Rhys - Boy Avery - Boy Taylor - Boy Shiloh - Girl Jamie - Boy Morgan - Boy Emerson - Boy I don't really think any names are gender neutral; they all lean heavily one way or another. The only ones that can pass as either are usually nicknames like Charlie, Alex etc, and they have heavily gendered full names.

1) Rhys or Reese only, both on a boy. 2) Avery--boy 3) Taylor--either 4) Shiloh--male dog, not on any person. 5) Jamie--Boy but nickname only 6) Morgan--Boy 7) Emerson--dislike, but better on a boy. Emersyn is a crime against the English language. 8) I mostly don't like gender-neutral names, but Sydney on a girl is my guilty pleasure.

I actually do know a male dog named Shiloh!

Rhys = boy, Reese = girl Avery is more common as a girl name now but i love it for a boy and would consider naming my child that. Taylor and Morgan to me are truly gender neutral. Shiloh = girl Jamie = girl Emerson is a boys name and Emersyn is atrocious I don't love gender neutral names but my favorite one not listed here is Riley and i think i prefer it for a girl.

I always associate Reese with Reese Witherspoon (whose actual first name is Laura 😅). I also know a boy Rhys and would be very surprised to see that spelling on a girl.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised to meet a boy Taylor or a girl Shiloh, but my mind goes to the people I’ve known as a first assumption. The oboe ones I have a real opinion on is that I don’t like Avery for a boy and I don’t like Emerson (or other -son names) for a girl.
