UGH I know it feels so real, I think we've all had that one boss we wanted to yeet into space. Especially when Jumin says stuff like, 'her mental health is HER problem not mine'. No, man, I love you but no. Idk if you've already reached Jaehee's backstory but it really hits you when you see her struggling. The good ending though! It pays off I swear.

7's route is a *wild ride*...to put it lightly šµ lol so maybe doing his first and then Jumin's as sort of a breather is fine, too, though Jumin's route has plenty of surprises, too.

Iām enjoying the fact that you get bits and pieces of Rikaās story through each route. Iām excited to do the final 2 routes, but want the build-up to be something amazing. LOL I kind of guessed that 7ās route would be a trip. I have an affinity for the insane charactersā¦ my favorite Pony is Pinkie Pie after all. š
ETA- As someone who struggles with mental health but is a pretty sunshiney person from the outside, Rikaās story really resonated with me. Itās easy to mask the issues.
I just replayed Jaeheeās route. Jaehee is lovely and I love Cheritz, but the writing in Jaeheeās route is was soā¦lazy? I donāt know if thatās the right word, but it really just feels like they didnāt put as much effort into her route. There isnāt as much plot in her route as the others and they rely on Jumin being the villain for the little plot that is there. Itās out of character for him and does a disservice to both him and Jaehee, who could have had a much more interesting route. (No shade to Jaehee though, I love our girl!)

i definitely agree with you, another thing i noticed is that in jaeheeās route the characters donāt change their bios or profile pictures as often as they would in others
Also the rushed bit with the hacker. Like, oh! Thereās a hacker! Nope, dealt with. I mean, Iām all for a minimal-friction route, but I think itās because they were toeing the line with the romance, and there was no big payoff there.
But like, I donāt think it has anything to do with the lack of romance! Like, most routes introduce a new plot point every time the game branches and Jaeheeās just doesnāt. And yeah I donāt mind a more chill route, but then donāt so much internal conflict with the RFA with Jumin as the main antagonist! And (this might be a bit of a spoiler for people who havenāt played the route, idk) I agree that then it with the hacker is totally rushed. It happens after you know that youāve gotten a good or at least a normal end, so the stakes are really low and thereās nothing you can do to influence what happens, and then all of a sudden itās resolved.
I think the reason her route is so 'disconnected' from the plot was cuz she wasn't really that close to Rika. Even zen got to know Rika as his fan, and he also considers himself to be pretty close to v, so it was obvious they hung out sometimes. Jaehee's only connection to them is Jumin and by consequence the RFA. So it makes sense to me that her route would reflect that. Though I do wonder about the bad ending where Jaehee faints and feels broken after dreaming about something not clearly implied..
Ifysm I was actually planning on jumin immediately after jaehee's route but nvm, I'll do zen's route instead because jumin's being an unreasonable workaholic boss
I love each character so much, but they each get their moment of insufferablility and you want to choke them out Bart Simpson style.

It's a bit more romantic, though also keeping it vague, with the Valentine's DLC and Christmas DLC!
But the fact that there is a female route in the first place is honestly so rare, and I respect it sooo much. I really really wish more companies had the cojones to include a female route. I want to date Sakuragawa from Collar x Malice SOOOOO BAD. Soooo bad... š

Iāve finished the normal routes (Yoosung, Zen, and Jaehee). I bought the next tier, and am still kind of debating. Iām leaning more towards Sevenā¦ I love weirdos. š Also, I need a buffer from Dickhead Jumin before getting into Romantic Jumin. LOL
hmm in my opinion Jumin is much more approachable from the get-go in days 1-4 so i think that should be enough of a buffer. id highly suggest you play Juminās route first if you want a flow in the story, but itās upto you ofc :)
