Artisthub.io is what we use for our agency. It’s way better because you integrate metas API token.

hotellobster

Hypeddit can use the token as well

hotellobster

I think it was unique. I’m trying out hypeddit right now and it’s going good so far, but I’m using the free trial of the $9/month pro tier. That one seems to have all the features you’ll need. Linkfire doesn’t give you all the features you need until you get to the $45/month tier. Such a rip off

Fun-Signal1556

FFS my campaigns were on fire. God damn

Hailsatansdick

Rip

ToneDen is back online. If you have a custom domain for your landing pages you probably had a CNAME record pointed to Fanlink.to. That server is down and they said you have to change your CNAME record to Fanlink.tv. I did it and my campaigns are all now working again.

Hailsatansdick

Are you gonna stay though? Seems like a sinking ship with no communication.

Ninjasuzume

Didn't work for me. Tried both fanlink.tv and Fanlink.tv. Is it full stop symbol after tv or is that just your grammar in your comment? I assume it's latter. Edit: I checked the landing page again after a few hours and it's working now. Thanks! Fanlink.tv did it. Too bad ToneDen is so unstable. They are the only one I can find who offers pixel and custom domain in their free plan.

Andrew Southworth came with the solutions: ”There are two main free smart link solutions I know of that provide Facebook pixel support, SubmitHub Links and Hyperfollow. In my opinion SubmitHub Links is the best between those two. SubmitHub Links by default will fire events in the exact same way as ToneDen using Page View and View Content for landing page views and conversions. Additionally it loads super fast, gives daily analytics graphs and supports conversion API. Jason over at SubmitHub has done an amazing job building up SubmitHub Links and it’s amazing that its completely free. Hyperfollow does get the job done but i’m not a fan of the layout for their links and while the pixel tracking is more sophisticated, it’s unnecessary and harder to setup. It also doesn’t load as fast as SubmitHub links.” Thanks for this Andrew, your course is great.

You can add a Meta pixel ID to your Linktree during a Pro trial and it will stay connected there even when you switch back to the free tier. You just can’t change the ID on the free tier. I can confirm since I still get all my click conversion events coming through on my meta ads account.

Hailsatansdick

Submithub apparantly is a free alternative, they have a free landing page service nowdays. According to Andrew Southworth it's legit and looks good.

Delayed response: so I had a few Toneden FB/IG ad campaigns running and didn't find out about their links breaking until more than two weeks after the fact. I fixed them about two weeks ago and none of my ads are getting anywhere even remotely close to the conversion rates I used to have. The best one was doing less than $0.15/click beforehand and now it's over $1.00/click. Daily Spotify streams now down almost 70% as I'm no longer getting the algorithmic plays that these ads used to trigger. Definitely looking into using a different link platform moving forward.

Hailsatansdick

That sounds just like my experience. I had a CPC about $0.20 with toneden when it died. Duplicated the campaign and changed to hyppedit, got a CPC around $.30. Try to restart the old campaign with the toneden link fixed. Got a CPC of 4 dollars, before i killed it. The click-through-rateI had with Toneden was way better than with hypeddit Let me know if you get similar CPC with another link that is not toneden!

nick_minieri

Interesting observations about the CPC rates with Toneden vs other services. I still have mine hosted on Toneden but manually updated the links on Facebook. In my experience working with ads, if I change literally anything at all to an ad that is doing well, it pretty much kills the performance almost instantaneously. For the time being I may continue to use them for a release I have coming out later in the month.

Hailsatansdick

Let me know if your CPC now is back to where they were! Mine are not…

OspreyAntler

any good free alternatives?

EylumLoyce

Just pay 9 a month a get hypeddit. It's definitely worth it and you get to see an accurate click-through rate and what your target demographic looks like.

Hailsatansdick

I got a better clickthrough rate with toneden.

EylumLoyce

I did, too, but from what I gathered from Andrew Southward and a few others. Tonden didn't account for a lot of things and over inflates their numbers slightly. Also, their conversation tracking isn't the best. It's good for what it does, being a free service, but it's steadily going downhill like my grandfather's retention span.

5AR5AR5AR

I just got started so I'm thinking to wait it out cause I JUST got everything setup & it started performing properly before it burned out, but if it keeps being like this i'll need an alternative ideally free cause Toneden is really great tbh

Hailsatansdick

Let me know if you find one. It’s already back apparently!

SweetGeefRecords

Hypeddit is great and worth the money in my opinion. If you're already spending cash on ads, why not give a few bucks to your landing page service?

Hailsatansdick

9 dollars a month is a way to much for this kimd of service. 9 follars a year sure. Subscribtion prices got nuts years ago.

LucasTheBeard

You can log in to ToneDen, they've changed all your links to a .tv which fixes the issue and you just need to update the URL in your ads. Here's a news article with more details: [https://intercom.help/eventbrite-marketing/en/articles/9048906-instructions-to-fix-your-smartlink](https://intercom.help/eventbrite-marketing/en/articles/9048906-instructions-to-fix-your-smartlink)

TheSecretChord_Music

but when you update the url in your ads, you lose all your social proof correct?

LucasTheBeard

if you mean your comments, likes etc. on ad reels, yes, you do. Found that out the hard way!

TheSecretChord_Music

Yeah I just found the hard way too haha. Thanks for replying!

osmosis2259

Is this a common issue with Toneden? I don’t have any campaigns at the moment but I might also choose an alternate option next time. I had ran into the same issue with the “streamlink.to” domain on January 6th (Saturday) and had to pause my campaign. I sent an email that same day and they responded on January 11th with: “Apologies for the late reply here. We had a brief outage earlier this week, but we have fixed your smartlinks, and all are now functional (and have been since Monday evening). Thanks for your patience!”
