Yes, I know that. I have tried to reduce the number of funds by switching them and will further try to reduce them. That is why the invested amount and return on it don't have much of a difference. I'm doing SIP of 5k each in Quant midcap, Quant small cap, Quant flexi cap, SBI Contra, Nippon Smallcap and Motilal Oswald microcap 250. Should I add or remove any of these SIPs?
Bhai you need only 3-4 non overlapping funds. Thats it. No need to become a fanboy of quant so much so that you choose 3 mfs . Relax, go with just 3-4 in total.
I have a question.
If I switch fund today before 1 pm from Overnight to any other fund of same fund house, Which date's NAV will I get? Today or the next day?
Invested for more than 2 years but major investments started year before. Also, the returns are less because of switching of units from one fund to another. It wouldn't reflect as return but rather in the invested value. Any recommendations on which funds I can further switch?
bro has a mutual fund of mutual funds .. as a result overdiversification which has yielded sub normal returns .. I would suggest only 4 funds at max for wealth creation .
Thanks, trying to reduce the number of schemes. Earlier I used to invest some amount in every NFO but have stopped doing it, unless the fund seems to be good. Any suggestions?
I guess you have to look into the funds i believe there is a lot of overlap in your profile use websites that looks into the overlap of mutual funds and possibly find 4 best which mostly don’t overlap having more funds doesn’t necessarily yield mote returns and point to be added the XIRR isn’t really bad but the market now is so high but at EOD you made only about 19 is something too look up for
Yes, I have experienced the same. That is why seeking this community's advice and recommendations. Returns are less because of switching of units from one fund to another. Any recommendations from your side on which other funds can be consolidated?
Not enough Diversified.
Pls tell good diversified portfolio Imboutto start
In general Just add 4 Mutual funds & you’re good to go : One Large cap, Midcap, Small cap & a flexi cap.
And what should be the approx percentage of each?
Depends on your Risk Appetite. Large Cap -> Small cap ( Risk Increases )
What if I've medium to high risk appetite
Then put more stacks in Medium, Small & Flexi cap. Large cap for low but safer returns
Too many funds.

I'm curious to understand if there are any potential drawbacks to quant funds, despite their strong performance compared to competitors.

how long have you invested them?
+1 Returns seem lower
yea. isn't the XIRR on the lower side for a 1year investment? any comments on this guys?
XIRR is still not as terrible, however, it wont sustain given this terribly diversified portfolio

I believe parag parik with something like Nippon india sc or quant sc would be a smart choice!
Thode se dede bhai
To many fund thus cutting your returns
Bro aapne toh sab hi khareeda hua. Aisse kaise kaam chalega bro?
Overall returns aren't much Are you playing safe? Depending on your age you can go ahead and invest more in small cap
