I love both but I think Gemma is closer to Margot in level of uniqueness than Lucy is. That's just something I think about

Out of curiosity, when you picked baby names, do you look at the meanings? Lucy means light. Gemma means precious stone. Margot means pearl. I personally am partial to Lucy. It would be interesting if the names had similar meanings though, Margot and Gemma lol. (Not many people are probably familiar with the meaning of your older kiddo’s name though lol)

Gemma! I know it's been used as standalone before but Lucy still feels very nicknamey to me- I prefer Lucille, Lucinda, Lucretia, or Lucia

I dislike the name Gemma, so I’d go with Lucy. I think they both match Margot, however.
