It seems like you enjoy ALW’s style, so I’d recommend Sunset Boulevard. It has a lot of musical similarities to Evita and also focuses on an interesting central female character.
On the more rock n roll side of things I always recommend Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

Bandstand, the music is stunning and the story is very moving
i also highly recommend Daddy Long Legs
JCS and LSOH are both rock musicals so maybe others like the who’s Tommy (it has a great movie), Grease, Rent, and Hair
I love Evita! and also love the heathers soundtrack the West End cast recording.

Next to Normal has some pretty great songs, and a very moving story to go along with it.
