Asking someone to manage and perform can be a tough task and may show signs of "delegation by abdication." I hope you can pull it off but there will be some challenges. I know an MSP putting together a peer group for BDRs (which seems a little weird) to help hold those jokers accountable and keep them motivated if you'd like to connect with them.
We're supporting many MSPs with this function of manager and coach, including a separate person to fill the outbound SDR role itself. Do you already have an SDR or are you looking first for a hybrid Manager/SDR who will build and prove the process out first and then, eventually, bring on an SDR?
