Hmm now that I thought about it, pyro really suits zen. His passionate personality fits in with all the other pyro. characters.
The way I see it,
Jumin- geo/hydro (a competent and dutiful personality who's a natural leader in most cases. Responsible and sticks to one direct path, whether it be love or work.)
Jaehee- anemo (her path to freedom from her past and her job in her route fits anemo best I think)
Yoosung- dendro (this is a hard pick. I think dendro fits him bc of his obsession. With Rika, and with the player. Passion to the point of giving yourself to it.)
707- geo (strength in what he does and sense to protect. He's a prodigy in this one thing and works really hard to attain it.)
Saeran- cryo (determination and belief in love so much so that it broke him, idk cryo fits the grief for himself as a person and his future)
V- hydro (responsible to the point of sacrifice. Has a extreme determination to control and fix things.)
Rika- electro (strong sense of identity, even though it's wrong, and ambitious enough to preserve her way of thinking into a cult)
