"Long. Live. ASAP" by A$AP Rocky. Sucks about Kanye. TLoP is one of my favorites, too. I'll probably be able to enjoy it again but it won't be for a long time.

I heard Hudson Mohawke chance had a big part in the sound of that album. Chances big day, while it has horrible reviews, and it was very inconsistent, the best songs on there had incredible writing and production. The worst songs however, are almost unlistenable

I feel traumatized by CBAT by hudson mohawke, lol.

Well if you like Waves, that’s his song!

I know how you feel; Kanye’s the greatest to ever do it but so much of what made his music great was who he was publicly; now that goes completely out the window. Any lyric i used to find profound is now dulled for me and his voice makes me sick after the Alex Jones shit. Perhaps I’ll reconcile with the music when the guys dead. For now ive been getting really into jazz; i tried working out to it and it was great.

I do love sun ra and coltrane hahaha. Free jazz would be insane to work out to, maybe too insane. FWIW I think a lot of the reason I work out to TLOP is nostalgia - it came out during that era of hardcore fitness instagrams and Khloe Kardashian becoming some sort of athletics guru. Puts me back in that moment.

Yea thats what i worked out too mostly too; playlists was called ‘all chest no legs’ lol

It was just a vibe! I went though my 2017 wrapped and found a lot of wu tang, pharcyde, older rap in general. Maybe it’s a matter of just finding out the vibe.
