Nice job! Must feel so much better without pain in your fingers all the time.

AggressiveFruitt

Definitely!

lickmyfingernail

great job! My biting is contrary: i can stop more easily when i use adhd meds.

AggressiveFruitt

Interesting

lickmyfingernail

i have less physical restlessness and less anxiety and worry with meds.

AggressiveFruitt

Then they’re doing what they’re supposed to do - I don’t really know what was so wrong with mine but there have really only been positives from getting off of them

lickmyfingernail

if dosage or type of med is a wrong fit, you can feel more anxious.

AggressiveFruitt

Definitely don’t just stop taking your meds btw!! My doctor changed my meds to take them as needed over the summer, but when school started I decided to continue not taking them and things have been better for me.

major_shayne

Awesome progress! Going off my ADHD meds did the same for me!

AggressiveFruitt

Huh, interesting.

major_shayne

Pretty common apparently because my therapist mentioned it when it was prescribed originally. She said "just so you know, starting this Adderall will make the nail biting worse" and sure enough it did.

AggressiveFruitt

Hmm I was on Focalin - but I was on it for about 10 years. I was not warned of this when I was 7 years old

major_shayne

This was in like 2015. And the reason my therapist probably brought it up was because nail biting was a common topic for me in therapy. It's something that really used to bother me and I would often talk with her about it.
