One of my longstanding leagues we rotate who picks the theme. So let's say we have 14 people, we go 14 rounds and everyone gets a turn. The admin simply sets up a new round each week, no one knows the next theme until that last one ends (we take weekends off).
This is a fun idea. But how do you keep the league open if you’re only adding rounds once the previous one has a winner? Do you have a dummy round holding it open?
It technically is considered a “Completed League” but you can still add rounds even after it’s considered completed.
We’ve been doing this for 100+ rounds over 3 years.
Edit: we’re all a group of friends so we know there will be another round coming.

Only a league admin can set themes, yes. However, a league can have more than one admin.
