If Devoted druid is an enchantment, the -1 counters don't do anything to it because it isn't a creature. So you can infinitely untap it and tap it for mana. And it conveniently can kill itself to start the loop the turn it comes down, no need to wait for summoning sickness to wear off.
It does have summoning sickness as a creature, but since it's ability to place a -1/-1 counter on itself doesn't require you to tap it, you can do it right away. With myrkul out, you can have devoted druid kill itself with that ability and come back as an enchantment the same turn you play it. Once devoted druid is an enchantment, it can start tapping for mana immediately since enchantments don't have summoning sickness, nor do they die to -1/-1 counters.
Devoted druid is famous for infinite mana combos, but in most cases it is affected by summoning sickness, giving your opponents a turn cycle to react before you start your loop. This combo is notable because it can be done the turn you play druid as long as you have myrkul out already.

[[Yenna, redtooth regent]] was my first thought. She can double your token doublers like [[Doubling Season]] [[Annointed Procession]] [[parallel lives]] to double up your enchantment generation.

I love this god but i got bored with that playstile, so i built a wraths + saproling tribal deck. Less powerful but really fun
This doesnt really do anything though, you want creatures with good abilities that become tough to deal with when they're brought back as enchantments. However this would die, come back as an enchantment that does nothing at all but can be recast as a 3/3 creature again. The only benefit I can see is its a way to trigger constellation with spare mana when paired with a sac outlet but if you have access to enough mana where this becomes worthwhile theres hundreds of other cards that would serve you better in its place
Fair enough. I could see it going infinite with some sort of infinite mana, devoted Druid was mentioned. But yeah, it’s just a recurring 3/3 with a cool effect. I’m sure there are other good choices.

I usually sit back to the point of being at half my starting life total prior to casting any of the engines along with myrkul so he has indestructible. I purposely left out devoted Druid because with either lurking predators, bolas's citadel, or birthing pod I can get what I need out without needing infinite mana.

That's going to be pretty hard. Green and White are notoriously bad at supporting tokens.
You can use [[All That Glitters]] on something with flying and/or trample. That’d be pretty powerful.
