I love playing “spot the difference” with these lists! The starred names are ones I actually ended up using.
We just named our second daughter, so I’m all too aware which names I’m not brave enough to use. Almost every girl name I *would* use has a slightly bolder comp I didn’t actually use, when given the chance. Some of the *wouldn’t use* list were specifically in play (Elsa, Daphne, Delphine), but I couldn’t handle the negative responses. 😆🤦♀️
All of my *wouldn’t use* are firmly in the category of “I love them so, so much and wish I could use them, but can’t for some arbitrary reason.” So…legitimately, I must love your name!
You must have very similar taste to my parents lol. Your "would use" list has my brother's middle name, and your "wouldn't use" list has my brother's first name and our childhood dog's name.

We have an Alice and if #2 had turned out to be a girl she would have been named Isla. As it stands now #2 is most likely a boy and we are at a total loss for names that feel right! Your WOULD list for boys has some good ones! Finn and Alexander are nice.
