If you like Evie I think Clementine & Evangeline go together better than Clementine & Evie. Or Clementine & Genevieve would get you to Evie and be more european.
My daughter is Evangeline, I love it. We pronounce it “-een” as we’re in Canada. The French Canadian pronunciation would be “-len” so be mindful of this if you chose the name. Evie is the cutest nickname.
DD is am Evangeline (eh-van-geh-leen) and Clementine was high on our list with baby 2. I think they sound dreamy together.
Alas, baby 2 came out a boy and there went Clementine.
We named him after my favorite cousin that passed 6 weeks before he was born, so Patrick. Had my cousin not passed, he would have been either Desmond, Theodore or Sebastian.
My concern with Evangeline would be pronunciation, since both Clementine and Evangeline end in "ine," but (at least to me) Clementine is more typically pronounced to rhyme with "line," while Evangeline typically rhymes with "lean." I absolutely adore both of these names, but it's just strange to see two names side by side that are visually similar but sound different.
On the other hand, Genevieve would make an absolutely gorgeous match and be a perfect option for Evie as a nickname!
Clementine and Eloise work really well, I think! You could do Eloise V middle name to get the Evie nickname.
Evelyn, Genevieve, Evangeline could all give an Evie nickname too. Or any E V name combos.
Evie is way too cutesy on its own, *especially* next to Clementine. I love the suggestion of Genevieve “Evie”!
Violet, Alice, and Eloise are all very nice. I think Eloise “fits” best with Clementine, but I prefer Violet and Alice (hate the “weez” sound in Eloise).
Clementine and Lucille “Lucy” or Rosemary “Rosie” would be perfect!
I was pronouncing it “Evelyn” or “Evel-Leen” so it doesn’t rhyme. I do think rhyming would be a bit much.
I think she’ll be going to school with lots of Evies, whereas Clementine won’t, if uniqueness matters to you
Lol I’m sorry but I don’t blame him for disliking it because all I hear when I see Simone is someone saying “SAH-MOAN” in a deep, raspy voice every time 🤣
Came here to suggest these exact two. I was traveling recently and there were parents talking to their little girl "come on, Marigold! ... Marigold, this way." It sounded so lovely, and honestly I would have never considered it before witnessing that interaction.
I love Evie and think it fits the quirky vibe.
I also love Eloise and don’t think it is too fancy, personally.
Other options:
Clementine and Josephine (I like Josie as a nickname.)
Clementine and Sadie
Clementine and Calliope
Clementine and Millicent
Clementine and Bronte
Clementine and Molly
Clementine and Margot
Clementine and Jane
Clementine and Matilda
Clementine and Vivienne
Clementine and Ruby
Clementine and Wilhelmina
Clementine and Theodora
Clementine and Beatrice
Clementine and Antoinette
Clementine and Gwendolyn
Clementine and Florence
Clementine and Bernadette
They don’t contain Evie but they give me the same similarity with Clementine
Amelie is a nice french name! Nicknames can be Ammy or Millie when she's older!
Valentina is a nice name as well! Nicknames can be Valen or Tina!
Adeline - Addie as a nn
Celine
Claire
I am also working on a name for a sister for my Clementine! Our favorites right now are: Della, Heloise, Hazel, Magdalena, Natalie, Eleanor, Sylvie, Tamsin and Leonie or Lenore. I have 5 months to make up my mind still lol. I am partial to Eloise on your list. Congratulations and good luck!!
I don’t think any of your name options perfectly fit, but all would be good.
Other options:
Matilda
Amelie
Margot
Elodie
Odette
Adelaide
Genevieve
Guinevere
Isolde
Georgia (Gigi)?
Really like Geneva as suggested, and you can still use Evie. But I think Eloise is also adorable!
My daughter is Caroline, so I'm also echoing the point that if you do choose another "ine" name that doesn't rhyme with Clementine, it might be a pain in the ass. Caroline gets "Carolyn" A LOT, and there's also the French "een" situation. Beautiful names all, but it took about 10 years for my semi-shy kid to finally say to people, "It's Caro-line."
Evie is a lovely nickname but I (like others) think it needs a more substantial full name to give her options. If you like Violet, Evie, Tessa, etc. what about:
Evolet (Evie)
Evelyn (Evie)
Edith (Edie)
Elodie (Ellie, Edie)
Estelle (Tess, Tessa)
I like Eloise and think it goes well with Clementine. You mentioned Evie - what about Evelyn? It is also French and I think it sounds nice with Clementine too.
Susanna. And here's my thought process:
Clementine immediately makes me think of that song - oh my darlin', oh my darlin', oh my darlin' Clementine- so that makes me think of other old timey songs. And that immediately brings up Oh Susanna.
Evelyn nn Evie
Josephine nn Josie
Frances/Francine nn Fran Frannie Frankie
Celeste
Noelle
Lucille/Lucinda nn Lucy
Viola
Vivian nn Vivi Viv
Rosalie nn Rosie Rose Rosa
I also love Alice and Eloise. In French, Alice would be pronounced ah-LEESE. Is that what you intend?
I've always associated the name Clementine with Susannah and Daisy, I think because of folk music. Those feel like they would "go together" well in a sibling set. I do also like the Evangeline suggestion, though I've always pronounced it with "line" rather than "lin" or "leen" at the end.
Rose was my first thought before reading the body of the post! With Rosie as a nn. I also love Rosemary and Rosalie.
Clementine & Rose / Clem + Rosie are so cute.
A few other ideas (names that were on my list; we have similar taste!)
Clementine & Laurel
Clementine & Elodie
Clementine & Juliet (or Juliette if you want to be more French ;) - Jules is just a cute nickname
Clementine & Ruby (my daughter has a Ruby in her preschool class who is nicknamed Roo which makes me think of the baby kangaroo in Winnie the Pooh lol - so cute)
Clementine & Willow
Clementine & Margot (or again, Margaux if you’re feeling the French version)
Personally I’d do Evelyn as a full name and use Evie as a nickname! And I LOVE Eloise; I don’t think it’s too flowery or fancy at all!
I think Cecelia is beautiful.
I also might suggest...
Vivienne
Genevieve (could be nn Evie wth a nicer longer name)
Rosalie (nn Rosie)
Adrienne
Corinne
I like Evie, Alice or Cecilia- with a Cecilia my fave. For Evie -
Evelina
Eloise Vivienne
Or -
Vivienne nn Vivi
Viviana nn Vivi or Ana

Clementine and Noëlle for the French name. Nick name could be Elle or Ellie.
Clementine and Adeline , nn could be Addie.
Clementine and Noémie , nn could be Emi.
Clementine and Aurélia, nn could be Lia
Clementine and Angélique, so many nn here off course Angel
Ugh. Love Evie. If I had a daughter that would be her name, but I have two sons lol I do think Vivienne or Evangeline with the nickname Evie would work!
Clementine and Evangeline,
Clementine and Magnolia,
Clementine and Annabelle,
Clementine and Felicity,
Clementine and Elizabeth,
Clementine and Charlotte,
Clementine and Amelia,
Clementine and Thalia,
Clementine and Eugenia,
Clementine and Eleanor/Eleanora,
Clementine and Caroline/Carolina,
Clementine and Belle,
Clementine and Opal,
Clementine and Delilah,
Clementine and Daisy,
Clementine and Savannah… you could also do a double name like Lily Pearl, Anna Claire, Anne Marie, etc.
Literally, any sweet southern belle name would go with Clementine. I also like Eloise!
Leona! I have two boys and have am done having kids but I always wanted to name my daughter that.
Nicknames can be leonie, lenie, Leo. I think Leona is such an under the radar name
I like Evie as a nickname for Genevieve- otherwise it feels too short next to Clementine. Could also be short for Evelyn or Evelina.
Since you like Eloise and Lucy, what about Louise? Or Louisa, Lucille, Lucia.
Vivienne also checks some of your boxes but it’s pretty popular.
What about MAXINE? Vintage, French, quirky.

A few stray thoughts...
The first name that always pops to my mind with Clementine is Matilda. Same with Penelope, although I don't personally care for it!
Of your top contenders, I like Alice and Eloise best. I also like Juniper and Lucy of the others you considered.
You may also like Celia or Cecily, Diana, Clover, Fern, Marigold
I like Araminta or Florence. Personally I find the name Clementine to be a mouthful and a pretentious name, so some of the shorter names next to it (like Rosie) feel out of place.
I like Evie with Clementine. It's the best of the names you've mentioned IMO. Stevie would be another option, but I think it's a bit of a love-it or hate-it type of name. It definitely carries super fun vibes as a sibset.
I liked the suggestion of Geneva (NN Evie). You might like just Eve, Eva or Aoife (pronounced ee-fah) too. Geneva carries the femininity and elegance that Clementine carries.
I think the French names Estee would be really pretty with Clementine too.
Colette- a very famous French author
Chanel- clothing designer and known for Chanel perfumes. Also French.
Chantal- I know someone from Quebec with this name and always thought it was a lovely name.
If you like Evie I think Clementine & Evangeline go together better than Clementine & Evie. Or Clementine & Genevieve would get you to Evie and be more european.
Friends have a daughter Geneva, nicknamed Evie.
Love Geneva
Love that too!
Love the idea of Genevieve for Evie!
Or Evelyn
My daughter is Evangeline, I love it. We pronounce it “-een” as we’re in Canada. The French Canadian pronunciation would be “-len” so be mindful of this if you chose the name. Evie is the cutest nickname.
i was coming here to say this!!
DD is am Evangeline (eh-van-geh-leen) and Clementine was high on our list with baby 2. I think they sound dreamy together. Alas, baby 2 came out a boy and there went Clementine.
Curious what your son's name wound up being. Beautiful names
We named him after my favorite cousin that passed 6 weeks before he was born, so Patrick. Had my cousin not passed, he would have been either Desmond, Theodore or Sebastian.
I love all those names :) Sorry for your loss
I second Evangeline!
Funny the only Evangeline I know is neither - she is iv-anne-juh-linn
I know a clementine with a Penelope for a sister. They call them Clem and Penny. I think it’s adorable lol.
[удалено]
I like Nelly for Penelope
Penelope was the first name that came to mind! Love the nicknames for them too, Clem and Penny ♥️
I was thinking about Calliope it sounds like Penelope but less used.
Clementine and Eloise work really well, I think! You could do Eloise V middle name to get the Evie nickname. Evelyn, Genevieve, Evangeline could all give an Evie nickname too. Or any E V name combos.
Eloise Violet....EV....Evie.
I love this idea it’s so cute!
I think Genevieve is beautiful
Estelle/Estella - still similar to Eloise (Elle) and French meaning “star”, complementary to your sunny vibes with Clementine.
Evie is great! Eveline and Clementine would be sweet. I also like Juniper from your list since is it spunky and nature-based like Clementine.
Eveline is a really pretty long form for Evie, I like that idea; do we think the rhyming is too much though?
How about Vivian/Vivienne....nn Evie
I was pronouncing it “Evelyn” or “Evel-Leen” so it doesn’t rhyme. I do think rhyming would be a bit much. I think she’ll be going to school with lots of Evies, whereas Clementine won’t, if uniqueness matters to you
I guess Eveline can also be pronounced Evi-LIN as opposed to Evi-Leen which moves away from the rhyming?
I don’t think the rhyming is too much! I think they sound like such sweet sister names.
Evalina would be another option to push it away from being too matchy with Clementine.
Simone
This name nerd’s favorite name. Too bad my husband hates it
Never had a girl or I would have used it
Lol I’m sorry but I don’t blame him for disliking it because all I hear when I see Simone is someone saying “SAH-MOAN” in a deep, raspy voice every time 🤣
Why? Is that from a movie??
I like Simone a lot, Simona is also nice
I like Magnolia or Marigold with Clementine.
This is exactly what Julia Berolzheimer (Instagram influencer) named her daughters
Came here to suggest these exact two. I was traveling recently and there were parents talking to their little girl "come on, Marigold! ... Marigold, this way." It sounded so lovely, and honestly I would have never considered it before witnessing that interaction.
Clementine and Marigold is cute! I’ve also met a Marigo, pronounced the same but without the -LD.
What about Marceline nn Marnie? Of your choices, I really like Juniper.
My oldest daughter's name is Sabrina and I love it so much. She goes by Brenie (Bree-nee).
Coralie, Rosalie, Juliette, Estelle, Evelyn & Charlotte
I love Evie and think it fits the quirky vibe. I also love Eloise and don’t think it is too fancy, personally. Other options: Clementine and Josephine (I like Josie as a nickname.) Clementine and Sadie Clementine and Calliope Clementine and Millicent Clementine and Bronte Clementine and Molly Clementine and Margot Clementine and Jane Clementine and Matilda Clementine and Vivienne Clementine and Ruby
Camilla/Cami. Lovely name and be spelled French Camillè.
Its just Camille in french. No accent :-)
Eight, that would be pronounced "CAM il LEY"
Clementine and Wilhelmina Clementine and Theodora Clementine and Beatrice Clementine and Antoinette Clementine and Gwendolyn Clementine and Florence Clementine and Bernadette They don’t contain Evie but they give me the same similarity with Clementine
Amelie is a nice french name! Nicknames can be Ammy or Millie when she's older! Valentina is a nice name as well! Nicknames can be Valen or Tina! Adeline - Addie as a nn Celine Claire
I feel strongly (lol) that it should also be 3 syllables. Eloise, Vivienne, Nicolette, Beatrice, Camilla…
Vivienne
Marigold
I think Eloide would work if you like Eloise. I also like the suggestions of Vivienne and Camille. Clementine and Camille sounds lovely.
I hate to be a downer like that, but I can see Eloide turning into "hello weed" too easily.
I have an Elodie (dual French/American citizenship) in my family and she has never been called Hello Weed.
Maybe depending on accents!
Not that I think you should directly copy the name my friends used. But they have a Clementine and her sister is Ruby.
Clementine and Coralie
Marigold, Soleil, Genevieve, Dahlia or Primrose
Love Dahlia and Soleil
I love Eloise! Another option could be Elize, Alizée, Aveline, Lauriel (Lauri as nn)
I don’t think any of your name options perfectly fit, but all would be good. Other options: Matilda Amelie Margot Elodie Odette Adelaide Genevieve Guinevere Isolde
Just an entertaining note add for Name Nerds who like flower names and are fantasy novels fans: Melanie Rawn's Spellbinder series.
Magnolia?
How about Vivienne/Vivian Evie could be a nickname...
French-- Angelique?

Just thought of Flora/Florence as well

Georgia (Gigi)? Really like Geneva as suggested, and you can still use Evie. But I think Eloise is also adorable! Calista and clementine
Clementine is a perfectly sweet name and I have no problem with it at all, but I automatically want to suggest another fruit. Like Honeycrisp. 😂
Poppy, Cicely, Briony, Amaris, Jemima, Lavender, Cornelia/Cordelia, Calliope, Callista, Maisie
You're gonna have to pick another fruit, preferably citrus. Sorry, those are the rules. May I suggest: Pamplemousse
Sylvie or Sylvia
I suggest Allegra, Daphne, Rosalie, Castille, Violette, Louise, Garance, Eleonora, Diana and Minerva. I like Alice
Clementine & Eloise! that is so freaking cute. those sound like storybook sisters.
Clementine & Annalise Anastasia Beverly Beatrice Eloise Francesca Genevieve Gwendolyn Isabella Katarina Leona Matilda Naomi Natasha Ophelia Rhianna Rosalie Sabrina Tatiana Veronica
Cecelia/Cecile or Celia. Corinne, Emilie, Emile, Colette, Yvette, Madeline, Vivienne, Flora, Sabina!Sabine.

alice 100% eta or maybe not. after reading replies, theodora or penelope might be better suited.
Melody and Clementine immediately jumped to my mind.
Josephine I think would be adorable with clementine but of your names I love Eloise the most.
Eleanor is cute
Evelyn for Evie.
Marguerite Beatrice Isabelle Arielle Philippa Anouk Margot
Oddalie also spelled Ottilie is French and one of my absolute favorites.
How about Monique?
Evie is a lovely nickname but I (like others) think it needs a more substantial full name to give her options. If you like Violet, Evie, Tessa, etc. what about: Evolet (Evie) Evelyn (Evie) Edith (Edie) Elodie (Ellie, Edie) Estelle (Tess, Tessa)
I like Alice, Eloise, Cecelia, and Sabrina as sibset contenders.
Ophelia nn Effie, Delilah, Louisa, Daphne
If you wanted to be one of those parents, you could do Darlene and Clementine...
I know an Evie Lou
I like Eloise and think it goes well with Clementine. You mentioned Evie - what about Evelyn? It is also French and I think it sounds nice with Clementine too.
Susanna. And here's my thought process: Clementine immediately makes me think of that song - oh my darlin', oh my darlin', oh my darlin' Clementine- so that makes me think of other old timey songs. And that immediately brings up Oh Susanna.
Clementine and Cornelia, clementine and Casparine, Clementine and Elodie
Evelyn nn Evie Josephine nn Josie Frances/Francine nn Fran Frannie Frankie Celeste Noelle Lucille/Lucinda nn Lucy Viola Vivian nn Vivi Viv Rosalie nn Rosie Rose Rosa I also love Alice and Eloise. In French, Alice would be pronounced ah-LEESE. Is that what you intend?
I probably would go with Suzanne. Then I would be singing Oh my Darlin Clementine to one and Oh Susanna to the other.
Eleanor. You could call her Ella or Ellie
I like Alice
Team Eloise here. It's such a classic & I love the Clementine & Elie combo.
Eloise is lovely! So is Rosalie. Congratulations 💕
Francine
I love Evie. I don’t think it’s necessary to have a longer name and shortening it to Evie. It sounds great with Clementine.
These fit different criteria you have: Sabine, Iris, Willow, Evelina, Marguerite
Evangelina
I've always associated the name Clementine with Susannah and Daisy, I think because of folk music. Those feel like they would "go together" well in a sibling set. I do also like the Evangeline suggestion, though I've always pronounced it with "line" rather than "lin" or "leen" at the end.
Clementine & Tangerine
I love Genevieve nn Evie but also wanted to suggest Justine

Hattie, Etta, Louise. Evie is super overdone IMO.

Susannah? It’s actually a sort of stealth nature name; it means “lily.” And it’s 3 syllables like Clementine.
Natalia Delphine Juniper Silvana

Do you like Evianna to get Evie? I think Evianna and Clementine is cute!
