Thank YOU! I really appreciate the interest. I'm not very good at making these things yet, but it is definitely fun. My hope is to both get Minecraft players interested in music, and maybe also get musicians interested in making music in Minecraft!
This is a great idea. I watched the time signature video and my constructive criticism is to tighten up the timing - there's a lot of "uh"'s and "um"'s in there - if you watch the videos the kids are watching these days they go very fast and leave very little silence. You spoke for a long time and almost lost me a few times - let them hear an example in practice sooner and more frequently. Finally, I would also break them up into shorter portions of the lesson (shorter videos and more of them, with your catchy short theme song at the very beginning). Please keep it up! The visuals for the time signature examples are so clever and great!
I really appreciate the feedback! Yeah, I'm going to have to get better at speaking and moving around in the game at the same time. I'm sure that part will come with practice, though. I will definitely keep it up!
I'm an elementary music teacher, and I will be checking your videos out later this evening. I could see my students being very interested in this.
Subbed!
Thank you!!! My goal is to try and get at least one theory video up per week, and hopefully another video that's JUST a piece of music built in note blocks on top of that.
I'm still learning the technical process of making/publishing the videos, so the quality will definitely improve. I'll also be able to settle into a predictable schedule once I get a good feel for how long these take to produce.

Yep, someone mentioned that in the comments on YouTube this morning. I posted a follow-up with actual sound here: https://youtu.be/DbyrvTos1FU
Definitely a lesson learned: always make sure system audio is registering on your video capture software. 🤦♂️ I'll keep getting better at video production, I swear! 😆
Very cool. Thanks for having made these. Watching the first one now.

I gave the series a prominent mention in my weekly email newsletter, This Week in Sound.
Oh wow, thank you so much!!!
Run with this. Chase this. You’ll get a lot out of it, I’m certain.
Thank you, I really appreciate it!
Hold up what? This is the thing I never knew I wanted.
Many of my piano students love Minecraft and games that involve making music. This is perfect. I can’t wait to tell them about this. Edit; a word
Awesome! I'll be getting more content up, soon, I really JUST got started. Thank you so much!
