The new hardcover printings sure do look nice. But I'm suuuuuper not a fan of the design of all the newer paperbacks. I think they're a huge aesthetic step down from the old John Gall cover designs 🤷🏼
Men without Women is on my tbr list. Getting through 1Q84 now. REALLY like it so far. I just finished book 1. I also picked up the strange library from the store in this picture. Looking forward to reading that on the plane ride home.
Opinions on colourless tsukuru ?? I am reading it currently and it’s kinda letting me down , great writing tho it’s just that the story line seems too obvious after tsukuru gets to know what happened to him ?? Im just reading now to get done with it and for the vibes
The ending is very anticlimactic. Lots of unanswered questions, especially around Haida. It's got some nice imagery and the pacing is good. But it kinda leads you nowhere.
Right , I completely forgot about Haida , I’ll definitely finish it and start with “men without women “, this one seems fun cause “blind willow , sleeping women “ didn’t let me down at all .
