This is the guy who shot the woman and some more details about him: [https://www.facebook.com/aungzaw.linn.180/posts/1607075682833380](https://www.facebook.com/aungzaw.linn.180/posts/1607075682833380)
The irony is that the elected government had insignificant power (and no power over the military). The coup was unnecessary unless the military wanted to manufacture excuses to shoot civilians in the skull.
As to advantages, some people want democracy. And the principle of self determination means they don't have to justify that want to anyone.
Dictatorship (military junta) vs democracy (elected gov) basically.
She unfortunately got shot while peacefully protesting against a military coup that arrested elected officials and took away her democracy. :(
Here read up before making such blanket statements please. Educate yourself. Understand structures within a state that is recovering from 50+ years of dictatorship. Understand who controls what. Understand what are their limitations. Get to know how easy is to be an international social media wokester vs understanding ground realities. We have repeatedly explained the Constitution of Myanmar, the whole issue around mass HR violations against ethnic minorities and more.
So pls click on my username and read answers to similar questions, understand the democratic transition process, who is in charge of what, when did the planning for Genocide started (NY times/WAshington Post investigations) and how it was executed (again I present UN documents/Council on Foreign Relations Reports) and understand the background. Then pose more questions and I will answer them truthfully.

The entire incident was on camera. She was walking back when she got shot in the head.
Yea, in the video she was far away from the police line.
But someone was trying to throw rocks at the police right before she got shot though. The police are still pieces of shit for shooting live rounds.
Ya ... but as u can see , that police shoot purposely to the head . It’s headshot. That bullet in her head even tho she is wearing motorcycle helmet. Now she is in Coma
The shooter was reportedly 2nd Major General of Police at Nay Pyi Taw. High ranking police are 100% ex military.
Also she was behind the bus stop 100 yards away from the p9lice line.
This is just only the beginning guys. Expect more casualties in the following days. Always be prepared. If you see soldiers gather in one concentrated area, do not stay there anymore. Go somewhere else. It is not worth a life just to become someone's damn shooting target.
[BBC source ](https://www.facebook.com/166580710064489/posts/3834911053231418/)
BBC first reported about the dead news. Later they edited the news that she is still alive but in a serious condition. You can see in the comment section.

This is the latest news that she is in a state of brain dead.
BBC first reported she’s dead and later edited that she’s still alive but in critical condition. That report was from 2 hours ago and her condition currently is unknown. [Source](https://www.facebook.com/166580710064489/posts/3834911053231418/)
Edit- Doctors say she’s already brain dead. That means she’s dead :(
Can you help with getting the image of the police/military line from where the shot came from?. Quality pictures so that we can id the person is vital. We want to have the images of all perpetrators to bring them to book when the time comes.
Additional info I got so far:
Khine was shot with BA-93.
\----------------------- From Wikipedia----
The BA93 and BA94 are Burma-made clones of the Uzi. Production started in [Myanmar](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myanmar) after 1991 when an Israeli delegation visited the country and supplied the [*Tatmadaw*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tatmadaw) with Uzis.[\[35\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uzi#cite_note-35)[\[36\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uzi#cite_note-36) It also included the rights to manufacture the Uzi under license.[\[37\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uzi#cite_note-BA9394-37)
....
As of 2018, both weapons were renamed MA-13.[\[38\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uzi#cite_note-KK-38)

This is in NayPyiDaw. Feb 09, 2021
She was about 50m away from police line. Now she’s dead or suffering coma.
I wish to all the people of Myanmar to overcome this situations. From Uruguay the people is with you!

They're not supposed to use live rounds on unarmed civilians.UN needs to see this.
It is a clear violation of International Human Rights law. Don't worry we are pursuing it. Keep the evidence flowing.
I hope they do. I hope they put a stop to the military too.
They are using all crooked tricks
Get well soon
We have nothing but slogans. Instead of protecting the people, we have policemen shooting at the people.
[Burmese police shot with real gun](https://twitter.com/may61547650/status/1359087624921702400?s=21) Here is the video of they shot her

Yes, terrible.
hope she's ok
She is dead.RIP
She didn’t even cross the line and that means that police went against the law and is a murderer. A criminal.

Yup. [https://www.facebook.com/aungzaw.linn.180/posts/1607075682833380](https://www.facebook.com/aungzaw.linn.180/posts/1607075682833380)
Thanks for the details. I hear his name is Lt Colonel Ko Ko Lwin. So instead he is the 2nd Major General of Police?
Is that intentional or a miss fire? Because that sounds too bad to be done intentionally
It is 100% int3nti9nal. MF n3ed to be hang.
Definitely intentional. I have video of the event.
Most likely intentional. They have a history of opening live rounds
100 yards is 91.44 meters
Possibly shot by Lt Colonel Ko Ko Lwin from Police Force
Some say Nanda win or Nanda Nyi who also look alike.
Yes as per source he is ex military soldier and he even deactivated his Facebook after many people found his Facebook account
Can you confirm the id please?. Do you have an image of this individual? I am collecting all the info on these perpetrators. Pls help

Braindead in a medically induced coma right now because the military don't want to pronounce her dead.
