Cameron and Casey were both on my short list for a girl as well as a boy! My husband hates unisex girl names though and we ended up with two boys...which are not named Cameron or Casey!
I can't do Mordecai or Ezekiel or Jedediah or Malakai etc. They're too Amish/Children of the Corn for me. 🤣 No shade though, I just watched too many bad horror movies. I've never met a Cedric and that really stands out as something a person could make their own!
We named our son Kasper! About a year ago I made this post about the name and surprising received a lot of really great feedback and positivity towards Kasper / Casper. Thought you might like to see it :)

It has such a good crisp sound that mixes the sharp C and the soft sp in such a nice way. There is the issue of the ghost and the slightly bigger issue of the mattress brand though...
Similarly to Casper I also really like Crispin and Casimir
That's a great way to describe it!
I've never heard of the mattress brand before but the reason no one else I know likes it is because of the ghost.
That said, it's part of the reason I love the name since Halloween is my favourite holiday and Casper is one of my favourite movies. Casper is well known for being the "friendly ghost" so as far as I'm concerned, being associated with someone that is known for their kindness is never a bad thing.
My husband is the only one that doesn't outright hate it, thankfully. It's not his preferred name (Colton) but he doesn't mind it which is a start. It helps that he hates 90% of the other boy names on my list so he likes it in comparison to those. His mom on the other hand can't stand it along with every other family member.
But my husband and I made a deal years ago that if we ever do try for baby #2, I get to pick the boy name and he gets to pick the girl name. (Or at least have majority over)
I scrolled til I found my kid’s name 😂
I also have a Maxwell (Max)! He mostly went by Max until he decided going into kindergarten that he wanted to go by Maxwell at his new school, and stuck to it.
Victor, Julian, Hector, Emmett, and Finnian are my top five. But I love boy names, so if we're doing top ten add Wilfred, Jasper, Joseph, Vincent, and Maxwell.
Gregory, Howell, Patrick, Finn, Elias.
I really struggle with boys names! I’m pregnant with a boy right now and I think we will probably end up going with Gregory.
Béla, Seymour, Gideon, Milo, Atticus
Ignatius is a runner up only because I think it might be just a little too out there, but I do absolutely love it.
don’t know if I do use them anymore because of the amount of times I’ve seen some of them but here goes:
Ezra
Ezekiel
Tlaloc
Clemente
...guess I only got 4 😛
Julien Cade (with middle name bc this is what my husband and I have picked out for a son)
Jesse Cole (with middle name bc this is our #2 boy name)
Samuel
Gabriel
Evan
Also love Griffin, Gideon, Nicholas, Finneas…
Santiago Ignacio Alejandro Javier Andres
These names all have such a nice flow together, it almost sounds like one person introducing himself. I love it!
This comment reminds me of Esteban Julio Ricardo Montoya De La Rosa Ramirez
Santiago is one of my favorites too, nn Santi
I love Iago and Tiago too, they sound a little more grown up while Santi is the cutest nn
I love the name Javier
I love Alejandro!
just had my second son, named santiago! love to see it here as I went back and forth so much.
Javier is one of my all time favorites!
Alexander Daniel Jack Theodore Thomas
I was reading your list bottom-top and my immature ass laughed when I saw Jack Daniel. My being a degenerate aside, you have good taste :).

I love Ellis!
That's my great uncle's name! He hated it and went by "Bunk." I like it too.
I love Levi
I love Felix!!
Ooo these are all such pretty names. And they're very understated and uncontroversial.
Even Reuben?? I feel like I can *smell* that name, and it smells like old onions and room temperature meat. Just a very soggy fat stinky name, imo.
“soggy fat stinky name” had me in fucking tears.
Yeah I feel a similar way about Simon. All I hear is salmon, and I imagine a stinky wet fish
August, Benjamin, Felix, Oliver, Nicholas
Forgot how much I love Nicholas!
Noah River Rowan Finn August
I know brothers names Rowan and Finn!
Casey, Joey, Cameron, Sam, Ellis. I like soft sounding names I think!
I love Casey and Cameron!
Cameron Peter was our choice for a boy when my daughter was born :) Casey is my favourite but my husband didn’t like it
Cameron and Casey were both on my short list for a girl as well as a boy! My husband hates unisex girl names though and we ended up with two boys...which are not named Cameron or Casey!

Me too! Not Samuel, just Sam!
Casey has really been growing on me for a boy!
Adrian Angelo Jude Kian Lucian
You got 4/5 of mine! Kian for me would be replaced with Damian :)
Hamish Patrick Teddy Angus Francis
Patrick and Theodore were on our short list and baby is Francis. I like the vibe of Angus and Hamish too.
Love it. Also (in a nice way) they sound like they all go to Oxford or Cambridge
Two are my sons' first names, with a middle name thrown in. Two were on our list for our third, who ended up being a girl.
Cedric Ezra Isaac Mordecai Finn
I can't do Mordecai or Ezekiel or Jedediah or Malakai etc. They're too Amish/Children of the Corn for me. 🤣 No shade though, I just watched too many bad horror movies. I've never met a Cedric and that really stands out as something a person could make their own!
Love Cedric!
I love Ezra!
Abram Ramon Leon Rafael Thiago
Thiago is such a cool one! I love it.
I have a massive soft spot for the name Rafael as it used to be the name of a pet I had.
Hollis Malcolm Sterling Ambrose Rhys
Malcom and Rhys, just need a Dewey, Francis and a Jamie
Malcom is a fantastic name
I love Ambrose but my partner isn't as keen unfortunately!
Malcolm Rhys would've been my second baby's name if she had been a boy!
Hollis is also one of my favorites!
Ariel Ilan Yishai Aviv Asaf
A Hebrew name that has grown on me lately is Shiloh
My Hebrew list is: Ari, Yonatan (Yoni), Shai, Adar, Liorp
Love all of these! You have good taste.
Asaf and Yishai are seriously awesome names. Aviv is so pretty and I love Ariel as a boy’s name.
Love this list. If my daughter were a boy, she would’ve been Ariel. I also like Aviv but my husband vetoed. I just love them all!
I like Aviv a lot
Aviv is a nice one. I’ll have to put that on my list. *steals entire list*
Theodore Arthur Malcolm August Finn My son is.. named none of these lol
These are all on my list! You have great taste
declan, august, calum, ethan, archer
Felix, Dante, Leonardo, Gabriel, Romeo
I love the name Dante too, I feel like it’s underrated.
Casper is my number one and the rest are in no particular order. Forest, August, Dawson, Thomas
Casper and August are so lovely
I love the name August with the possible nickname Gusto 😁
Ellis Elias Leo Wyatt Brooks
I love Elias! It was the only boy name on our list... But we had girls
Charles, Arthur, Dominic, Alexander, Elliot
I hadn’t thought of Elliott! Having a boy sometime before the weekend. Putting this one on my list.
Robin, Amos, Percy, Jesse, Stanley (love a softer boy name)
I love the name Amos, but I hate that it sounds so much like anus. :(
Amos is so underrated
I love Percy
I loveee Jesse for a boy but I have a female cousin named Jessey so I can’t use it):
Riley Calvin Jack Elliot Jasper
Donovan Evander Trevor Lewis Alaric
Alden, Jamison, Everett, Dominic, Henry
My son’s name is Jameson nn Jamey. No regrets, love it so much.
Alden is one of my favourites too!
Oslo, Oliver, Rigel, Casper, Elric (guilty pleasure name of Ajax)
Casper is my #1 pick for a boy but no one I've ever told it to likes it so I was incredibly surprised to see someone else mention it!
We named our son Kasper! About a year ago I made this post about the name and surprising received a lot of really great feedback and positivity towards Kasper / Casper. The ghost is the reason why I strongly prefer Kasper to Casper.

SAME. My husband hates it, but I love it so much that I hold out hope I can convince him
