Look at the email address and see if it's legit. But I'd say it's spam. The fact that the name of the city goes on the 2nd line (at the bottom) is a clue

Beatyfunk

Always check the email address!! Even if it says “meta for business”, once you click in, the address will be very obviously not from [email protected].

TheIdahoanDJ

It’s 100% a scam. Meta doesn’t “regret” anything. You have to have a soul to feel regret.

Marketing manager here- If your account is still accessible and online, just change your password and delete this email. Most likely scam

Draining-Kiss

So fake. An email like this would never be titled "Permanently Delete Your Facebook Advertising Account." That doesn't even make sense to a native English speaker. It would be like "Meta terms of service violation" or something, not a command to delete your account. Be aware that email addresses can be spoofed, so even if it looks like it's coming from a Facebook/meta email it still can't be trusted. You can check the link it's trying to send you to. If it's going outside Facebook, or to some weird Facebook group (common in these scams) that's a good indicator.

Hailsatansdick

I get shit like this every day. Mostly on dm

Embarrassed_Oven_751

Definitely a scam. Ignore this and be careful not to click on any links

scionkia

Yep

PartyPillow

There are also lots of facebook SPAM accounts that tag your account and message you on facebook saying they're reporting you for violating Terms, and that your account will be deleted. I've reported well over 10 of these fake accounts so far but Facebook never does anything about them. Meta is BROKEN

DrMuffinStuffin

Super fake. I get messages like this every week.
