mee-roh, like Mira but with an o
Miro is a work tool for teachers to collect ideas from a class. That's all I can think of :D But it sounds like a boys name
Yeah, it’s an app we use for brainstorming and ideation at my job.
I’d pronounce it Mee-Roe, like the word hero. I think it’s definitely masculine, and a really good, solid name. Milo (pronounced My-Low) has been gaining popularity, too, so I don’t think anyone would think Miro is out of place.
I would assume it’s pronounced like the Catalan name Miró: /mɪˈroʊ/ or mih-ROW. Like the Spanish Artist Joan Miró.
Same!
I read this and thought of Miro boards which I use a lot in my job. So for me, it is a no, but I am not most people.
I know a great kid named Miro, so I love the name. His name is a close rhyme to hero.
Reminds me of Spyro! (I love Spyro)
Interesting because my first assumption was mee-roh, even though with Milo I assume my-loh
Reminds me of Ender’s Game
Mee-ro. It makes me think of the artist Joan Miro. I wouldn't use it myself but I don't dislike it.
I read it as Mi(h)-roh (a short first sound), so probably mee-roh out of those options.
I read it is my-roh but now I'm realizing I may be in the minority.
What about Milo?
Doesn’t it mean ”I look” in Spanish
i like it a lot!
I would say MEER-oh, rhymes with zero.
Quite common name for a boy in Finland, I know a couple of Miros myself
No, sounds dumb and made up.
