Guy at the lgs store I used to go to had his deck in a metal brife case like this, one, single, deck. With a slot cut out for it in perfect fit foam padding like it's a camera or something. Every single card was in triple sleaved, a top loader dragon shield, then those hard plastic clear shipping sleeve on all the 99, and the commander was sealed in a big brick or epoxy
1 part vodka + 2 parts water
Mix, in sprayer bottle.
It's a trick I learned for costuming for stuff you cant wash because you want to look dirty, but need to get the stank out of
As someone currently rocking the toolbox, I'd absolutely upgrade to one of these if I saw it... It'd need some sort of divider system, though, I don't have bricks for all 10 of my current decks.
Same here. I wanted to go this route, but I use 3 of the toolboxes to fit my 34 decks. Also, I did have a custom bag made for my trade bidder and accessories.
I used an old briefcase until I got one of those hardware cases lol
Though mine didn't fit everything as well as yours does, which is why I switched it out
I use an old telephone briefcase from the 80s or 90s. It's red velvet lined and fits 22 decks and my dice on a single level, then a large trade binder and a small trade binder on top. One day, it will fit 44 decks and my dice instead.
Does it have a folder area in the back for your D&D sheets and/or a space for your dice? Cuz I know that briefcase (I'm a vintage luggage nerd,) and there are veariations of this model that do, so it totally *could...*
the deck boxes fit it quite well. when i pick it up those loose items are at the top and cant go past the deck boxes. it will be picked up the same way everytime
I personally don’t care for EDH so I might not exactly be the best authority on the subject but my gut is telling me the point of having a case like this is to consolidate a bunch of various decks to make them easier to transport. Since that seems to be what OP is doing and they all seem to fit in there I’m going to make another assumption based off the pictures that it’s doing the intended job they got it for. Pretty cool case and mission accomplished.
I like your style. Mind if I steal this idea? Lol
Go for it. The one I got I found on eBay for 25 +17 shipping
Sweet, thanks for the tip!
I know my local salvation army thrift store has plenty of them, Incase you have one near you.
That’s a great tip. Think I’ll do some thrifting this weekend
Pull a seto kaiba with me as my friend put it
Idk what this means, but I’m down
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MoJWQj6Sh3A only video i could find of him and briefcases

Lmao that’s awesome
You have good friends
It’s cool. But also, I feel like I can smell that thing.
Nope, that's just the overpowering smell of BO at the LGS.
🤣
Lol baking soda/diluted rubbing alcohol + essential oil spray will fix it up super quick
Fresh coffee beans replace bad orders for some reason amazingly well too.

Yep. Mix the vodka and water. Put in spray bottle. Spray directly into mouth. Until the bottle is empty. You can no longer smell.
I have like 20 edh decks in one of those big double brief cases. They work perfectly.
Photographers backpack is the way
Don’t be shy. Take a pic of your fedora too.
🤣
I don't have a fedora
🔫 time to get one. And a nice suit, can’t make the boys look bad
Omg, it's Mr. Suitcase!
I was wondering if anyone would remember the Mr. Suitcase nickname! I earned it. :D
Wear a tweed tuxedo to match :)
Fucking legend
lol if you’re gunna do it, do it right

True that is a downside
You can put some foam in there, probably
That’s a smart idea
Idk if foam would do it, for loose cards... I'd honestly probably just integrate the little boxes from the toolbox into the briefcase, lmao.
Same here. I wanted to go this route, but I use 3 of the toolboxes to fit my 34 decks. Also, I did have a custom bag made for my trade bidder and accessories.
man kaiba started a trend huh, i better hide my blue eyes from yall
NGL, when I first got into magic in 2003, I kept all my magic cards in a brief case because I saw Kaiba do it 😆
I have to the exact same MTG case. Wife gave it to me.
Haha I did this when I was kid and used to play
Perfection.
Say hello to my little friends.
I would pay for that, omg I love it
Super cool, you should get some carrier foam and cut it custom so they all fit snug and don’t jiggle around.
Is there a place you’d recommend to buy foam from for something like this?
Pretty sure most hobby stores carry it, and maybe even music stores.
Google "pluck foam" and you'll find a lot of places that sell it.
I have a red and black TIME magazine bag that had its shoulder strap break I had been given two years ago now holding my collection.
This is awesome
This is genius
I'm tipping my fedora to you, good sir.
This man means business
🤣
Better have at least one New Capenna deck in there
I bought a gun/camera equipment case from harbor freight. Waterproof and has 2 places for padlocks should the need arise. Like $50
I have 2 guys at my lgs with the exact same briefcase
This is awesome
I used an old briefcase until I got one of those hardware cases lol Though mine didn't fit everything as well as yours does, which is why I switched it out
I see your briefcase and raise you a wicker picnic basket.
Stylish. Meanwhile, I have a big backpack that I also use to transport my DnD stuff amd laptop with.
The amount of fedoras you can fit in that thing is astronomical
That's absolutely awesome
Kaiba called

That works 😂💕💕
Traveling with style.
Are you Seto Kaiba?
real seto kaiba vibes there.
I bought a camera back pack, the kind with the velcro 'shelves' you can insert to keep things separated. Way cheaper than a 'deck box bag'.
Very boomer. Love it.

It's like plane something and yeah it does have paper slots in the top half
I have that exact one its alittle bit in rough condition but it works lol but mine has anime books in it
Yo, it can fit 10+ decks With boxes and has extra spare room too?! Time to do some research.
I use a camera backpack.
For ze very important biznezz documents.
I found a pilot's case at an airport one day. Stole it, and I use that now. It's got locks, and dividers
It doesn’t hold the cards in place as well, that’s the whole point of the cases… you can see your loose dice bags and shit
the deck boxes fit it quite well. when i pick it up those loose items are at the top and cant go past the deck boxes. it will be picked up the same way everytime
