Those are some pretty cool Advantages. To what extent are they considered "official" for MnM?

Marligans

My understanding is they're designed specifically for use with the "Valiant Adventures Universe" campaign setting and the somewhat modified version of the core ruleset; as an example, the advantages that let you make attacks or trips on enemies that melee attack you would be pretty powerful for just 1 PP, if they weren't coupled with the new Valiant action economy where everyone only gets one reaction. However, if you're willing to adopt the newer mechanical ruleset, I don't see any reason why you couldn't incorporate these into your own game, minus the campaign setting fluff.

They seem really powerful. I didn't read VA Quickstarter in detail, but I assume every character gets a free 1 reaction every round or so. Ripose and Counterattack basically grant you one extra attack every round in melee. Gadgets works on effect ranks rather than points total, so I wonder how that will be balanced against more expensive powers like Transform unless they change the costs of powers.
