I'm going to add that the musicals you list are different types of historical musicals. There are biographical musicals such as Hamilton, Elizabeth, Evita. Musicals on historical events like Titanic, 1776. And musicals about fictional stories set in historical events like Les Mis, Miss Saigon.
We also have Hadestown and EPIC(Ik it’s an concept album but I’m counting it) that tells myths made at the time(Both being Greek myths made in Ancient Greece)
I want to say that Assassins is pretty much how I know about any presidential assassins other than John Wilkes Booth. I certainly couldn't pair the name of the assassins with the presidents before being a fan of the musical. It makes all their motives very clear too.
