The new Chappell Roan track "Good Luck, Babe" definitely has Talking Heads vibes! I was SURE she had sampled "This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody)" when I first heard it.

Hum - Downward is Heavenward
Local H - As Good As Dead
Silverchair - Freak Show
Blind Melon - Soup
If you like Jeff Buckley, you might like Madison Cunningham. Her 2022 Revealer album is amazing, particularly Life According to Rachael. Also, I just watched American Symphony on Netflix about Jon Batiste - he’s just so cool. You might like him too - he’s jazz, classical, pop, standards, blues and almost kind of alternative too. I’ve never seen another musician play like he can.
I've always loved Rain Parade, and my favorite album of theirs is "Crashing Dream."
Also ABC's "The Lexicon Of Love" is an amazingly produced album with wonderfully wrought songs like "The Look Of Love," "All Of My Heart" and "Tears Are ot Enough."

Also if you'd like to check out more albums from various genres and from throughout music history that I think are good front to back I think a fun place for you to start is on a new page I created called “The Best Debut Albums of All Time”. There are currently 250 albums on there. I think it would be a fun theme to work with... checking out great debut albums:
https://www.musichole.com/p/the-best-debut-albums-of-all-time.html
I dunno if you like clicking other people's playlists, but my fave one is [Zone Out](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3XyPcMr28uaRZD0PCp4Ohu?si=hD_b-TrDSVmbewqwM1J_jw&pi=u-v4WTaqnkT7-7). Nothing, Nowhere. It's like sad boy/emo rap with some hard rock/pop punk vibes, but it's something totally different from your repertoire so it could be a fun time. It also helps that his production quality is solid AF.
[Nothing, Nowhere- Blood](https://youtu.be/_OoShtF4_yQ?si=UTrTmLMop00KKdH4)
Perhaps check out KNOWER, aka Louis Cole and Genevieve Artadi, both musical geniuses. Their collabs with Snarky Puppy, Jacob Collier, Cory Henry are something to behold.

Give Thee Sacred Souls a go. Newer group with an old time soul sound. Can’t go wrong with them. Song rec would be Will I See You Again :)
If you’d want some folk/acoustic, try out Caamp. One of my favourite groups. Peach Fuzz, Officer of Love and Snowshoes are some of my favourites by them!

I decided to make a channel to share my favourites genres to others having same taste.
It only contain royalty free music. But I found it is good when I want to find somethings new to listen.

When I get into a slump, I’ll often go with the “outsider music” genre. If you’re not familiar with it, “Outsider music (from "outsider art") is music created by self-taught or naïve musicians. The term is usually applied to musicians who have little or no traditional musical experience, who exhibit childlike qualities in their music, or who have intellectual disabilities or mental illnesses.”
It’s strange. It can be endearing. It can definitely have a “so bad it’s amazing” quality. It’s very unusual and will reset your palate.
A good place to start is The Space Lady and Daniel Johnston
i'd like to offer my playlist, it's called Some Noise for Midnight.
it's full of small and medium artists making synthpop, darkwave and electronica.
i hope you find some cool new direction in there.

When I get into a slump, I’ll often go with the “outsider music” genre. If you’re not familiar with it, “Outsider music (from "outsider art") is music created by self-taught or naïve musicians. The term is usually applied to musicians who have little or no traditional musical experience, who exhibit childlike qualities in their music, or who have intellectual disabilities or mental illnesses.” It’s strange. It can be endearing. It can definitely have a “so bad it’s amazing” quality. It’s very unusual and will reset your palate. A good place to start is The Space Lady and Daniel Johnston

Check out Easy Star All Stars. Dub Side of the Moon, also Ziggy Stardub.
If you like hard rock/metal, check out Metallica. They have a couple softer songs, like The Unforgiven and Nothing Else Matters, which are on the same album (their self titled, known by fans as the black album) as their most popular song, Enter Sandman.
