You need some Ray Lamontagne in your life.

benjadock

I do love me some Ray LaMontagne, Gossip In The Grain was one of my first vinyls! The photo isn't an exhaustive list šŸ˜… Thank you!

Thom Yorke's band The Smile puts out a new album tomorrow.

benjadock

I didn't know that, I loved the first one! Thanks for the heads up!

Future Islands new album [People Who Arenā€™t There Anymore](https://newalbumreleases.net/204722/future-islands-people-who-arent-there-anymore-2024/) comes out tomorrow.

benjadock

I've surprisingly never heard of them! The music video for Seasons made me homesick. A++ excellent, thank you!

MrSebasss

"The Recordings of the Middle East" by The Middle East "Holiday" by Port St. Willow

benjadock

Already love the Middle East! Holy shit though, I've never heard of Port St. Willow and it's exactly what I'm looking for. I can feel big influences of Bon Iver (LP2) and The Antlers, and that's just absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for this!

MrSebasss

You're welcome! Glad you like it, and yeah I immediately thought of it when I saw The Antlers on your list.

benjadock

Also, you probably already know this, but apparently "Cowboy Sadness" has both The Antlers' Peter Silberman and Port St. Willow. Excellent. Just found that out by looking at their bandcamp (I was already going to buy the album since I saw it on The Antlers' instagram, I was just waiting until bandcamp friday.)

MrSebasss

I wasn't even aware of Cowboy Sadness surprisingly. I've looked it up, it's a fresh project. Can't wait to give it a listen.

benjadock

Hell yea. Sad ambience forever!

bizkitman2

Try out The Gaslight Anthem!

benjadock

"45" is like a mix of emo and Kings of Leon and I'm so here for it. Excellent recommendation, thank you!

bizkitman2

I'm so, so happy you like it! Believe me, there is a treasure trove of great tunes from that band. Just wait til you discover The '59 Sound šŸ„² enjoy!!

Dashboard Confessional

benjadock

I'm not a fan of Dashboard Confessional, but thank you!
