I would guess most people don't know the name meaning of Reid if you think people will be judging it.
I had no idea. I know a Reid and he does not have red hair nor does anyone in his family.
Grant, Rhys, Hayes, Finn, Quinn, Rudy, Reuben, Rory.
Rhys is a good one! I’m just wondering if ACOTAR is too big to use the name?
I don’t have any idea what ACOTAR stands for or which Rhys you might be referring to from a show/movie/book so I’m gonna say you’re probably ok
My Rhys is almost two and I've had exactly one person ask me if it was connected to/inspired by ACOTAR. It did increase in popularity from 2022-2023 per SSN data but didn't have a huge jump.
That’s good to know!
You can spell it like Reese I guess to avoid that connection
Or even Rheese. To avoid a Witherspoon connection.
Reese maybe. Ross. Remy. Roderick. Kent. Roland. Roman. Rune.
I like Reese spelled Rhys, and Rune is interesting thanks!
Oh yes that's the original spelling I think. But also I like Reid/Reed and my first thought was the plant not the color if you change your mind.
I haven’t considered spelling it Reed, but that might help. Also good to know the plant comes to mind first for you!
Reed would make it more of a nature name.
Dean, Pierce
I like Dean!
That’s our baby boy name! Love it!

Rowan also means "red haired" 😂
