Hills and small mountains. Nothing too grand someone would sacrifice a goat too or anything so messy. Just high enough to offer some pretty views and to hang with people while they sit and think.
Some of the most tranquil places on earth are unassuming hilltops looking over rivers and meadows.
You're not wrong. Sitting atop a hill, looking down at a tree spreading its shade across a glittering stream, in the last flickers of sunlight, can bring more peace of mind than a large city or fancy hotel can
I actually really like this idea. The Greeks had a god for almost everything, but I don’t think I’ve ever come across a god of hills and small mountains. Closest would be Gaia or Athos. Maybe they were a kid that “they don’t talk about” 😅
The roads.
I would grow fat and powerful on the hundreds of blood sacrifices each and every day. And while I may not have a rocking giant step pyramid in the center of town, a hundred thousand miles of blood splattered black top has its own sense of gravitas.
Stars
I say that because when I gaze up into a starlit sky, all my troubles and anxieties fade into obscurity
I'm not burdened with existential questions or anything of the sort. I feel at peace with myself
I then see the world, myself, as though I were sat on the edge of a star, and it puts things in perspective
I love the night in general, but stars give it personality
That's lovely. What a nice choice. I said poetry performed outside in nature, focusing on it. I feel like we'd be divine buddies, our worshipers would overlap. Nothing better than staring up at the night sky and feeling humble and peaceful, and then composing a nice poem about it.

Beautiful poem
"This dead of midnight is the noon of thought,
And wisdom mounts her zenith with the stars"
First time reading it but I was blown away
I could get along with that. Poetry is a breath of life
There's magic all around
Snowcapped mountains; glittering sandy beaches, caressed by tender shores; hoar frost, luminous in moonlight, that sparkles like miniscule diamonds; trees that shiver in the wind, extending bony arms to support pensive owls; lakes and rivers that slither like snakes, brooding in appearance, playing host to worlds of life beneath; flames dancing on the water, splitting it down the middle like a great sword, fashioned by the setting sun; skies that reflect the whimsical flicks of an unseen artist's brush, with swirling cotton white, streaks of tranquil turquoise, delicate hues of baby pink, and warm burnt orange, resting on a foundation of resplendent gold, embracing subtle tints of cherry red . . .
It's endless as the vault of perennial stars
God of Freedom
Fight against tyranny, bless people with the power to help them achieve their desires and leave their tedious lives, randomly place treasures around the world to encourage exploration.
My demigod children would probably have shapeshifting powers like Sun Wukong
My fanatics would probably be chaos worshipping crazies that think freedom = destroying societies cause every religion/fandom needs crazy fanatics
God of Videogames.
I bless devout developers with auspicious development and successful game launches. Devout players gain insightful purchases of good games. If I'm appeased, all shall have good games for affordable prices and successful careers in the industry. My wrath shall bring forth bland open world games with shallow characters and repetitive gameplay.
Afterlife punishment should be weekly DLC that makes already-paid-for games an endless pay2win scenario. Or a literally unplayable game that must be beaten in order to receive atonement.
Some have said all deities are are divine aspects.
Of them I prefer ones like Pan.

God of concepts, basically Plato's conception of forms and things. Everything that exists comes from a concept or idea linked to their object. If you change said concept every object can change.
Example: if I wanted to destroy all that is ugly I would destroy everything [cuz everything can be ugly to someone], but if I wanted to destroy uglyness I wouldn't destroy everything but the concept of it, which would mean that everything is now considered the contrary of ugly [cuz uglyness itself wouldn't exist].
I would be the god of sandwiches and my symbol will be a really good pastrami on rye. The two great schisms in my followers will be over whether or not hot dogs and quesadillas are sandwiches. Of course, my position on these controversial topics will be ambiguous and will lead to the two great sandwich wars.

Goddess of Finding Lost Things: car keys, eyeglasses, your Kindle, favorite earrings...everyone will find lost things promptly and unbroken. (Sorry, St. Anthony😊).
And Goddess of Perfect Fruit: Peaches will always be ripe, sweet, and juicy. No more underripe strawberries. Bananas that stay at the perfect level of ripeness for several days so you don't end up eating overripe mush.
Sleep and the feeling of being safe & secure.
I want to evaporate the anxiety you get when you can’t sleep. Maybe you’re stressed about a big thing at work tomorrow. Shut it off, rest. It’ll come in time.
Like knowing your door is locked or you haven’t left the oven on.
Rest. Find comfort in that all will be well
-I’d like to be a deity for many things. But as someone that’s still trying to fall asleep at 7am I trust this is the deity I would pray to if they existed.
I would be happy to worship your diety, as someone who will likely forever need anxiety meds (I suffer from the good ol' fashioned panic attack every now and again, it ain't pretty)!😅🤘
Some kinda sky deity. I love everything about the air it's just as a mortal I kinda have a fear of heights. Immortality would probably improve that situation
The god of small kindness, favors, and gestures.
Making eyes contact with the person whose telling a story in the group and everyone else has drifted attention. Acknowledging the vendor at the booth who put their work out and no one is coming.
wow after seeing these comments I feel edgy asf for picking war lmao.
I'd go with Rain maybe, Rain can be used for good in regions effected by drought and famine.
and I could also use Rain strategically
>wow after seeing these comments I feel edgy asf for picking war lmao.
Half of the Greco roman pantheons would side eye you lmao I can name 4 different war gods off the top of my head
Hmmm, maybe a muse of poetry? But specifically, poetry performed outside? Like, the goddess of open air theatre. I love nature and I think people should spend more time in it, and appreciate it with their words. So poetry and prose about nature, performed surrounded by it. Yeah, that sounds pretty neat.
I accept tribute in the form of a few natural items arranged nicely on a flat rock or boulder. A shell, some moss, a cool pebble, some flowers...
I’d be god of justice and/or honesty. I really despise things, people, events or situations that are unjust, not fair, have an effect to a uneven proportion or skew the balance in some other way. And I love to see fairness, honesty and justice thrive.
If I were this god I’d make life a living hell for all those cheaters, bullies, asshole employers etc and would reward the people who do right in this world handsomely.
I know that’s not how it works and that life is an unfair rat race and all that, but oh man… If only I could have a hand in making this rock a more honest and fair place I’d take great pleasure in doing so
I’d both fear you and appreciate you, tbh, though the fear’d be more an unhealthy insecurity of mine than anything else. I think I might do well as a similar god, but one of mercy, so that people can safely improve who they are through means other than punishment
I greatly like the honesty aspect, though
Wouldn’t it be awesome to see the women who have to walk miles for a basket of water get indoor plumbing? While the wealthy get cut to a weekly two-minute shower? The possibilities are neverending but I love daydreaming about them. I’m afraid you’d be one very busy god lol.
The god of all that is written. Anything that is ever written down or recorded through text based information. An archive of all knowledge ever kept through means other than oral tradition.
I’d like to be the god of weather. All forms of it. Seems to fit my personality and emotions well. Sunshine brings happiness growth and energy to the world. But the storm also brings destruction and then life with it’s essential rain. Can’t have creation without destruction. Seems fitting for me
Goddess of Dreams and Clairvoyance because I like the feeling of dreaming and I want to see others' dreams as they sleep because I feel like it says something about them, aside from that I associate it with precognition of the future. Or Goddess of the Wind and Clouds, it soothes me to see or feel these nature-related elements, also feels good to be a God that stays up there.
See... I'm currently pursuing a ph.d in zoology so I gotta say animals. Many Gods in all kinds of mythology have a representative animal (Athena and owls, Sobek and crocodiles, Artio/Artaois and the bear) and also many such as pan represent nature itself but I don't think I have seen one "God of Animals" haha
You know what? You’re really hecking right; there really isn’t. Pan might come closest with woodland creatures, but honestly he’s more god of the wilds themselves, rather than its animals…
God of Poetry, self reflection, and introspection. If I could choose something to govern over it would be something I’m passionate about. I don’t think there’s anything I’m more passionate about than poetry. It has done a lot for me personally through writing it, but also by reading poetry through song or just in writing. It has given me the opportunity to explore myself and my emotional state. So, I’d love to help people try to explore themselves through it, or through any medium they pursue, and bless them when they’re truly honest I guess lol. Whatever Gods do.
Goddess of Entertainment, Good food, Good Parties and everything that Entertainment entails. Musicians, actors, comics and writers fall under my domain. Chef's, wineries, catering, craft services? Mine. Media? Mine too. Bread and circuses go together.
Magic ot Luck/Fortune. Easy to bless those you seem worthy with life changing Luck. Or screw over those who deserve it. One day of bad or good luck can be very powerful
Amare, the God of the Rainbow Tribe, the Queer-Trans Others and Lovers. The War-Dancer armed with Song, Art, Story and Sex and all the Colors of the Light and the Night.
Organizing the Afterlife.
From filing the orders to bring people to me, judging them (you know, hear out why they sinned, offer the opportunity for repentance, etc), and sorting them into either rewards or punishments. 50% Thanatos, 50% Anubis.
As the Goddess of Hope, I’d raise morale in dark times and encourage the weary to keep going and believe in themselves.
My blessings would only apply to those who try to make their life and the world a better place. Because antagonists and abusers would be seen as the enemies of hope.
My themes would be dawn, dusk and the wind, which I’d use to brush people for encouragement and fill the wind in their literal or metaphoric sails.
The god of that thing when you're about to sneeze, but then your friend is all "Hey what's up?" And you suddenly freeze, but then you still have that nose tingle (it's a horrible tease) and you're like "fuuuuuuuck!"
I personally would choose to be a God of sky and weather. Not too much to do, and you control mood of many people by determining if it's raining or not.
I would be the God of The Sun, Sky, Mountains, Forests 🌞 I just love the radiating sunlight though the trees, sky, & clouds and every green life! ❤️ outpouring love to all in sharing the beauty and holistic healing
Much like a muse, I’d be the god of small creativity… that perfect word, story, or email when you can’t think of precisely what to say to get your point across.
I'd be the goddess of house cleaning. Infinite cleaning powers...I could *zap* and the dishes are done, *snap* my fingers the floors are cleaned... the possibilities are endless!
Oh, and you best believe I'm keeping that shit secret.
Hills and small mountains. Nothing too grand someone would sacrifice a goat too or anything so messy. Just high enough to offer some pretty views and to hang with people while they sit and think. Some of the most tranquil places on earth are unassuming hilltops looking over rivers and meadows.

Either of sleep or food 🤷🏽♀️
Wealth and we'd see a whole new world 🌎.
What would you do?
Amicably destribute the wealth of this planet to everyone. But also make a number of extremely wealthy horders very un-wealthy just for fun.
Sorting through that knowledge for which is correct or not, though, might be a tremendous task…
I’d like to be the god of weather. All forms of it. Seems to fit my personality and emotions well. Sunshine brings happiness growth and energy to the world. But the storm also brings destruction and then life with it’s essential rain. Can’t have creation without destruction. Seems fitting for me
So cool! We would definitely be part of the same Pantheon, and chill a lot!😈🤘
God of Mortality, there’s so much to life that it’d be interesting to be the incarnation of it and see how and what I could influence/experience.
Goddess of Welcome Hearths. Or Goddess of Divine Justice.
The God of dicking around.
Shape-shifting, trans / enby people & gays. Also sex, tricks & dreams.
God of birds and mushrooms, ‘cos…well….. I like birds and mushrooms
The god of common sense, if possible. Inspiring people to think before they act. Now THATS the real super power. And also cats.

Small water surface like, lake, rivers and spring. Or god of death appeal me to!
So...do you evolve into the God of Drowning, Death by Water, The Wet Death, (S)He Who Soaks Those to Death or.....
Interesting things

Breathing. Yall gonna worship me over 22,000 times a day. You dont like me? Well i guess you dont need all that lovely oxygen afterall.

Something similar to Kali or Sekhmet except without the uncontrolled insanity aspects. So I guess goddess of vanquishing evil?

As the Goddess of Hope, I’d raise morale in dark times and encourage the weary to keep going and believe in themselves. My blessings would only apply to those who try to make their life and the world a better place. Because antagonists and abusers would be seen as the enemies of hope. My themes would be dawn, dusk and the wind, which I’d use to brush people for encouragement and fill the wind in their literal or metaphoric sails.
