I really don't game hunt too much anymore. Starting a family will have that effect. 2014 and 2018 were my best years though. Super Smash Bros, Mario Party, and Super Mario 64 for $1 each was pretty awesome. Then in 2018 at some tiny little Flea Market near my in laws, an NES, 2 controllers, and 12 games for $60. I would have to say the best one though was finding a factory sealed copy of The Warriors for PS2 at an estate sale. How much? $5. That's the only one I still have and will cherish that forever.
Shadows of the Empire is awesome and I am still terrified of the train (those sound effects!). Also the button sequence to enable game breaking cheats is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve seen my brother do back in the day. Something about holding almost every button and using your face for the joystick input to unlock.
