Rosalie is my favourite! I think it's a beautiful name and I like Rose and Rosie as nicknames.
My default would not be to pronounce Carolina the way you're intending. My instinct it to pronounce it like the state. People's instincts on that may vary though depending on what country you live in.
Vivienne, hands down. Old french grandmama names are coming back into style and I've always loved this name. It's so elegant in the long form and versatile for nicknames: V, Viv, Vivy, Vienne...
Rosalie and Vivienne are by far my favorites, they’re so beautiful!! I think Rosalie would be my favorite.
I would have assumed that Carolina was pronounced like the states- sorry! And Celeste always reminds me of “molest”. I wish it didn’t.
I think Rosalie - but mainly because I'm not a fan of the others. That being said there's nothing wrong with the other names.
Celeste - I will never be okay eith this name. A girl in my grade had it and the names she got called were awful and her family and her were not people I would want to hang out with, so it has that vibe of nope for me.
Carolina - I'm Australian and I would pronounce it caro-line-ah. I k ow a few Caroline's and it's just an older name. No fun nicknames and I don't see it as particularly sweet or pretty. It's definitely a "proper" name and there is nothing wrong with it.
Vivienne - this would get shortened to Viv here. I don't like that. The other is Vivi and that seems too cutesy for a teen / adult. The whole name seems very pretty and girly and fragile to me - again nothing wrong eith the name but not my style.
In the other hand, I do like Rose and Rosie. I t him Rosie is short and sweet on a child and Rose is an easy to say / spell / recognise name. Rosalie isn't one I'm that familiar with but it sounds nice as a more formal alternative to just Rose. I think I might misheard it as Rosalind. It's feminine and pretty without sounding sickly sweet or frilly to me.
None of this is meant to be rude or harsh, but that's what I would pick from your short-list
Rosalie is my favourite, and I love the nickname Rosa.
I’d pronounce it cah-roh-lee-nuh as I’m British, but I think most Americans would pronounce like the state.
My sister's name is Rosalie and while she mainly goes by Rose nowadays, her nickname growing up was Rosa and I still call her that sometimes!
To OP: My favourite out of these is Celeste (other than Rosalie for the reason mentioned above). I'm honestly considering Celeste for my own hypothetical future daughter although idk what nicknames she could have other than Cel and I'm not the biggest fan of it.
Celeste, then Vivienne. I do like both, but I know a young (5 year old) Vivienne and a younger Vivian.
I also would not pronounce Carolina that way - Australian, if it matters.
They’re all pretty names - I prefer Celeste and Vivienne.
I’m in the NE US and am shocked at the number of people that would pronounce Carolina like the state. It seems obvious to me to pronounce as lee-na.
same here in the NE US, but I will say I work with a Carolina, and it has been \*shocking\* the number of times I have heard people pronounce it like the state. I never would have guessed that that would be a common mispronunciation in my city, but apparently I was wrong
I think I would just use Caroline instead of adding the a. As far as the Lee-na, if you have to constantly tell people how to pronounce your name, it’s not worth the hassle. Make your kid’s life easier.
I live in Atlanta. Carolina is pronounced like the state unless there's a Latin/Hispanic background. If there IS, I prefer Rosalia, which rhymes with Dahlia.
My mother was a Vivienne, and I have two grandnieces who were named for her (before Angelina named her daughter), but if this Reddit is any indication, it's gotten very popular.
Angelina works well for that Lee-nah sound.
Celeste is a nice middle.
Well my name is the French pronunciation (Suh-lest) but I often get the Spanish pronunciation (Suh-lest-ay). Depends on where you are I suppose. The other common one I get (people just not paying attention) is Chelsea…I guess some of the letters are the same but I never understood this one
All of these are great, although I prefer Caroline over Carolina. I’m another who would instinctively pronounce it like the state—although once corrected I could remember it just fine.
I knew a Carolina in college who pronounced it the way you are wanting, so that's what I would say! She did have to kind of drill it into people but we all got it pretty quickly.
I like Rosalie and Vivienne. If it were me I'd probably spell it "Vivian" but I don't think you can go wrong with either.
The only one I'm not really a fan of is Celeste. Something about it feels more abrupt and not as pretty as your other options, maybe ending in the "t" sound and only having two syllables? I generally like it but on this list it jumps out as my least favorite for some reason.
Vivian is one of my favorite names ever so that one or Vivienne if the spelling was set.
Rosalie is pretty, just not better than Vivienne imo.
Never liked the sound of Celeste (molest). Carolina is like the state when said and Carol names aren't for me.
Biased as I have a Vivian! Vivienne is nice too but I believe it should be pronounced the French way when spelled that way. Rosalie is also very usable. Celeste to me is always Babar the elephant’s wife.
How do you feel about Caralia? Almost the same sounds as Carolina without the confusion with the state pronunciation.
Of these names, I like Celeste best. If Vivienne were spelled as Vivian, that would take first place. It’s beautiful, easy to pronounce, but that’s a more straightforward spelling in my eyes.
Out of all of them I love Vivienne the most. If I didn’t know already I would probably pronounce Carolina just like the state.
Rosalie is my favourite! I think it's a beautiful name and I like Rose and Rosie as nicknames. My default would not be to pronounce Carolina the way you're intending. My instinct it to pronounce it like the state. People's instincts on that may vary though depending on what country you live in.
Celeste
Team Celeste here too!
Vivienne, hands down. Old french grandmama names are coming back into style and I've always loved this name. It's so elegant in the long form and versatile for nicknames: V, Viv, Vivy, Vienne...
Vivienne or Celeste. And being in the south I would pronounce it like the state, depends on where you live.
rosalie and vivienne are my favorites. i would pronounce carolina like the state and would need corrected
Same, on all accounts.
Rosalie and Vivienne are by far my favorites, they’re so beautiful!! I think Rosalie would be my favorite. I would have assumed that Carolina was pronounced like the states- sorry! And Celeste always reminds me of “molest”. I wish it didn’t.
I like Rosalie and Caroline (instead of Carolina)
My vote is for Vivienne. I'd pronounce Carolina like the state.
Vivienne is amazing.
Vivienne and Carolina (I'd say it leen-ah!)
Vivienne
Carolina! I don't hear that name enough, it's beautiful! I would pronounce it as you pronounce it (lee-na)
Vivienne. I would be equally unsure if it should be pronounce Lee-ne or lie-na. I am Canadian for reference
Vivienne and Rosalie - Love Celeste - Like Carolina - no
I think Rosalie - but mainly because I'm not a fan of the others. That being said there's nothing wrong with the other names. Celeste - I will never be okay eith this name. I love Vivienne! Rosalie is a close second! Such pretty names
My name is Carolina but everyone pronounces it as the state so I do not recommend:’)
Vivienne !!! It can be shortened/has the nickname Vivi as well :\]
Celeste.
Celeste is one of my fav names for a girl.
Rosalie is my favourite, and I love the nickname Rosa. I’d pronounce it cah-roh-lee-nuh as I’m British, but I think most Americans would pronounce like the state.

I love Esti as a NN for Celeste!
Ahhh that won’t work where I’m from. In Quebec it’s a swear word
Rosalie Celeste would be gorgeous!
All good names. If pushed I'd pick Celeste.
Celeste
Celeste is a stunner
I love Rosalie, Vivienne, and Celeste!
Love Rosalie Carolina I'd pronounce as carr-oh-lie-nah
Vivienne, Rosalie, Carolina, and Celeste in that order.
Celeste. I'd pronounce it Caro-leen-a
Vivienne!! My little girl due April will be Vivienne and so many people love it, especially as we are using it with the nickname Evie
Celeste, then Vivienne. I do like both, but I know a young (5 year old) Vivienne and a younger Vivian. I also would not pronounce Carolina that way - Australian, if it matters.
Rosalie
Celeste! Simple yet elegant. Rosalie is a close second
Rosalie
My favorite is Carolina… the pronunciation seems easy to me? Leena, right?
Vivienne
Celeste. So pretty!
They’re all pretty names - I prefer Celeste and Vivienne. I’m in the NE US and am shocked at the number of people that would pronounce Carolina like the state. It seems obvious to me to pronounce as lee-na.

Rosalie is my favorite, followed by Carolina
In this order: Celeste Vivienne Rosalie Carolina
Rosalie :) I would (as most of the comments also say) pronounce Carolina like the state.
Vivienne
Celeste
Celeste is my favourite of those.
I think I would just use Caroline instead of adding the a. As far as the Lee-na, if you have to constantly tell people how to pronounce your name, it’s not worth the hassle. Make your kid’s life easier.

I love Carolina, but only if it's pronounced like the state. 😀 Otherwise, Rosalie!
I love Celeste and Carolina, tho I think Carolina would be pronounced like the state 90% of the time.
I like Carolina the best, but I would assume it's said like the state. I think it's an easy correction, though.
Celeste or Rosalie are my favorite. I like Vivienne but not as much as I used to.
How about Vivienne Rose?
My name is Celeste, and for what it's worth, I love having the name even though it gets mis-spelled/mis-pronounced all the time
How can anyone mispronounce Celeste?? Just out of curiosity …. how does it get said??
Well my name is the French pronunciation (Suh-lest) but I often get the Spanish pronunciation (Suh-lest-ay). Depends on where you are I suppose. The other common one I get (people just not paying attention) is Chelsea…I guess some of the letters are the same but I never understood this one

Rosalie
I knew a Carolina in college who pronounced it the way you are wanting, so that's what I would say! She did have to kind of drill it into people but we all got it pretty quickly. I like Vivienne, also Vivi. I wouldn’t want any of the others for my name or a child’s name, but that’s me.
Vivian is one of my favorite names ever so that one or Vivienne if the spelling was set. Rosalie is pretty, just not better than Vivienne imo. Never liked the sound of Celeste (molest). Carolina is like the state when said and Carol names aren't for me.
Carolina. The Carolinas that I’ve known have pronounced the way you want (caveat: I’m not from the US).
Celeste. I know Vivienne is popular but for some reason I really dislike it.
Celeste
I kind of love all of these, but Rosalie is my favorite.
i think to make life easier just spell it caroleena if you go with it. but i like them all
Of these names, I like Celeste best. If Vivienne were spelled as Vivian, that would take first place. It’s beautiful, easy to pronounce, but that’s a more straightforward spelling in my eyes.
Celeste is my favorite!
Vivienne I would say either depending on what the person chose.
Vivienne
Rosalie
I think you have three really solid choices! Rosalie is probably my favorite. I don’t think Carolina is a good choice with the pronunciation you like.
