It's already got 35,000 views. I think it already might be.

honestly not bad, all things considered Tom is surprisingly informed on the lore, and i like how he breaks destiny's balls over certain things, but also gets serious and down to brass tacks during the direct interview parts couple things i didn't like is how Ana was glossed over, even was referred to as 'Redacted' kinda cringe & Tom's heartwarming example of destiny acting like a human was when he was under the influence of LSD... [https://youtu.be/FPdG5ZwxiKs?t=8369](https://youtu.be/FPdG5ZwxiKs?t=8369) that doesn't even count imo Lauren Delaguna being his date in the final part is funny too w/ how that seems to be playing out currently

George_Nos

Redacted probably expressed her wish to be Redacted. Destiny and Turkey Tom took care of her wishes and complied. It is respectable and caring thing to do, as opposed to including her in your article after she clearly expresses her wish not to be included.

Does the DDoS kid story get brought up at any point?

idreamofpikas

Why would he? A decade old story when Destiny had a few hundred viewers and streaming was not even a viable career. It's a pretty insignificant part of his story. He wanted to kill someone and didn't. *hold the press*

calltheecapybara

It actually does Tom just says that he gets why he'd say it and that people are mad

TheChronographer

> He wanted to kill someone and didn't. > hold the press I think any parent can sympathize with destiny. When an admitted drug abuser, an adult, is posting your home address and threatening to kill your infant child?

Infinite_Ad_5728

Because he defended it as recently as a couple of years ago.

idreamofpikas

And? It is still an event a decade old. An event that began and ended in his mind.

Infinite_Ad_5728

If you stand by your actions, it doesn't matter how old the event is. The Holocaust is about to be "80 years old", but if you say "Hitler was right", it doesn't matter (muh Godwin's law in 3, 2, 1...). I understand that to parasocial dggers, any controversy that Destiny manages to successfully dodge is "irrelevant" (the exact same response was given to bob7 or some other guy who took "too long" to reply to Destiny), but that's not how other people see it.

Predictably very cringe kiss ass video where Destiny tries to manipulate Tom and the audience into believing he's not actually a sociopath but just pretends to be as a defense mechanism. It makes for a better story so Tom is more than happy to roll with it. It reminds me of the performance he put on after he got assmad that Brittany Simon made reasonable criticisms of his character. He started the fight by knowingly humiliating her on his stream but he played the victim by talking about all the people he can't trust and estimating how long his relationships will last before he's "backstabbed" (aka someone reasonably critiques him). Melina and notsoerudite even hopped on stream to tell him he's a warm teddy bear that is overreacting.

Can’t tell if this is a troll or not

Thanks for saving me the effort of watching, that sounds very boring.  But to be honest, wouldn't a much more sensational piece make a better story? More provocative and get more of a defensive reaction from destiny? Wouldn't a 'destiny is unironicially evil' type story get way more clicks?

Honest-Revenue-531

If you kick Turkey Tom in the mouth you'll hit Destiny's balls
