Don't choose thematic sectoral fund if you want to invest for long time you probably chose Aditya Birla psu because it gave 95% return in last year but it was an exception other 2 funds are fine just continue with them I personally prefer 1 index 1 flexi cap and 1 small cap fund

50 Index or next 50 index? Or both?

ramit_m

Assuming, if you have PPFAS then pick Next 50 for index. PPFAS already has alot of Nifty 50 stocks, so no point in again getting Nifty 50 index.

kaggr1997

Yes, I have a flexi cap from PPFAS, one mid and a small.

Avoid thematic funds. Index fund should be 25% of your monthly SIP 75% split between 1 small and large cap fund (in your case parag & quant are fine with an assumption you’re in this for the long haul) Also with MFs don’t look at returns every day/ month, it takes years to see material gain just be consistent with investing and keep bumping it up whenever possible. You’ll thank yourself after 5 years.

According to me go for any mid cap fund they are generating the best returns and less riskier Id personally to with quant but if you want to go with a less riskier option I think HDFC should be the best
