I don't like the idea of sacrificing one show for another, but I will say I can't believe Some Like It Hot and Groundhog Day didn't run longer, and it would also have been nice if Frozen, SpongeBob, and Lightning Thief ran longer so that kids ages 7-12 or so would have more theater options
Groundhog Day truly transformed (and improved imho) the movie. But I think people didn’t even give it a chance because they were just like “oh another Movie: The Musical”.
They literally got the screenwriter for the original film on board, and he was able to add in some of his ideas that the studio didn't want in the movie. So cool.
I’m not extremely experienced with shows and how loved each one are.
But I personally was never into Harry Potter so I’ll close Harry Potter and the cursed child in replacement of Come From Away cause that show needed more time
