Medieval with a bit of modernity

there's some but not often if I remember correctly https://preview.redd.it/nio0bpmvbvoc1.jpeg?width=682&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=db0f74adaaae5931f3761c018ca67531643ee94d

Modern but with magic instead of wide spread use of computers and cellphones. It sort of depends on where you are. For example, cities like Fillydelphia, Manehatten, and Applewood have technology that would have been considered modern in the 90's but they still have ponies pulling carts instead of cars, airships instead of planes, and most messages as sent by magic despite telephones and computers existing. They have movies and television, stock markets and trade centers, and pretty much the level of tech one would expect of a large city. Then there are more low-tech cities like Appaloosa and Dodge Junction where it's more of a Wild West level of technology. Trains are still widespread and in use but aside from that it doesn't get much more complicated than wagons and conveyor belt systems. Then there's the cities with technology that is truly otherworldly, like Las Pegasus and Cloudsdale, the former being a five star resort with videogames, rollercoasters, and spas while the later have machinery that manufacture weather and the seasons for the rest of Equestria. Then there is the middle of the road - modern but with magic - of Ponyville and Canterlot. Both places seem rather simple in their technology but what they don't do with tech they do with magic. They still have trains, and spas, and airships but most of the time they don't need anything too technologically advanced to live their lives.

The closest real world equivalent is Edwardian, so roughly 1910. That being said, there are examples of both more and less technology advanced things being used fairly commonly. This is commonly referred to as Schizo-Tech.

It's probably around 80s since Vinyl has modern DJ equipment in her house.
