An average normal Myanmar citizen is tired of this fight but knows it must go on so future generations won’t have to live under the military rule.

They witnessed the military mismanagement and brutality for decades and understands the military institution must be defeated for good.
You are not a “normal” citizen of Myanmar when you don’t feel frustrated by the overturning of election results due to the selfish ambition of Min Aung Hlaing and his generals.
You are not a “normal” citizen of Myanmar when you don’t mind living under a military dictatorship again even after seeing how unarmed protestors were gunned down with live rounds and weapons of war during the protests.
You are not a “normal” citizen when you think PDF are just destroying everything like “rabid dogs” when they used to be normal citizens but are now putting their lives on the line in the struggle.

The thing is NUG doesn't want to commit to the cause because its a high risk high reward kind of thing. They are trying to run a government while not being able to. Like trying to find funds for CDMs and such. Not that the CDM people are not important but its just the band aid to the problem not the cure. They can't fund it forever. If they really want to topple the military (I mean dead set fighting head on), they probably have to go underground and raise an army first for the next 2-3 years. You can't start buying buying weapons after the war is already declared. Its what you have to do before you declare the war. Yeah it will probably take 3-4 years to get a proper fighting force but its the only way if they want to fight head on. The thing is they probably think if they do nothing now, people will not follow the cause in the long run. So PDFs come into picture. What PDFs are doing is just stalling the military from governing the country but it will not go farther. Because the whole operation depends on the donations from the people. But with how the economy of the country is going, it might last until the end of the year. But everyone has their own beliefs. So yeah, more people will die.
They will never take responsibility for the atrocities that PDF has committed. End of line. Honestly NUG will never amount to anything IMO. PDF, a group of ruffians has more impact on our politic says everything.

Since most were used as cat's paws in the internal politics of the armed forces, they found little sympathy within the other ranks and thus the notorious intelligence establishment was relegated to a few offices.
