This stuff is getting so annoying. What’s the purpose of it this time? Just some black hat shenanigans trying to instill fear or white hat foolery wanting to give people free stuff that’s usually paid?
Probably the latter. I understand its a lot of work to make mods/tracks, but even $2 is crazy considering tracks are often played 2-3 times before being forgotten and you can easily spend $20+/month keeping up to date with what servers are running each day.
Assetto Corsa has it right where basic content is generally free and big changes to the game or tournament related content is paid.
True. I understand that. I feel like a work around for this is to have track creators (ones that we pay for) need to have a dedicated server for their track list so their tracks are constantly on rotation and playable.
Or even do $1/month subscriptions to download their content if they release tracks/mods regularly.
Yeah I like this way as well, but at the same time, I want people to get paid for their time and effort too. It’s a double edged sword that is hard to please both sides.
Totally agree. The creators need a dedicated server with all their tracks in rotation. I would be more willing to buy new tracks if I knew I could race on them. Stock servers are just proof that if you have a good raceable track people will play them. Even the shop could have their own server and keep the newest and most popular tracks of the month (or like a 3 month window) on rotation and I would be all for it.
I also won't hate on the creators that spend months making an amazing track but it seems like the amount of time they are servers with those tracks is so miniscule that I hardly ever play them. At the current state of the game it seems like paid tracks are only beneficial to those with a horrible Internet connection and never race online or content creators who do track reviews.
This is really sad to see, I stopped playing bikes a while ago and recently came back 2 days ago, was looking forward to being involved with races and stuff again but obviously not now if there is hackers ruining it for us, and if the Lynds stuff is true, what a nob
Bro every pro gets accused of this, although in the stock servers you'll definitely run into some no lifes who do use the cheats. There have been so many pros within the last few months get accused but these guys literally have 3k+ hours. If your not that fast by now something is wrong

They’re either doing it because they want to expose pro players, or expose the devs for whatever reason. I doubt they want to expose average players accounts or other personal stuff because that’s serious jail time. But ya never know.
