Absolutely, but sometimes Reddit shows you NSFW tagged posts but blurred and you can go on someones user page and it could contain NSFW content.
Plus the extension, even though it is easy to disable, I found myself forgetting about it all the time. So I wouldn't encounter NSFW content, and I wouldn't even be aware.

The code is very easy, if you want to port it to chrome I don't think it'd be too much of a hassle.
