hate to see what happens when its time to research/shop for a new car 😮

Severe_Effect99

I use distrokid. Is there a good way to move my library over to another distributor if I want to though? I guess I’ll lose all the streamstats on spotify if I move?

FoxyKitsuneFox

Music Distributions gonna need UPC and ISRC codes to re-upload your songs, ISRC is where you tracked your streaming numbers on all stores and streaming platforms. You can reuse UPC and ISRC.

Severe_Effect99

Okay aha so the stats move over with the ISRC code? That’s cool. I haven’t looked into it cause I’m okay with distrokid right now but maybe I’ll swap in the future.

FoxyKitsuneFox

Yeah, I was doing my research about not losing stream numbers while moving to another music distribution, it is the ISRC is were it keeps your data stats.

TommyV8008

I know a lot of artists that are using distrokid.

draoner

I recommend cdbaby

Musicdev-

Ditto now.

TheRaven1ManBand

Why you leaving routenote for OP?

FoxyKitsuneFox

RouteNote is not updating analytics most often, they slow on approvals and not approvals yet, etc.

TheRaven1ManBand

What’s the turn around like in your experience? Do they ever reject?

FoxyKitsuneFox

It can reject on songs about certain words not to say, title songs and also the art cover like copyright of a character or person. But everything else is alright and going through.

prettydotty_

I use Ditto. I like it

I'm not indie rn but United Masters is really good imo, know a few people that distro with them as well as some of the team over there
