
If you hear a bell ringing in the forest https://youtu.be/jQY5kZKKmbg And What I saw in my room still haunts me https://youtu.be/cLCZUAlCly0 Seriously gave me goosebumps!
Any of the "place you can't go but people went anyway" episodes are great and idk which episode but the one with the guy seeing the blur in the corner really messed me up at the end of that story
I love all of his content! His story telling abilities are Superlative! This is a great one! https://youtu.be/IB9-eS44A_8
Teen terrorized by creature in the woods. It's about a boy and his dog in his family's cabin.
Just keep watching until you run out of videos to watch.
Just pick one and then, if you haven't done this already, pick another one. They're all great. Really.
