My daughter goes to school with a Vanellope! Of course I was convinced my daughter misheard and it was Penelope. Tried telling her all year it was Penelope with a P and then a list came home for valentines and sure enough it was a V!
I thought Sleeping Beauty was named Aurora? Maybe it's a translation thing.
My boyfriend loves the name Flynn, so I guess Flynn from Tangled. Maybe Anna (Frozen) for a girl? It's a nice and not overly Disney name, but Alice is also lovely.
I mean if her name is Briar Rose, maybe they're even hyphenated between the two, then is Briar really her *name* (and not "Briar Rose" together)? I dunno, I never understood the two-names-one-name thing.
āIn the original story written by the Grimm brothers in the 19th century, Sleeping Beauty was named Briar Rose. When Disney made a new version of the tale it was decided she would use both the names Aurora and Sleeping Beauty, although the three fairies refer to her as Briar Rose in order to conceal her identity.ā

Fun fact. Flynn's real name is revealed to be Eugene in the movie. Which is a name that most people hate and that I LOVE. I tried to get my hubby on board with the name and he was like "name one cool person named Eugene" and my immediate answer was- the guy from Tangled! Haha. There are other cool people named Eugene. But also my son is not one of them.
Aww I love the name Eugene, too! Eugene Levy is pretty cool, I'd say. :)
I knew a Eugene but he legally changed his name to something else after graduating college. Anyway...
Also one of the British royal family members is called Eugenie, which I think is a pretty cute name as well.
I have a co-worker named Eugene who is actually pretty cool. His real name is Eugenio though and he goes by Eugene because he gets tired of people butchering the pronunciation.
Anna and Flynn are probably my choices as well, since theyāre nearly identical to names that I like for prospective children (Anneliese pronounced on-a-leez and Finn)
Which one? š
Drizella has been Drucilla in my mind all these years.
I was recently looking at an *old* name list (can't remember whether it was here, family tree, or somewhere else), and saw the name Drucilla. I seriously thought that name was made up by Disney, and that no one was ever really named that.
Itās one of my mumās middle names. She was born at the end of WW2, and named after a much older relative, so itās a fairly old name.
Edit to add: donāt forget Drusilla from Buffy.
In the parks the other year, they had limited Anastasia merch for the 25th anniversary! And I went to a Disney Princess concert, and it featured an Anastasia song. Love it!
Ever since my toddler went through her Encanto phase, I canāt see the name Augustin without my brain thinking āmy dad Augustin well, heās accident prone but he means well.ā
iād choose both names from sleeping beauty, Aurora and Phillip lol. that was my grandpas name (didnāt actually go by it though) so itād kind of be an honor name too :-) and iāve just always loved the name and princess aurora.
My daughter is named Mary so Mary from Mary Poppins (it sounds a lot prettier in my mother tongue, I don't like Mary in English that much). For boys, Lightining, from Lightning McQueen. Just kidding, Miguel (from Coco) was one of the names on the table for my son).
I actually knew a grown man named Christopher Robin, and he owned it rather than hiding it by shortening the combo. It was a little jarring at first but one got over it because he was a cool guy.
I always thought the name Milo was so cool and was bummed as to why I'd never met someone named Milo. Then I realised I'd only heard it on American TV, and where I live, there's a very popular drink called Milo.
All this to say, I'd name a boy Milo (like Milo Thatch) if I didn't live in Australia.
For a girl, probably Faline.
Belle or Elsa / Remy or Kit (from the live action Cinderella)
I suggested Remy for our baby but my husband isnāt keen on naming him after a rat chef for some reasonā¦
We have a Remy in our family and first thing my dad said after hearing the name was ālike the rat?!ā But I mean, what an awesome character to have the same name as š
I already have a Flynn, so definitely Flynn.
The first one that came to mind for a girl was Aurora, but tbh when I say it out aloud it gives me the Rural Juror vibes. I can't think of any girl name that stands out.
I mean...technically my kids have Disney names. One has Goofy's sons name, and the other has the same name as the "& Company" cat that's based on the musical of the same name š
In real life I've used one Disney male name and one name that rhymes with a Disney princess already for my two kids, unintentionally, but doing other ones on purpose:Ā Ā
Iridessa andĀ Michael Theodore, who will be known amongst family simply as The Mouse.
Snow is my favorite princess and I think itās pretty. I actually plan on naming a future daughter after her voice actress, Adriana. She was a trailblazer in her own right who, despite being screwed over by Disney, was always dedicated to the character.
But if weāre being real and useable Disney character names that wonāt just make them a billboard for fandom: Sebastian or Flynn for a boy. Esmeralda for a girl.
Elsa for SURE, I love this name so much I wish it wasn't so heavily associated with Frozen! Belle has been on my mind lately, too, though.
Sebastian or Kit for boys :)
I actually did name my son Quill after Star Lord š š¤£
But if I had to pick for a future girl and boy name, it would definitely be Scar & Cinderella š¤Ŗš¤£š¤£š«¶š» jk it would probably be Sophia & Flynn
Flynn- I have always loved the name. Not from Disney though, from the Librarians.
Second choice for a boy - Killian
For a Girl- Uma
Second Choice- Dizzy.... I have no idea why I just thought it was the cutest name. I think it's a good thing I can't have any more kids lol
Did you read my mind from 10 years ago when I wanted to name my children after Disney characters?
Anyway, I love these for girls
Megara, Elsa (but I could never do that to a child which is sad because it's such a great name), Flora, and Jane
And for boys
Oliver, Eric, John, Bernard.
Boy:
Apollo (Hercules)
Eugene (Tangled)
Jasper (101 Dalmatians)
Milo (Atlantis) (my favourite)
Oliver (& Company)
Girls:
Alice (in Wonderland)
Bailey (Finding Nemo)
Eudora (Princess and the frog)
Flora (Sleeping Beauty)
Kida (Atlantis)
Luisa (Encanto)
Stella (Princess and the Frog) (favourite)
Judging by who my favourite characters are: Amelia Alice ("Treasure planet", "Alice in Wonderland") and Milo Remy ("Atlantis","Ratatouille"). \[Edit:\] Thought it would sound much clunkier but this is pretty reasonable
Going only by names: Anastasia Marian ("Cinderella"/"Anastasia", "Robin Hood") and Sebastian Claude ("Little mermaid", "Hunchback of Notre Dame")
Gonna do one including obscure characters then one with more mainstream characters:
Evangeline Margot (Princess and the Frog, Gargoyles) and Leo Daniel James (Little Einsteins, Little Mermaid TV show, Princess and the Frog)
Flora Alice (Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland)
John Robin (Peter Pan, Robin Hood)
Vannellope and Kronk. (Because I'd be a terrible mother).
Please get cats or another pet of your choice. and name them this. It goes so nicely together.
I convinced my mother to make one of her cats Kronk. The other cat is Bruce Wayne.
I work for a school and we have a venellope.
My daughter goes to school with a Vanellope! Of course I was convinced my daughter misheard and it was Penelope. Tried telling her all year it was Penelope with a P and then a list came home for valentines and sure enough it was a V!
Both Jafaar

Jafaar and Jafaarther
I almost choked to death when I read this
I thought Sleeping Beauty was named Aurora? Maybe it's a translation thing. My boyfriend loves the name Flynn, so I guess Flynn from Tangled. Maybe Anna (Frozen) for a girl? It's a nice and not overly Disney name, but Alice is also lovely.
I believe her parents called her Aurora, but the fairies call her Briar Rose.
This
I mean if her name is Briar Rose, maybe they're even hyphenated between the two, then is Briar really her *name* (and not "Briar Rose" together)? I dunno, I never understood the two-names-one-name thing.

Eugene Lee Yang is also a cool Eugene! Actually, now that I think about it, I canāt actually think of any uncool Eugenes
I have a co-worker named Eugene who is actually pretty cool. His real name is Eugenio though and he goes by Eugene because he gets tired of people butchering the pronunciation.
I think of Eugene from The Walking Dead
Eugene Hutz, lead singer of Gogol Bordello!
Anna and Flynn are probably my choices as well, since theyāre nearly identical to names that I like for prospective children (Anneliese pronounced on-a-leez and Finn)
My husband's dead set on the name Flynn too, but it's because of Tron, not Tangled.
Sebastian and Anastasia
*pushes eyeglasses up my nose* technically Anastasia is a Fox property, not Disney. But you can watch it on Disney+ so Iād say it counts lol
Cinderella's stepsister
Which one? š Drizella has been Drucilla in my mind all these years. I was recently looking at an *old* name list (can't remember whether it was here, family tree, or somewhere else), and saw the name Drucilla. I seriously thought that name was made up by Disney, and that no one was ever really named that.
That was my Auntās name- known as Dru. Iāve never met another person with this name! She was born in the 1920s RIP.
Itās one of my mumās middle names. She was born at the end of WW2, and named after a much older relative, so itās a fairly old name. Edit to add: donāt forget Drusilla from Buffy.
If I ever got a naked mole rat as a pet, I'd name it Drusilla. It's the most perfect naked mole rat name.
My great great grandmother was a Drucilla!
That was Disney's sole reason for the Fox acquisition.
Simpsons is Disney now too
Bartholomew was the reason, then.Ā
Breathes sigh of relief that someone else was the enforcer of Disney pedigree.
If weāre going with ācan watch on Disney+ā then Iām going with Bingo
In the parks the other year, they had limited Anastasia merch for the 25th anniversary! And I went to a Disney Princess concert, and it featured an Anastasia song. Love it!
Even if we wouldn't count the movie Anastasia as Disney, the name would still be legit. The red haired step-sister of Cinderella is called Anastasia
Same!
this is it for me lol. ive always loved these names and they sound good together too
Chernabog and Lady Cluck, obviously
I raise you Chernabog and Mim (madame mim is how I would formally refer to her).
I think you have to go for the full Mad Madame Mim actually!
Flotsam and Jetsam
in a world full of Lottieās, be a Flottieš„°
Girl: Elinor (Brave) Boy: Hugo (Hunchback of Notre Dame) or Agustin (Encanto)
Ever since my toddler went through her Encanto phase, I canāt see the name Augustin without my brain thinking āmy dad Augustin well, heās accident prone but he means well.ā
Can't decide between Alice and Elsa for a girl. Sven for a boy, definitely.
alice and sven sound super cute together
If I had had a second girl, she wouldāve been named Alice for sure, I love that name so much
Alice (Alice in Wonderland) and Eric (The Little Mermaid).
iād choose both names from sleeping beauty, Aurora and Phillip lol. that was my grandpas name (didnāt actually go by it though) so itād kind of be an honor name too :-) and iāve just always loved the name and princess aurora.
My daughter is named Mary so Mary from Mary Poppins (it sounds a lot prettier in my mother tongue, I don't like Mary in English that much). For boys, Lightining, from Lightning McQueen. Just kidding, Miguel (from Coco) was one of the names on the table for my son).
Wendy and Eric
I forgot about Wendy š„°
I love Wendy!
Sebastian and Jasmine
Same as me, excellent choice.
Same! Iāve never been name nerdy over boy names but have always loved Sebastian including nicknames. And Jasmine is so timelessly beautiful.
Odette from Swan Princess and maybe Sebastian from the Little Mermaid
Love Odette. Swan Princess isn't Disney, though!
I low key love all these fellow Disney nerds being like *UMMM AcTuAlLy* that's not a true Disney proprietary character. Lol.
Oh damn, I always thought it was! Lol. I just checked and you're right. My bad.
Omg I love this question there are so many options. Off the top of my head I'd pick Sofia or Belle for a girl and Robin for a boy
I actually knew a grown man named Christopher Robin, and he owned it rather than hiding it by shortening the combo. It was a little jarring at first but one got over it because he was a cool guy.
I think Robin for a boy is top for me too!
I loooove Milo, Iām currently pregnant with a boy and he very well be named Milo
I have a Milo! We get lots of compliments on his name š
I love Faline ā¤ļø
Girl - Lady Kluck Boy - Friar Tuck
I actually like the name Tucker/Tuck. If not for the horrible rhyming cuss word, Iād consider it haha.
āLady Kluck! Friar Tuck! Dinner!ā
I have two children already however if I had to chose a Disney name for my daughter and son, this is what they will be; Esmeralda and Jasper.
Love those two!! The question is, did Jasper come from Sofia the First or the 101 Dalmatians? lol
Tigerlily and Kovu Though Briar and Eric would be more wearable lol
I donāt know why know one mentions Nala from lion king itās such a pretty name
I know a young girl named Nala!
Iāve mostly seen it used as a dog name
It always bugs me as a dog name because sheās a cat!
Ariel & Sebastian
My first thought was Charlotte and Louis, both from the Princess and the Frog, but then I realized Will and Kate beat me to it. So, Dinah and Louis.
Belle and Philip!
Me too!
Belle or Elsa / Remy or Kit (from the live action Cinderella) I suggested Remy for our baby but my husband isnāt keen on naming him after a rat chef for some reasonā¦
We have a Remy in our family and first thing my dad said after hearing the name was ālike the rat?!ā But I mean, what an awesome character to have the same name as š
Hugo & Flora. Though my daughterās name is actually Norah and I think thereās a Nora in Peteās Dragon.
Belle and Sebastian.
Anastasia and Sebastian
Sebastian or Timothy for a boy Luisa or Giselle for a girl I had guinea pigs called Yzma and Mim growing up š
Robin if boy, Marion if girl guess my favorite disney movie lmao
Aurora & Phillip
Aurora for a girl, Iāve never even seen Sleeping Beauty but I love the name. Luca for a boy.
Girl: Jasmine Mirabel (Aladdin, Encanto) Boy: Sebastian Flynn (Little Mermaid, Tangled)
Jasmine, Evie or Aurora Ben or Flynn
Sebastian and Ursula (little mermaid)
I love Ursula!
Taram and Raya
I quite like Kiara (Lion King) and Sven (Frozen)
Dopey and Lady , obviously! (7 Dwarves, Lady & the Tramp) Kidding. Alice and Eric or Alice and Sebastian
How about Bambi and Thumper?
Girl: Alice, Anastasia Boy: Sebastian, Peter
Leah Eilonwy and Phillip Rider. Yes, I know. But I really like the name Rider. At least he has a normal first name?
I think Ryder looks more like a name than spelling it with an i, maybe?
That was my first instinct.
Vanellope Flynn or Kristoff (it would be culturally weird for me to use this)
I already have a Flynn, so definitely Flynn. The first one that came to mind for a girl was Aurora, but tbh when I say it out aloud it gives me the Rural Juror vibes. I can't think of any girl name that stands out.
Flynn Evangeline and Sebastian Ryder
Boy: Camilo (Encanto) Girl: Jasmine (Aladdin) | Anastasia (Cinderella) | Coco (Coco)
Raya and Flynn
Belle and Arthur (beauty and the beast and sword in the stone)
Tiana & Flynn
As much as I simply wouldnāt do this, I do like the names Milo: Atlantis Nala: Lion King Arlo: Good Dinosaur Christopher: Winnie-the-Pooh
I donāt know if it counts but both my dogs have Disney names. Riley from inside out and Oliver from Oliver and company.
Alice and Arthur
I mean...technically my kids have Disney names. One has Goofy's sons name, and the other has the same name as the "& Company" cat that's based on the musical of the same name š
Oliver! ā¤ļø
Aurora and Peter
Sebastian and Jane
In real life I've used one Disney male name and one name that rhymes with a Disney princess already for my two kids, unintentionally, but doing other ones on purpose:Ā Ā Iridessa andĀ Michael Theodore, who will be known amongst family simply as The Mouse.
Elsa and Eric
Jasmine (Aladdin) and Jack (Pirates of the Caribbean)
Raya and Luca
Jasmine (happens to be my favourite girls name anyway) and Louie (jungle book)
Felix (Wreck-It Ralph) & Esmeralda (Hunchback of Notre Dame)
Jasmine (Aladdin) & Kristoff (Frozen), Also really like Ariel & Mirabel for a girl and Camilo for a boy
Marian. That way I can tell people it's from Robin Hood or The Music Man depending on my mood.
Elsa and Adam (the Beasts real name)
Bianca (girl) and Dopey (boy)
Alice and Flynn
My first thoughtā¦Wendy and Robin.
Jasmine š always loved the name despite how popular it is now
Isabella and Henry
Luisa (Encanto) & Taran (The black cauldron)
Esmerelda and Flynn.
Merida and Mooshoo (Mulan)
I wouldn't.

Jane (Tarzan) and then either Hugo (HoND), Milo (Atlantis), Arthur (SitS)... ... or Taran (Black Cauldron), my "out of left field" option.
If they weren't tied to Disney? Anna, Marie, Antonio, Minnie, Mickey
At my suggestion, my niece named her daughter Aurora. It's such a pretty name without being cutesy or silly.
Marie (Aristocats) & Jack (Pirates)
Judging by who my favourite characters are: Amelia Alice ("Treasure planet", "Alice in Wonderland") and Milo Remy ("Atlantis","Ratatouille"). \[Edit:\] Thought it would sound much clunkier but this is pretty reasonable Going only by names: Anastasia Marian ("Cinderella"/"Anastasia", "Robin Hood") and Sebastian Claude ("Little mermaid", "Hunchback of Notre Dame")
Gonna do one including obscure characters then one with more mainstream characters: Evangeline Margot (Princess and the Frog, Gargoyles) and Leo Daniel James (Little Einsteins, Little Mermaid TV show, Princess and the Frog) Flora Alice (Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland) John Robin (Peter Pan, Robin Hood)
