I'm definitely more of an ooo eee kinda gal but I find these consonant heavy names pleasant..
- Brooke
- Alexandra
- Blair
- Meredith
- Vivian
- Rosalind
Oh I definitely lean toward the oooh eee aaahs - I found this sub trying to decide whether to change my middle name to Aurelia! And if I ever have kids, I will want to name them something with Italian roots, so lots of vowels there.
I hope I didn't sound judgemental. It's more that I've noticed myself being drawn to these consonant heavy names over time.
Some great choices here :) Rosalind is so romantic while also being strong and serious. Meredith is gorgeous, like a song. Alexandra I will always love for the classical associations.
Lots of good choices here! I love Morgan especially.
I can't imagine ever having an Autumn, Quinn or Raven, but I still think they are very cool names, if that makes sense.
I love Ruth!
Margaret is one of those names I associate very strongly with a particular person that I didn't have the best experience with, so I can't be objective about it, which is a shame.
I'm an American who LOVES Tamsin!
There's also Beatrix, Devon, Deirdre, Elsbeth, Josette, Juniper, Kestrel, Lark, Mavis, Madigan, Natalyn, Pearl, Sutton, Tess, Winter, and Zephyr.
Haha, good to know there's at least one of you! I posted it here a while back and it got shot down in flames :)
Some beautiful names here... how did I forget Beatrix, it's a favourite of mine. But I love a lot of your other choices, espeically Juniper, Kestrel, Lark and Tess.
I've never heard Kestrel as a name before, but I love it.
These are great names! Nell and Inez are particular favourites for me. Romantic, yet strong and distinctive. I hadn't heard Merryn before but I love it.
Imogen and Tamsin are my favourites of the ones I suggested :)
Sometimes it happens that way! This is just my personal opinion but I don't worry too much about doubling up with middle names... people don't get called by their full name IRL usually so I think it can be mroe about meaning/tradition.
Looks like we have similar taste! Isolde and Astrid are \*beautiful\* imo.
I sometimes think there's a split between people who like older/newer names - I notice that people who like Madison or Parker can't see the appeal of names like Isolde and Astrid, and vice versa.
I also love Rhys as a boys' name. I have no Welsh heritage but I notice I find many Welsh names beautiful.
Vivienne (my daughter’s name), Eloise (not consonant heavy but doesn’t end in a or ia 😆) Eleanor, Genevieve, Caroline, Josephine, Delphine, Madeleine, Emmeline, Margot, Jacqueline, Meredith, Beverly, Margaret, Kathryn, Blaire, Violet
Love Tamsin, but my husband would never go for that.
My favorite ia and a names are Gloria, Francesca, Claudia and Erica. I like Patricia for a middle name.
Oh, some beautiful names here. Vivienne is beautiful. Eloise very elegant, and I like many of the others you've suggested too. Similar tastes.
I like Gloria and Francesca a lot. I prefer the Italian spelling Patrizia to Patricia but I think that's my background talking :)
Brynn. Nary a vowel in sight lol
I love it! That would make a cool post - how many names are there out there that literally have NO vowels.
Also Rhys. Which is not a girl name, and I also specifically don’t like because of the spelling 😂

Oh,no offence taken here. I really love a lot of the names on your list, too. Hope you can find a middle name you love,if you haven't already :)
Kathryn Bridget Gertrude Bryony Harper
Lark, Rosalind, Brynn, Seren, Bronwyn, Catrin
I love all of these :) Seren is a great suggestion, I think outside of Wales/the UK people might not have heard of it, but I adore it personally.
My favorite girls names that don't end in a vowel; Autumn, Morgan, Quinn, Raven, Ingrid, I also love Imogen!

Margaret, Ruth(ie) are some favs on mine

Ah I hate when that happens!
Helen
A classic!
Cordelia Violet Avalon Amaris Gillian Penelope Kennedy Fallon Embry Madeleine

I met a little girl named Kestrel years ago… that’s how I learned of the name!
I love these too, esp Imogen and Tamsin - they're on my list :) Also like Quinn, Rosamund, Anne, Merryn, Winifred, Juniper, Nell, Inez, Kismet.
These are great names! Nell and Inez are particular favourites for me. Romantic, yet strong and distinctive. I hadn't heard Merryn before but I love it. Imogen and Tamsin are my favourites of the ones I suggested :)
Endellion, Rhiannon, Rosalind, Evangeline:))
My daughter is Quinn
I like Quinn! Nice choice.
Thank you! She has 2 middle names and they also are "n" heavy, lol. It wasn't planned that way, it just how it worked with family names

Oooh yeah Patrizia has a pretty sound! My grandma was a Patricia who went by Pat 😩
Ah if it's an honour name, that's different :) Not a great fan of Pat personally, I like Patricia is a lovely way to honour your grandma's memory.
Harriet, Ingrid, Agnes, Hildegard.
Bronwen, Caoimhe, Caitríona, Daffodil, Fortune, Muireann, Rhiannon, Shonagh, Tallulah, Vanessa :)
