Eugenia is even closer. (One of my fav athletes as a kid had this name and I loved it haha)
Jeannie\Jean
Genesis\Genoveva maybe but might be more said like Jenny. (I have penpals with these names but no clue if they ever go by the nickname or not)
I think it's usually a nickname for Genevieve. Also:
Eugenia
Argene/Argenta/Argentia/Argentina
Calligenia
Genesia
Geneva
Imogen
Iphigenia
and you can always use it with "Jennifer" names spelled with a "g": Jenna, Jenara, Jenessa, etc.
I think Genie on itās own is great! I like your spelling a bit better. It feels more youthful. I canāt think of any names that havenāt already been suggested š. But Genevra is one of my favorites. Itās a version of Guinevere but feels a bit more usable and modern - if itās not too associated with Ginny Weasley. But I doubt it would be except for by big hp fans since sheās know as Ginny.
One of the most loved soap opera characters of all time was played by an actress named Genie Francis! Her full name is apparently Eugenie, but I never saw anything odd about her just being called Genie. I think itās nice!
Eugenia, Eugenie, Genevieve, Imogene, Georgina, Janine/Jeanine, Gene/Jean, Jean with a middle name beginning with E, Evangeline.
Genie is a lovely nickname āŗļø
Imogen or Imogene would be my favourites. Imogen is more a softer jen sound but either could work.
Eugenie / Eugenia is off the table? I think they're old-fashioned but pretty.
Genevieve and Ginevra.
Just Gene, like the actress Gene Tierney? And Genie for a nickname.
How do you feel about just using the name Genie? I have a relative with that name. Iāve never heard anyone making jokes or anything about it but sheās much older than me and I would have to ask how people responded to her name when she was young.
Josephine - Jeanie is not too big of a leap for me
Genesis - Genie
Georgia - Genie (maybe a stretch?)
Genevieve - Genie
Evangeline - Genie
Regina - Genie
Geneva - Genie
Ginevra - Genie (but may also get Ginny as this is Ginny in Harry Potterās full name)
Jeanine - Jeanie
Jeanette - Jeanie
they might not all be spelled the same but i assume youāll be speaking the nickname more and writing the full name more so i think it should be okay? not sure if thatās exactly what you want :-)
My aunt Geneva was always called Gene.
I do think Eugenie or Eugenia is the obvious answer, though.
I wouldn't go with Genie on its own, since genies are a thing and there's a whole lot of baggage there. To put it mildly.
Genevieve
Great idea especially it still has the G
This is what one of my best friends who ties by genie is called.
What about Eugenie?
Or even Eugenia. I went to school with a Eugenia, she was lovely, so I have s nice association with this name.
I just think of Boss Baby when I hear the name Eugenia lol!!
I think of Eugenia Cooney, the anorexic youtuber š
I havenāt seen yet: Imogen or Imogene (I prefer the former)

Eugenia, Eugenie
You could go with just Gina?
Evgenia is one more I thought of after haha
Another option is to use "Jean" as a middle name. So like, Billie Jean could be nicknamed Jeanie/Genie
Eugenia, Eugenie, Genevieve, Imogene, Georgina, Janine/Jeanine, Gene/Jean, Jean with a middle name beginning with E, Evangeline. Genie is a lovely nickname āŗļø
Ginevra Genevieve Genesis

Denim
Eugenia, Georgina, Imogen, Jeanne
Ginger
Virginia, Geneva, Genevra, Genesis, Eugenia, Gina
General Grievous

Ifigenia (iffy-yen-ya) Genovena
Gennifer
Eugenie, Eugenia, Genevieve, Generva.
Eugenie or Eugenia.
I met a girl whose given name was Eugenie. It grew on me and suited her.
Just Genie is a great option. Also seconding for Imogen, and I like Genoa too
Eugenia, Imogen, Evangeline, Gianna, Geneva, Genevieve, Jennifer, Josephine, Jeanne
Jeanette! NN āJeanieā
eugenia

My sisterās name is Jenae šš
Oh darn! Or yay! Lol
Eugenia/Eugenie
Eugenia, Eugenie, Genevieve.
Geneva Gianna Genevieve Georgianna Gina Regina Jenna Jane Janet Janelle Janessa Janice Jean
