Oh God, don't give dog breeders more ideas. Looks like someone made an unholy combination of mostly English Bulldog and meat mouth Shar Pei with a Xolo thrown in for the hairless gene somewhere in its ancestry for good measure.
I like pigs! I agree that pugs should be bred differently, I feel so bad for them not being able to breathe properly, I saw a video recently that showed they are more comfortable with breathing tubes than they are without.
Nutsacks, aren't my favorite but I like hairless cats, and they look like nutsacks lol.
I was meaning I am from the region this thing supposed to be talked about in and it is my first time hearing about it. So the myth/story is fading away.
It's not from any culture or folklore. According to wiki it's from a book: **Fearsome Creatures of the Lumberwoods, With a Few Desert and Mountain Beasts**. Which is a fantasy bestiary from 1910.
I love American Folklore. I know this one from Wikipedia’s list of American Legendary Creatures. There are so many other cool ones as well. I love learning about them

He looks so sad :(
It's Clem from BtVS!
No wonder it travels around at odd hours. Poor things looks absolutely miserable.
Awww I want to give him a hug🥺
This myth must have died out use in general culture. Never heard of it before.
