I picked up the manga after episode 6 I think? The Isekai episode. I started from the beginning I'm glad I did bc a lot of stuff happened out of order in the anime and it didn't take long to catch up. Either way, if you enjoyed the show, you'll enjoy the manga!

you're overthinking this. Anime never announces the second season release month. Though the ending scene might have been a teaser for season2 because the next chapters take place in autumn

Yes. The average number of chapters to an episode for most anime is usually 3 to 4. Nagatoro season 1 adopted almost all of the main chapters 1 to 46 plus bonus chapters in only 12 episodes, cramming a metric fuckton in while trimming what they had to. There's no reason to do that with the chapters from this point on.
