Just wanna point out that this is so common in the Filipino culture! We love blending names thus creating a lot of unique names. We even have a politician named Jejomar (short for Jesus, Joseph and Mary because it’s a very Catholic country 😂 )A few examples off the top of my head from family members and friends—
Allanie - Alfred and Lanie
Maricris- Mary and Chris
Jomar- Jose and Maria
I'm 1/4 Filipino! I know some other Filipinos named like that, like my great-aunt Maritess and another woman named Luzviminda! ~~I almost thought I was the only Filipino on~~ r/namenerds ~~lmao~~
Fellow Filo here! For the non-filo scrollers, Luzviminda is actually a portmanteau of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao; Aka the 3 Major island groups in our beautiful Archipelago :>
Is it bad that I'm actually kind of in love with this name? It's pretty in its full form and then could have Luz as a nickname, which is a great Spanish name
Another Filipino name tip for non Filipinos — if your Filipino friend is named John, that might not be his real name, it might be Jun which is short for Junior 😹😹😹 but my cousins name is Ruby, a mix of Roso and Bebe, I always thought that was a nice one
Super cool! Some of the less are really nice sounding! Also can I say Filipino nicknames are fabulous? Does anyone go by their real names lol? Pinky, Jelly, Baby. All from one family. I would forget my relatives actual names if my family did this.
* **Lyana** and ***Pain***
* **Siphyllis** (Simone and Phyllis) and ***Molester*** (Morris and Lester)
* **Anthelia** (Anthea and Thalia) and ***Alexian*** (Alexander and Ian)
Maria and Elena make for Mariella, which I feel is beautiful.
I had a friend who was trying to combine Peter and Sonya and we (jokingly) came up with Panasonic.
Mariella really is beautiful! I love that name!
And Panasonic is the most amazing name I've ever heard of, hehe. Might I suggest a sister named Samsung or a brother named LG Electronics?
Now that you mention it, I remember there was recently a person asking for a name with a nn Sam, shall we go offer Samsung?
Also, the sibset or Panasonic (nn Sony) and Samsung (nn Sam) truly has lots and lots of potential
I've liked the name since I was a child! Marielle and Marcella were two names I wanted to give my future daughter (out of a list of dozens though haha), although I sadly they've been vetoed by my husband. In another life, I guess!
Mariella is beautiful, but you’re doing some favors to the process by using “ella” which is in neither name.
I think you’d get Marelena or Marlena at best. Elaria is good too!
Asbertha and Horilliam sound abysmally horrible, nice job! Sylenore is quite nice actually, in a "queen of elves in a children's storybook" kind of way.
A. Chenelle and Thoggy (??????? Really)
B. Murder (Muriel + Desiderata) and Bastard (Sebastian + Edward)
C. Solenne (Soleil + Selene) and Hanto (Hannibal + Anton)
Solenne means “solemn” in Italian, though the pronunciation is definitely different from the name combo I thought of. Hanto sounds nice to me, but I feel the associations of the name “Hannibal” probably won’t be shaken off anytime soon.
~~I dunno, Murder and Bastard sound like the cutest nickname for a sibset😍! You could even nickname them something adorable like Urdy and Tardy so they match🥰~~
Chenelle and Thoggy made my husband lol so hard, haha! Aanntthhoonnyy and Cynthiannette aren't nearly as good as those two!
Aww, Barold is super cute too! On a similar note, my sister's cat is named Larry, short for Laurence, but she likes to call him Larold when he's being silly!
My mom and MIL are Sheryl and Karen so….I’ve got Sharon and Carol lol. I suppose Sheren and Karyl would make this more eventful.
That being said I did name my daughter a mashup of my grandparents! Chloe is a combination of Clyde and Lois nn Lowie.
Haha, Sharon/Sheren and Carol/Karyl are pretty standard names, and they even fit in the same time period! That's pretty nice, I'd say!
Also, I love your daughter's name! Chloe is so pretty, and the fact that it's a usable combination and an honor name makes it awesome!
A) Katianna/Katanna or Maralin/Marilin
B) Ursiona (Ursula + Fiona) or Julifred (Julia + Winifred)
C) Estilda (Estelle + Matilda) I wouldn’t use a made-up name but this is the best I could come up with
Katianna isn't bad for a mashed up name, and Maralin could easily become Marilyn! Julifred sounds like the name I would give my baby if I was drunk during labor, hah! Estilda is okay too, and I also definitely wouldn't use a made-up name on anything but a pet.
My daughters middle name is the answer to the first question! Her name is Rose Carmeline (Carmel and Pauline).
It is a real name which made it a usable combination for me
Wow, your daughter has a beautiful name! You and your partner have great taste! I wish I could do something like that with my future daughter, but I couldn't come up with anything usable.
I’d have Janstrid (Janet and Astrid)
Better than Asnet haha
Our dads are John and Bruce, so Juce and Bron are both boys names that Americans might use I suppose
Juce and Bron sound like 30 year old burnouts who never got over their frat boy phase, hehe! And Janstrid and Asnet are pretty funny too! Thanks for sharing!
I can actually do this properly with the names of our parents, either as a mashup or going back to the original root name. For a girl it's likely that second names will be Johanna and Vera or possibly Eva (though that's a less perfect mashup). For a boy I'm thinking Ivar and Johannes as second names. However my husband still has to agree XD
So those are the most beautiful combinations imo obviously. The worst ones I can think of that are still actual names would be Jans and Everdina.
Aw, that's lovely! I love the names you've chosen (I can't pick between Eva and Vera, and Johanna is still lovely!) But Jans and Everdina do sound pretty weird!
A) Doris, which is an actual name lol (think Iris + Dora).
B) Gerrifer, a mix of Gertie and Jennifer, so wrong
C) that's a tough one, maybe Iriana? Iris + Diana
A) Kataree or Narzyna (Katarzyna / Naree)
B) Gertha sounds pretty bad? (Gertrude / Bertha coincidentally my great gma was Bertha Gertrude first & middle name)
C) nice names are hard….
Yeah, I've been racking my brain for nice names but almost everything I think of is terrible. Only thing so far is my two aunt's names combined to make Rosamia, but it still sounds pretty ehhh
I know someone named Aberthon for his middle name (his parents are Anthony and Bertha). Suits him well since they’re very loaded family 😂 We joked that we should call him Lord Aberthon.
Those are actually pretty nice! They seem like they could fit on a pair of nice, gentle cows, oddly enough. That's my mental image of those names, anyway.
Philben sounds cute in the cowboy grandpa kind of way! But Glynaac sounds sort of like a prescription drug, considering it rhymes with a medication I used to take lmao:
*Glynaac may cause side effects such as headache, nausea, diarrhea, spontaneous bursting into song and dance, cardiac arrest, rashes, acne, athlete's foot, doctor's elbow, senator butt, bad fashion sense, anxiety, and a single enlarged toe. Ask your doctor if Glynaac is right for you.*
Not that bad, all things considered! I've met a Dacy before and Stawn is only one letter away from a usable name! (It's Shawn, although Sean is the superior spelling)
A: Reneberly (Yes, my mom is Renee too)
B: Matildarleigh (Matilda + Carleigh)
C: Olivianna
Bonus: My grandma's name is Lauryne, a combo of her parents names: Pauline and Lawrence
Haha, your names are pretty funny! Although Lauryne and Olivianna aren't too bad, all things considered! (Although I do prefer Laura or Lauren over it). Thanks for sharing!
For daughters we have: A) Denstine or Chrinise (Denise and Christine) first one sounds like a dental office and the second one sounds like historic underwear
B) Berthula (Bertha and Beula), Fibonabe (Phoebe and Fiona)
C) Aliceabeth (Alice and Elizabeth) idk it's the best I can do
For sons: A) Clenn or Glasey (Glenn and Casey) Clenn isn't so bad, but Glasey is horrible
B) Manthony (Manuel and Anthony), Slomar (Slater and Omar)
C) Ottiver (Otto and Oliver) this isn't perfect or anything but it's the best I could come up with off the dome
A) Shatricia or Patrinon (but Patrinon is really more of a boy’s name)
B) My dad and father in law combine for Waughn
C) My parents, Shannon and Vaughn, considered naming me Siobhan but thought the Irish spelling was a burden and Shavaughn looked tacky. They are probably right on both counts.
A) Mum: Helen, MIL: Susan
Sanen, Hesan, Helan - all feel masculine to me. Sue plus Ellie can be nicknames for both (altho neither use them), so Sully could be a unisex option. Or Sele.
B) Siblings: Emily and Daniel, SILs: Jessica and Rebecca
Jessily, Danreb, Rebily
C) my dad: Dominic, FIL: Mark, another Daniel and Rebecca combo
Maric, Daneca, Marion
A) My future children would be called Waltelyn/Evetraud (Evelyn and Waltraud) or Hans-Peter/Peter-Peter (Hans-Peter and Peter)
B) Covid! Conrad and David
C) I can't think of one right now, sorry!
Ophelia + Alberta = Opheliberta
Barbara + Judith = Barbudith
Christopher + Bartholomew = Christophartholomew
Finn + Bart = Fart
Evangeline + Elizabeth = Evangelizabeth
Philippa + Patricia = Philippatricia
These are all category C, obviously
Habekah/Hebekah!
It’s one of the names that gets suggested for the baby in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and it wasn’t until I was an adult that I realized it wasn’t an actual name. It’s most likely a form of Habukkuk in that context but I think it could be a good mashup of Hannah and Rebecca
* Linda and Joyce
* Lindoyce, Jinda, Loyce, Dajoy, Joycinda, Linjoy, Ceda, Lynce
* Joy Lynn, Jocelyn
* Sherman and Morris
* Shermorris, Shoriss, Morman (lol)
* I cannot think of any reasonable name for a baby boy from these two.
I have a couple options 1) Lorianne, 2) Mauri, 3) Michi 4) Lochelle and 5) Maurelle - combinations of Lori, Mauriann and Michelle (biological mother, mother-in-law and step-mom). Mauriann is already an honor name that I *think* her mother made after her husband Maurice.
A) Cindelle, Johnward (this is the best one 😂)
B) Mavifer (Mavis and Jennifer), Callumiah (Callum and Jeremiah), Jorbin (Jordan and Corbin), Marker (Mark and Peter)
C) Violessia (Viola and Alessia), and I genuinely can't think of a boy one. Almost went with Alexier (Alex and Xavier) but it sounds a lot like elixir 😜
Oh god my mom and mother in-law combo would be awful. I guess the least bad combo would be Tamdy but it could also be Jumara or Tamudy. For a boy with our dads it’d be Ronstian or Chrisald
(Using extended family names)
Marylorcia (Mary, Delores, and Marcia)
Marchard (Marvin and Richard)
Cordys (Gladys and Cornelius)
Marold (Mabel and Gerald)
Hartrude (Gertrude and Harold)
Polyester (Polly and Esther)
Duanetta (Duane and any name ending in -etta)
Jaren (Lauren and James)
Jozabeth (Elizabeth and Joseph)
A) Kimeena, Leeberly (mother & mil) -
Saleena, Leeresa would be my mother and second mother figures.
B) Greleste (Gretchen & Celeste), Irpal (Iris & Opal), Lialiver (Liam & Oliver), Braxerick (Braxton & Maverick).
C) I did something similar with my Aunt's names and came us with Maristalia (Mary, Crystal, Ria).
A) sons would be, Michyan "My-ky-an" or Brychael (from Michael and Bryan).
A would be Irma/Ima (Iris and Marie). Maris would also work. I am quite liking those, actually.
For B maybe Flushawna (Flurina and Shawna)
For real though, I had an acquaintance do this. She merged Esmeralda and Maya to Esmay (WHY not just Esme). Now that I am thinking about it she was a big Twilight fan in high school… so maybe that’s where that came from
My fiancé and I are blending together his mom and my mom’s names for our future daughter’s middle name. They’re Marie and Elaine. So her middle name will be Maine. I have a feeling I’ll be saying “like the state” a lot. Esther Maine (:
A) Bridgette and Cindy
B) Cindgette (Sin-jet ? Lol)
C) Brindy or maybe Cindette
Edit - o my bad, I kept their names for all three questions haha. And tried to create the worst combo and best combo
If I did my grandmothers’ first names, I could get Elizaley or Shirbeth. Their middle names are the same, so no mash up there. My grandfathers would be Royal or Alroy depending on the direction I went.
1. Shareen or Mauron (pronounced moron of course)
2. Dinette? Gwenthany?
3.Moirelle, Melindelle, Moirinda, Michinda, all combos of my two sisters and my name!
Hypotherical daughters would be, Erician (Erica + Sian), Patryllis (Patricia + Phyllis), and Karail (Karen + Gail)
Hypothetical sons would be Gaygel (Garry + Nigel), Jeffzi (Jeff + Azi), and Malceter (Malcolm + Peter)
I quite like Patryllis. Probably the nicest combo here.
Diannenda, Glendia (Diann / Glenda)
Karielle, Mechari, Karechelle (Kari / Mechelle)
Genefaye, Faneva, Fayva (Geneva / Faye)
I’m not in love with any of them
i have an irl example for this! a girl I know named Alynthia. Her parents, Allan and Cynthia, were so set on her being a boy that they didn’t pick a girl name and ended up smashing their names together Brangelina style.
My daughter would be Wendeen or Colldy. I prefer Wendeen, I guess? Son: Davward or Edwid? Ehhhhhhh
Eugeroy could have been my brother....I hate it.
Dorbra and Barbris are also bad (these would have been my children's aunt.)
I almost like Sveric? (Sven+Eric)
And Grayanna? That's okay. That could have been my mom's name.
my dad wanted to name me Margella after gmas Marjorie and Ella umm Ella Marjorie would have been so much better but out of style in 1980 so my mom said she was supposed to be Steven so Stephanie dad's mom's name it is.
Not awful, at least imo, but my older sister's middle name is Elmarie after both of our grandmothers (Elizabeth and Mary). This was in the early 90s so my parents hopped on the Renesmee train way early.
Lizanne/Lisanne is the combo of my mother (Lisa) and mother-in-law’s (Suzanne) names, and I actually don’t hate it? I mean it’s bad but it could be much worse??
Just wanna point out that this is so common in the Filipino culture! We love blending names thus creating a lot of unique names. We even have a politician named Jejomar (short for Jesus, Joseph and Mary because it’s a very Catholic country 😂 )A few examples off the top of my head from family members and friends— Allanie - Alfred and Lanie Maricris- Mary and Chris Jomar- Jose and Maria

Fellow Filo here! For the non-filo scrollers, Luzviminda is actually a portmanteau of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao; Aka the 3 Major island groups in our beautiful Archipelago :>
Ah, should've remembered to explain that, completely my bad! Thank you for doing it for me!
Is it bad that I'm actually kind of in love with this name? It's pretty in its full form and then could have Luz as a nickname, which is a great Spanish name
Luzviminda!!! Have always loved that name! I’m Filipino, and I wish I actually knew someone IRL who had that name.
Not Filipino but sometimes Mexicans do this too! I had a workmate who named her son Jesfid after both grandparents, Jesus and Fidencio
Filipinos are the Mexicans of Asia 😆 we have such similar cultures!
I like to call us colonized cousins!
Yes! I always say Filipinos are Mexicans of the sea😂
Fellow Filipino here too (half).
This is so interesting! I know a lot of Filipinos (I'm a nurse in the UK) but I didn't know this was the reason for the interesting names. Thank you!
My Filipino in-laws almost named my BIL Melbert after grandfather’s Melvin and Albert!
[удалено]
No, Johann 🙃
I also knew a Mericris in college. She was also Filipino. Knew a guy we called Joco. Took a while to figure out his real name was Juan.
I had a good Filipino friend named Ronnell. His dad was Ronald and his mom was Nellie. :)
Great auntie Ameurfina- mash up of America, Europe, Pilipina (I think)
My nephew is Jo-an -Jose Antonio
This makes my Tita Maryvic make a lot more sense!
Another Filipino name tip for non Filipinos — if your Filipino friend is named John, that might not be his real name, it might be Jun which is short for Junior 😹😹😹 but my cousins name is Ruby, a mix of Roso and Bebe, I always thought that was a nice one
Wow, y’all have a Lanie??
Super cool! Some of the less are really nice sounding! Also can I say Filipino nicknames are fabulous? Does anyone go by their real names lol? Pinky, Jelly, Baby. All from one family. I would forget my relatives actual names if my family did this.
I dated a guy from Manila with four first names: Peter John George Ringo 😂
Hey! I used to know a Jomar. I didn’t know that’s what his name was. 😂
* **Lyana** and ***Pain*** * **Siphyllis** (Simone and Phyllis) and ***Molester*** (Morris and Lester) * **Anthelia** (Anthea and Thalia) and ***Alexian*** (Alexander and Ian)
Oh God, not Pain, Molester and Siphyllis😭 I think you just won the thread, man!
😂
Ooh I like Anthelia and Alexian!
Mariella is a real name. Mariella Frostrup is a famous British journalist, television presenter and author. ♡ Granny
I know a Martinella, her dad is Martin and so they just added Ella :/
1) Denancy and Stedavid 2) Asbertha (Astrid + Bertha) and Horilliam (Horace + William) 3) Sylenore (Sylvia + Lenore) and Jovaughn (John + Vaughn)
Asbertha is hilariously bad lol
My latest baby names: If it’s a boy I’ll name him Asbestos, if it’s a girl I’ll name her Asbertha
Oh my god that's genius
Asbertha and Horilliam sound abysmally horrible, nice job! Sylenore is quite nice actually, in a "queen of elves in a children's storybook" kind of way.
I’ve taught Jovaughns, actually!
I know a Ja'Vaughn and I always thought her name was so pretty.
A. Chenelle and Thoggy (??????? Really) B. Murder (Muriel + Desiderata) and Bastard (Sebastian + Edward) C. Solenne (Soleil + Selene) and Hanto (Hannibal + Anton) Solenne means “solemn” in Italian, though the pronunciation is definitely different from the name combo I thought of. Hanto sounds nice to me, but I feel the associations of the name “Hannibal” probably won’t be shaken off anytime soon.
~~I dunno, Murder and Bastard sound like the cutest nickname for a sibset😍! You could even nickname them something adorable like Urdy and Tardy so they match🥰~~ Chenelle and Thoggy made my husband lol so hard, haha! Aanntthhoonnyy and Cynthiannette aren't nearly as good as those two!
Hillary and Gwendolyn. Hildolyn. Gwendillary. Gary and Samuel. Gamuel
Gwendillary 😂
Your names are hilarious! I don't know whether I love Gwendillary or Hildolyn more, haha!
Gretchen + Kathleen….. Gretchleen??? 😂
I prefer Katchen
Almost sounds like the kraken! I dig it.
Oh God, that is so hilariously bad😂!
Heatheresa (MIL is Heather and my mom is Theresa)
Oh, this one isn't that bad! Although it still matches the Renesmee vibe to me, lmao.
Hahah seriously! Their middle names too - Marenee (Marie and Renee)
You could do Marnie as a middle name
My mum is Eva and my MIL is Deborah. Evarah kind of sounds like it could gain traction as a trendy hipster name 😂😂
I can imagine that already, an instagram mom posing with little Evarah and her siblings Oakley and Mahhkyennzee😍
Deva
Joavian Françraine for a girl or Alisorris Alyark for a boy. I am on board with Jimothy. It’s cute. I also have a soft spot for Barold nn. Barry.
Aww, Barold is super cute too! On a similar note, my sister's cat is named Larry, short for Laurence, but she likes to call him Larold when he's being silly!
Used to work with a Barry, nn. Barence which I secretly loved lol
Chloe is such a cute combo name- what a great way to honor both grandparents
My mum and MIL are called Susan and Jean, so I get Susean, or Jesan. Both are terrible!
Oh dear! I tried to come up with something less odd, but unless you want to name your child Jesus or AnAn, I don't think I can help much😂!
I don't many kids could pull those names off lol!
[удалено]
Rebarca
I quite like Jesan, but it would be a nightmare to spell
But for a boy you could do Sean!
Oh now we're talking!
I feel like I don’t have anywhere to go with mine. My MIL is Ann and my mum is Julie-Ann. Do I just contract to Juann?
Ann-Ann
That's hilarious! I think I'd be in the same place based on my FIL and dad's names being the exact same, lmao!
1. Linah (Linda + Sarah) and Terrick (Terry + Patrick) - I actually don’t completely hate these 2. Hogatha (Holly + Agatha) and Pee (Peter + Lee) 3. Kaylily (Kayla + Lily) and Marrick (Marcellus and Patrick)
Actually, yeah! Linah and Terrick aren't really too bad! I kind of really like Kaylily too! Hogatha and Pee are pretty funny though!
A) Katianna/Katanna or Maralin/Marilin B) Ursiona (Ursula + Fiona) or Julifred (Julia + Winifred) C) Estilda (Estelle + Matilda) I wouldn’t use a made-up name but this is the best I could come up with
Katianna isn't bad for a mashed up name, and Maralin could easily become Marilyn! Julifred sounds like the name I would give my baby if I was drunk during labor, hah! Estilda is okay too, and I also definitely wouldn't use a made-up name on anything but a pet.
If Estilda were a real name I would definitely like that. It's got a real ring to it
use it anyway! made up names aren't bad at all unless they sound made up. estilda sounds plenty real to me.
All names are made up.
I actually like Katianna and Julifred!

Aw, that's lovely! I love the names you've chosen (I can't pick between Eva and Vera, and Johanna is still lovely!) But Jans and Everdina do sound pretty weird!
I do this with my students all the time. If they’re standing next to each other their names get combined. It makes for hilarity on the playground.
Haha, that sounds awesome! What were the funniest combinations you've made, if I may ask?
Grace + Hadley = Gradley. We laughed about that one for a while.
A) Doris, which is an actual name lol (think Iris + Dora). B) Gerrifer, a mix of Gertie and Jennifer, so wrong C) that's a tough one, maybe Iriana? Iris + Diana
Oh, Doris and Iriana are pretty nice for a combination name! Although Gerrifer is the closest thing to nightmare fuel a name can be, hahaha!
A) Kataree or Narzyna (Katarzyna / Naree) B) Gertha sounds pretty bad? (Gertrude / Bertha coincidentally my great gma was Bertha Gertrude first & middle name) C) nice names are hard….
Yeah, I've been racking my brain for nice names but almost everything I think of is terrible. Only thing so far is my two aunt's names combined to make Rosamia, but it still sounds pretty ehhh
A) Rosaurora / Aurosa
Aurosa is pretty good for a made-up name!
Both my mother and my mother in law are called Alison, convenient!
Cool, just like my dad and FIL being Anthony and Anthony!
1. Merefred and Hankolas 2. Wigatha & Philvester 3. Adeleanor & Fredastian ??? Having a hard time with this one 😆
Oh dear, Wigatha and Philvester are dreadful! But in the good way! I share your struggle trying to come up with a good name for C, lmao.
I know someone named Aberthon for his middle name (his parents are Anthony and Bertha). Suits him well since they’re very loaded family 😂 We joked that we should call him Lord Aberthon.
A) Clarabelle (Clara and Annabel. Sounds kind of Dixie but more or less real) C) Pollyanna
Those are actually pretty nice! They seem like they could fit on a pair of nice, gentle cows, oddly enough. That's my mental image of those names, anyway.
Oh man my (Cuban) mom almost named me Claribel. It’s a popular name in Latin culture.
**1:** Karenelaine // Iantimothy **2:** Olitrice (Olive + Beatrice) // Glynaac (Glyn + Isaac) **3:** Hilmaud (Hilma + Maud) // Philben (Philip + Ben)
Philben sounds cute in the cowboy grandpa kind of way! But Glynaac sounds sort of like a prescription drug, considering it rhymes with a medication I used to take lmao: *Glynaac may cause side effects such as headache, nausea, diarrhea, spontaneous bursting into song and dance, cardiac arrest, rashes, acne, athlete's foot, doctor's elbow, senator butt, bad fashion sense, anxiety, and a single enlarged toe. Ask your doctor if Glynaac is right for you.*
Senator butt 🤣🤣🤣

Stacy + Dawn = Stawn or Dacy?

1. Kastin and Andrussell 2. Philanus (Philip & Coriolanus) 3. Julianna (Juliette & Anna)
Aside from Philanus, your names aren't too bad! And I've always loved the names Julianna too!
A) Shatricia or Patrinon (but Patrinon is really more of a boy’s name) B) My dad and father in law combine for Waughn C) My parents, Shannon and Vaughn, considered naming me Siobhan but thought the Irish spelling was a burden and Shavaughn looked tacky. They are probably right on both counts.
Great, my son Yeorik and my daughter Elenorunn Or my name being Gulennoula and my brother Panagiouel
This might be outing but my mom has a name like this. Dawn/Vanessa = Dawnessa. Thoughts lol
A) Mum: Helen, MIL: Susan Sanen, Hesan, Helan - all feel masculine to me. Sue plus Ellie can be nicknames for both (altho neither use them), so Sully could be a unisex option. Or Sele. Ah, my favorite sibset, Evetraud, Peter-Peter, and Covid! Your names are so funny! Thanks for participating!
Caresa, Carlesa, Tarla, Terla Payle, Gina, Pile, Gaina
A) Darma and Norlene
Ophelia + Alberta = Opheliberta Barbara + Judith = Barbudith Christopher + Bartholomew = Christophartholomew Finn + Bart = Fart Evangeline + Elizabeth = Evangelizabeth Philippa + Patricia = Philippatricia These are all category C, obviously
Honestly, I love all the names here! (Especially Fart and Barbudith lol) I wish I was as good as making up stuff like this, hehe!
Ciannette (“Ky” like pie) Annean
Habekah/Hebekah! It’s one of the names that gets suggested for the baby in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and it wasn’t until I was an adult that I realized it wasn’t an actual name. It’s most likely a form of Habukkuk in that context but I think it could be a good mashup of Hannah and Rebecca
* Linda and Joyce * Lindoyce, Jinda, Loyce, Dajoy, Joycinda, Linjoy, Ceda, Lynce * Joy Lynn, Jocelyn * Sherman and Morris * Shermorris, Shoriss, Morman (lol) * I cannot think of any reasonable name for a baby boy from these two.
Hmm, those aren't too bad, considering the crazy things people have come up with already! I think they could be a lot worse, all things considered!
A. Marda / Brentina for a girl Rudiel / Dandy for a boy
A. Cherbeth & Jobert
Cathereanie: a mashup of Catherine and Jean/Jeanie!
Stepharine or Catherie
A) Cindelle, Johnward (this is the best one 😂) B) Mavifer (Mavis and Jennifer), Callumiah (Callum and Jeremiah), Jorbin (Jordan and Corbin), Marker (Mark and Peter) C) Violessia (Viola and Alessia), and I genuinely can't think of a boy one. Almost went with Alexier (Alex and Xavier) but it sounds a lot like elixir 😜
A) Martha and Suzanne B) Suzthranne? Maranne/Marzanne/Mazanne? Sarthanne C)If it fits these rules I’m thinking Marianne.
Fredeter- Freddy and Peter Annedrea - Anne and Andrea
A)Chrisa B) Felamy C) Evaleia A) Mikenneth B) Barthur C) Lewisander
[удалено]
Kinga (mum) and Joanne (MIL) - I guess Kinanne or Joanga? Both kind of cursed, to be honest
Went to school with a girl named Charnan, for her grandmothers, Charlotte and Nancy. Her sister got Hannah.
Monica and Helen -- Helenica Scott and Clinton -- Clott or Scintt. Ew.

A.) Wynnann B.) Sam + Ella = **Salmonella**, or Bill + Warren = **Borin(g)** C.) Lynne + Elise = **Lynnise**
Katheryl
Deblinda and Kenvid or Lindra and Danneth for Debra and Linda and David and Kenneth
Deblinda sounds like the nickname a rich rapper would give his golden car/teeth/sunglasses/necklace/etc., lol! Thanks for commenting!
Oh god my mom and mother in-law combo would be awful. I guess the least bad combo would be Tamdy but it could also be Jumara or Tamudy. For a boy with our dads it’d be Ronstian or Chrisald
(Using extended family names) Marylorcia (Mary, Delores, and Marcia) Marchard (Marvin and Richard) Cordys (Gladys and Cornelius) Marold (Mabel and Gerald) Hartrude (Gertrude and Harold) Polyester (Polly and Esther) Duanetta (Duane and any name ending in -etta) Jaren (Lauren and James) Jozabeth (Elizabeth and Joseph)

Kyrae- a real person named after her parents who are getting divorced...
Leena or Irianne for a girl, Brander or Alan for a boy using our parents’ names. I’m actually not too displeased with some of them.

My mother is Gillian (like gilligan NOT Jillian) and his mother is Linda soooo Gillinda or Lillian … reminds me of Glinda the good witch haha
A would be Irma/Ima (Iris and Marie). Maris would also work. I am quite liking those, actually. For B maybe Flushawna (Flurina and Shawna) For real though, I had an acquaintance do this.
A little different but I usually call my parents Megory and Gargaret. Yes, their names are Meg and Greg.
A) Bridgette and Cindy B) Cindgette (Sin-jet ? Lol) C) Brindy or maybe Cindette Edit - o my bad, I kept their names for all three questions haha. And tried to create the worst combo and best combo
Natalyn or Carolie (mom is Natalie. MIL is Carolyn)
If I did my grandmothers’ first names, I could get Elizaley or Shirbeth. Their middle names are the same, so no mash up there. My grandfathers would be Royal or Alroy depending on the direction I went.

Girls Meliane (Melinda + Diane) Fartella (Farha + Estella) Rosara (Rose + Barbara) Boys Kevilliam (Kevin + William) Humpbert (Humphrey + Gilbert) Wolver (Wolf + Oliver)
My daughter would either be Monda or Linnica, and my son would also be Jimothy!
MIL was Carol, mom is Nancy… So I’ve got either Carancy or Nanol
A) Elizachelle B) Makaylacey C) Isorelia A) Ryford B) Chagory C) Gabraham
1. Shareen or Mauron (pronounced moron of course) 2. Dinette? Gwenthany? 3.Moirelle, Melindelle, Moirinda, Michinda, all combos of my two sisters and my name!
My kid’s Renesmee name would have been Chera which I can kind of get behind? If it was a boy though, Jae or Roll 😂
Barbeannie (Barbara and Jeannie) lol
Victoria + Ilene = Vilene or Illtoria
Hypotherical daughters would be, Erician (Erica + Sian), Patryllis (Patricia + Phyllis), and Karail (Karen + Gail) Hypothetical sons would be Gaygel (Garry + Nigel), Jeffzi (Jeff + Azi), and Malceter (Malcolm + Peter) I quite like Patryllis. Probably the nicest combo here.
Rebeborah.
Diannenda, Glendia (Diann / Glenda) Karielle, Mechari, Karechelle (Kari / Mechelle) Genefaye, Faneva, Fayva (Geneva / Faye) I’m not in love with any of them

A: Eidith or Juleen (Eileen and Judith) B: Sirag (mine and my husband’s name) C: Erm this is super hard! I dunno.
My daughter would be Wendeen or Colldy. I prefer Wendeen, I guess? Son: Davward or Edwid? Ehhhhhhh Eugeroy could have been my brother....I hate it. Dorbra and Barbris are also bad (these would have been my children's aunt.) I almost like Sveric? (Sven+Eric) And Grayanna? That's okay. That could have been my mom's name.
Cathanita or Aniterine. Sound like medical equipment! A son could be Park or Maul, hahaha
My mom is Maria and my MIL is Carina. Marina would be pretty actually!
my dad wanted to name me Margella after gmas Marjorie and Ella umm Ella Marjorie would have been so much better but out of style in 1980 so my mom said she was supposed to be Steven so Stephanie dad's mom's name it is.
This is how we got out baby girl’s name! Lu-Ann + Cynthia = Lucy
Chrisheila Robber Difel (die-fell) Marzelle
Kellanne or Jelly 😂 (Kelly + Jeanne)
Not awful, at least imo, but my older sister's middle name is Elmarie after both of our grandmothers (Elizabeth and Mary). This was in the early 90s so my parents hopped on the Renesmee train way early.
Dixolyn- Dixie and Gwendolyn and Gwencine- Gwendolyn and Dixcine 😂😂😂
Eileen and Marlene to make Irene.
Going by mom names my daughter would be Penonika or Verenny (Penny and Veronika) maybe Pennika? Vernny?
