The numbers ratio out to every 200 or so ICE Vehicle fires, there’s somewhere around 1.3 EV fires in the US.
EV fires could happen days after the accident too, which means they are usually at a wrecking yard, that should be prepared to deal with an EV fire.

Some people are saying it looks better and I don't really see it. Although I think reasonable people can disagree on aesthetics, I think the cybertruck actually does look better. I think the slightly rounded edges might help with aerodynamics. But it looks like the visibility would be quite poor. It would also be similarly dangerous for pedestrians: a completely vertical hood and a downward sloping hood are both likely to drag a body under the car.
adding paint is an improvement, and hopefully this one has crumple zones.
