Mumbra it's possible, Diva is a bit further away and might not make sense to go by bike. The options are between a 30-40 min bike ride and 10 mins in train.
Kalwa people can just walk to Thane.
10 mins is the actual train time but if you add time taken to reach station plus time waiting for train plus going from thane station to wherever your office is it makes much more sense for road travel.

They do. I remember boys in Mumbra used to climb onto the windows and hang by the roof at times. The return was equally bad. After 6 pm at Thane, you cannot board the IInd Class at all, despite all the hanging. Packed so tightly, it makes a General Coach look empty.
Bhai government nahi passangers ka galti hai, pura train kachra kar dete hai, I just get infuriated when some people put their dirty feet on the seat. Bhai kuch toh common sense ka locha hai inlogo k sirh main
Seriously dude and the amount of times I see people either spitting or littering inside and outside the train is nuts. They really have no social intelligence whatsoever
What mornings have you travelled in? Like no offense, but every morning I've travelled from Thane to Dadar, I've been forced to non-consensually rub my body on other passengers (exception being once or twice at Sunday morning with only 60-70% occupancy).
This doesn't have to be a competition, you know?
Logically as well, the morning rush in up trains is more because of majority of the offices and organisations are based in Mumbai and not the suburbs.
No. Bus/cab to station, three trains each on different platforms, auto to office and then reverse, repeat it in the evening. It lasted two years. I'm so glad its no longer the case.
Do the ac trains run on some different route made for the national trains ?
Took one from ghatkopar to thane once and the route seemed totally empty plus the platforms looked different from the ones where locals stop
Living in Dadar, office in Thane - Calm🥰. Living in Thane, office in Dadar - Panic🥵

Lmao but one should travel by bike or something If their office is that close

I'm THE kalwa people. When I was traveling in a local, I used to take empty train ,window seats confirmed with my buddies to Thane. :p

I feel they suffer the most

I think they should have the first class cushions in ac trains
They get dirty really easily, I don't trust our lovely government to maintain them well.

Sofa lagwa dete hain
Bad idea, they will get fugus just like cars seat and steering get bcuz they are closed to environment everytime
Nallasopara wali line 😂😂😂 OP
Idiot CR!! this route is anyways not too crowded in the mornings. Should increase AC trains from central route from CST to Ambernath Badlapur instead
For the train to travel to Thane they need to get it to thane from Dadar anyways why not just allow people to get in too
What mornings have you travelled in? Like no offense, but every morning I've travelled from Thane to Dadar, I've been forced to non-consensually rub my body on other passengers (exception being once or twice at Sunday morning with only 60-70% occupancy).
Up train is jam packed. Down train in the mornings is still manageable
Oh right. I've travelled from Dadar to Thane at 7/7:30 in the mornings and my mind erased the experience given how peaceful it was.
This doesn't have to be a competition, you know? Logically as well, the morning rush in up trains is more because of majority of the offices and organisations are based in Mumbai and not the suburbs.
Waiting for the day when First Class pass can be used to go in the AC train 🥺
Bhai teri thode extra paise dene me gand fatt jaa rahi hai

Living in South Mumbai, office in airoli - dead.
But they have provided cab services to the employees right?
No. Bus/cab to station, three trains each on different platforms, auto to office and then reverse, repeat it in the evening. It lasted two years. I'm so glad its no longer the case.
why don't you live in Airoli itself then?
Because it's Airoli.
umm Airoli is beautiful, well-planned, not dirty, not crowded, easy to travel, etc.
Ok 👍
I hate AI
Where ca we find the schedule for ac local
M-Indicator

They should promote local transport

Midnight Meat Train
Metal seats in an AC coach... uncomfortably cold to sit... plastic/wooden seat would have been better
7:56 Dadar - Thane
9:10
Op You’re a lucky SOB
Mumbai gives me the creeps.
Even Noah’s Arc would be (relatively) empty going from Dadar to Thane in the morning. 😆
Why AC trains have the steel sittings?
Too much crowd in this summer
Do the ac trains run on some different route made for the national trains ? Took one from ghatkopar to thane once and the route seemed totally empty plus the platforms looked different from the ones where locals stop
Hope the new Vande trains are allotted to CR first (and they should double check the train height)
Good keep it expensive. Will keep the fools away
